It's weird being human again...

Pain followed her to the bed, already undressed down to his boxers so he had no need to undress any further. Slipping under the covers with her, his massive left arm wrapping around her, holding her close. He could barely feel her against his skin, but hell, it was a lot better than nothing. His right hand rested behind his head, his eyes fixed upon the ceiling, slowly blinking as he tried to force himself to sleep. Something he rarely did, being an insomniac kinda sucked, but it had it's upsides. He had a lot on his mind right now, a lot of shit was coming his way. He had to lead an army of heroes into pretty much Hell. Shit, who wouldn't have trouble sleeping? It didn't take nearly as long as usual to fall asleep though, guess he had Scarlet to thank for that...

In the morning Scarlet was glad to find herself awake before Pain. He looked to peaceful asleep. She softly hissed his cheek then slipped out of his arms, grabbing her dressing gown and spare bandages before going to the bathroom to have a shower. When she came out she redressed her chest wound and then brushed her hair, standing only in her underwear. She traced her fingers over the scars she had over her body. She could name each fight...
...Him, Faith, The villians in town, chaos, dad...
She winced, pausing over that one before she traced the half moon shape on her hip silently. It was weird having her body back, sort of lonely but nice to.

She shook off the feeling then tugged on a long sleeved top and then a black long top/ dress thing someone had lent her. She shook out her wet hair then made her way to the kitchen to get some breakfast for them both.
