I think a "welcome to teh interwebs, son" would be appropriate at the moment, but I don't really feel like it. I would like it if you (Spartan) would give arguments for your previous statement (that we're all idiots), but that would probably piss you off, since its sooooo much work. And people tend to be lazy from time to time, which gives me reason to believe that you (still Spartan) would just think/say/write either "No thanks.", "Fuck you, dude." or "Shut the fukk up!!!! Just shut up!!!!" or something equally (or perhaps somewhat more or somewhat less) negative. But that's okay, because we respect your freedom of speech (at least I do, but I doubt Nightkill will (but I could be wrong)).

But I do wonder about the concept of freedom of speech. Where lay the boundries? What is appropriate to say and what not? Is it okay to insult people with your 'freedom of speech' or not? And how do we define these boundries? I personally find it rather uncivilised to refrain from giving arguments for your statements, but then again, I do not always provide my statements with arguments either. So does that make me a hypocrite? I don't know. Maybe. And besides, most of my arguments aren't really that strong, rhetorically speaking.

Anyway, let's assume it is possible that we (the people who are contributing to this topic, except for Spartan and MJ) are idiots. What proof do we have for this hypothesis? Certainly, short replies may not seem proof of our astonishing intelligence, but neither does it imply that we are cavemen, just less furry (though you might revisit that view when you see my legs). Perhaps we could be subjected to a few tests, which may give a positive result (positive in the sense that the hypothesis was right and we are, in fact, idiots). But the tests could be flawed; either Spartan bribed the researchers (it has to be and remain an independent institute) or we (the potential idiots) lack the will of putting any effort in making the tests, which would statistically give us a lower chance of scoring high on the tests, thus giving a false image of how thing really are.
On the other hand, there is some clear evidence that we are not idiots. For one, we are appearently capable of using high tech devices such as computers and internet. In fact, we are even better capable of using the internet than Spartan, for we know what tropes are and where to find these tropes. If we would be idiots, and we are capable of more things than Spartan, then what would he be?
Now Spartan in a way tried to defused this argument by saying he could "kill our asses" in Halo, which by the way made me wonder what it would be to have deceased buttocks. But Slamfist did make a point by saying that bragging about Halo-skills aren't a proper way to prove non-idiocy. I must say I agree with that.

Somewhere along these previous lines, I got confused by the definition of an idiot. So I looked it up. According to wikipedia (but how do you know they're right, right?) an idiot is a "mentally deficient person, or someone who acts in a self-defeating or significantly counterproductive way." It is questionable when one would actually be a mentally deficient person, but deficiency means lack of something, in this case mental capabilities, such as thought, perception, will, emotion, memory and imagination.
Lets see if I lack one of these things:
-Thought: At the moment I am thinking whether or not I can think. Appearantly, I can think.
-Perception: I have showed the ability to collect information by looking up stuff on wikipedia. I am capable of perception.
-Will: I have put effort in writing this piece of information and self-reflection, I seem to have a will. When I die, I hope I still have a will, but that's a whole other kind of will.
-Emotion: I feel slightly offended by being called an idiot. This may not be a full emotion, such as anger or happiness, but it is an emotional response to an action/happening. I have emotion.
-Memory: Though my memory is no longer what it used to be due to excessive abuse of psycho-active substances, I can still remember stuff. Such as that I have to be in Amsterdam tomorrow around 10 o'clock. I am capable of remembering things.
-Imagination: Just look what we all do on this site; we make up stuff with our imagination. I too am capable of imagining things.
Behold, I have proven that I possess all the mental capabilities, which proofs that I am not an idiot. Therefore, the hypothesis "You are all idiots" is disproven and false, since we could no longer speak of "You are all" for I would be the missing piece of the 100% of this selected group of subjects.

Sorry Spartan, you are fundamentally wrong.

spartan definately falls under the "self-defeating" part of the definition of idiot, he clearly lacks the fundamental ability to give any kind of weight to an arguement or to prove a statement he has made to be factual. He's also given us evidence to his ignorance of everything involving the English language with terrible grammar and spelling skills. In fact you, The_soapmaker, being from Holland, have a greater grasp of spartan's primary language than he does. I believe the seven other posters in this thread, excluding spartan in my calculations of course, have all proven to be far more competent than spartan himself. So for him to call us idiots seems very self-defeating, once again leading me to the conclusion that he is in fact, the idiot.

Kabel:
Chaotic Good - He is a vigilante
Fragile Speedster - Kinda. His attacks are very fast and frequent, however he has the lowest toughness of any character I've seen on the site (2, standard human)
Glass Cannon - If he can focus every one of those attacks on a single target, and if all of them hit, that guy is dropping. However, he is, again, really physically weak
Weak But Skilled - He could probably beat most people here, but again.....
Gradual Grinder - Slight aversion to Glass Cannon, because not all of those attacks are actually going to land.
Hard Work Hardly Works - His Darkness based powers were innate, his Light based powers were given to him by Kezia.
Healing Hands - Well, he can heal you.
Magic Knight - While not really a knight, still a mage that occasionally fights with a twin bladed scythe
Red Mage - Light and Darkness are typically considered mutually exclusive
Dark Is Not Evil - The power Kabel started with was Darkness, but he's a pretty alright guy...
I Did What I Had To Do - ...but he kills a lot of people, being a vigilante and all. Though it's due to Kezia (And I cant find the trope for that).
Vigilante Man - Vigilante...

And I cant continue this, I cant find anything else, though I know there is more. (Maybe something about the Orphanage and stuff.) And if there is a trope for NEVER FUCKING USED he is it, damn it Slam.

I think Araska may be more of a squishy wizard than a Glass Cannon.

Kabel. I don't have Ara here. Though Kabel is pretty much my favorite character I've made. And he is probably both. Cause the way I see Kabel, he can (potentially) do HUGE amounts of damage.
And I completely forgot about 'Iniuriae'. Now for that...
Involuntary Transformation - Kabel's transformation was controlled by Kezia, now that they are apart, no one controls it.
Karmic Transformation - While Kabel realizes that Iniuriae is kinda necessary for what he does, that doesn't mean he likes it.
And I Must Scream - Mildly. Kabel is aware of everything, but that isn't so bad.
Superpowered Evil Side - Iniuriae is an Avatar of Reverend Kezia. Slam and Viva know why that is a very evil thing.
