Never Be Like You (Yofie)

A darkness cascaded from the apex of the great pyramid. Some called it a natural occurrence from the descending sun, but Earth's guardian angel knew differently. Whomever said angel was though, did not actually appear in Egypt. Instead, a winged woman with hair ablaze in the summer's evening took hold atop the great structure. Battle regalia replaced her green runway gown from her past adventure. Her model of virtues would test mettle today, and she would need her body to remain without puncturing from evil.

While en route to find the city of Vatican, Yofie found herself following a different path. The city could wait til later, for now, Yofie needed to track down and destroy the fox creature known to many as 'slut face'. This illusive woman sent Yofie into many fits of burning rage of the literal dimension. Her blade planted deeply into the peak of the pyramid, causing dust to kick up as the block splintered. Pieces crumbled as Yofie tested for of the structure with her boot. "This structure is crumbling. People come to see it, yet the custodians do no work to preserve its validity. The only places of such use are for the gathering of cults."

Both of her wings spread to full glimmering glory. The same gleam crossed over to her blade. Grace did not glide down with Yofie. Instead, a swift ascent met its natural counterpart with Yofie diving towards the ground. A cloud of dirt emerged, breaking against Yofie's wings. Slowly, she unfurled and presented herself in grand majesty. "Who among you worship darkness? Step forward and accept the purging of your soul now. I shall not ask a second time."

No one stepped forward. Yofie knew not if they were cultist with hearts of pure vitriol, but she did know their aim needed some work. "How dare you accost me with liquid of a caramel texturing." The crowd grew more antagonistic towards Yofie, but the angel cared little for their insults. She cared for their repentance. "You all dare mock a heavenly advocate. This clearly means you are all devoid of salvation and must be shown the error of your ways. I will begin bestowing blessings upon you by burning away-"

A sudden outburst broke the attention of the crowd. Yofie continued her statements without the attention her resolution required. The fault of her unrepentant audience did not fall entirely on their shoulders. A new threat stepped up to draw the ire from the fire. "How dare you threaten me! I will show you the error of your erroneous thought process!" Both of Yofie's wings extended into full glory. One full swing of Yofie's blade lunged out in an attempt to summon flames to thwart her enemies.

No flames came out. Another swipe brought the blade down. Yofie turned her gaze up. No flames shot from her wings. "Your darkness must be finding a way to sever me from my righteous fire. Another reason I should end your vile existence. Time to feel the burden of darkness sliced in twain from your soul!"

Pointing a good at an angel definitely would buy you some time in a very heated location, unfortunately for Yofie, she could not make that place heated. She could swing a rather large sword with terrifying implications though. As she lifted the blade above her head, a shockwave launched through the area, knocking her to the ground.

A smaller girl with sunglasses stepped forward and spoke to the criminal with many confusing words. "That sounds like sass!" Yofie stepped forward and pointed her sword at Tyuki. "How dare you deliver such dangerous attitude in this vicinity." Between increased hostilities and a short attention span, Yofie found nothing more fitting than to deliver a strike to Tyuki. However, her need for retribution against the criminals with the tiny gun also stood for a cleansing.

"You there with the black coverings over your eyes." Her sword pointed towards Tyuki. "Should you repent for your dire attitude and remove your coverings of darkness, I will offer you salvation. You-"

Before her sword could manage to point over to the gang, the woman of the group took advantage of the monologuing angel by striking her in the back of the head. Yofie plummeted to the sand, sending her sword flying towards Tyuki. Grains of sand seeped in between the crevices of Yofie's fingers. "A man told me this substance does not come out easily. I thought him a liar and swore to reveal his treachery. For your sake, you should hope I am correct."

Yofie grabbed the hand of the aggressive woman. While Yofie could use fire and steel to forge righteousness, her hand to hand skills without a blade lacked any form at all. The woman with sunglasses flipped Yofie on her back, placing her foot on the angel's neck to keep her down. While Yofie kept a hard gaze on the villain above her, she spotted a translucent transformation.

Splendid wings shot out from the girl filled with attitude. With a wonderful grace, Tyuki floated to the ground, unfurling her wings and granting advice about not eating sand. The mere appearance of the celestial pushed the woman off of Yofie, granting Yofie enough room to grab on to the hand from the smaller girl. "You are some oddity of angel yourself, but with attitude? Are you a southern angel or perhaps from one of the-" Tyuki's spin broke out before Yofie could finish her words.

Grasping onto the brilliant blade, Yofie extended her wings to take advantage of the momentum. Her blade shot forth, knocking the shrink ray from the man's hand. Both of Yofie's majestic wings embraced the breeze crossing through the monuments, gently touching upon her wings. She kept her sword locked in her grip as her arm locked behind her back with one hand balancing her in the sand.

"Paragons of Justice?" Yofie turned back to watch her smaller companion run off like a child hiding from her parents. "Why should we run from them when we- you must be a villain!" Her grip tightened around her blade, flushing the blood from her knuckles. A flush of her wings pressed her wings into the air without the molting of a single feather. "Excuse, me. I will return with this young acolyte of darkness."

Tyuki felt running would take her away. She also felt informing Yofie of her intentions would protect. She deserved what would come next.

The justicar angel flew to try and catch up with Tyuki. Once within her grasp, Yofie would lift the popstar and begin to make her ascent to the top of the pyramid. "I will now judge whether you are a lost soul or merely a malevolent insurgent of darkness. I will start by asking you a simple question no one with a vile heart could ever deceive me on. Are you evil." Yofie tightened the grip on her sword.

"How dare you accost me such attitude!" Yofie choked her grip around her blade. Clearly this woman needed some guidance and only one celestial being could deliver it. "Why would I ever hide who I am? The world can only find justice and salvation through the example I exemplify to the world. Wickedness dwells in complacency." Yofie extended her wings into apex formation encircling the sun. "How dare you cower in the face of evil. Don't you know only true courage can exist in such dire circumstances."

Tyuki continued her odyssey to the harsh gaze and crystal eyes of Yofie. "You are a thrall of evil? How is that so? You were once an angel, but wickedness overcame you and corrupted your spirit?" Yofie felt a feeling in her gut. It was a feeling of judgment, but it sparred Tyuki from justice. She needed vengeance, but not of a physical kind. Yofie lowered her sword and put her hand on Tyuki's shoulder. "You understand there are things worse than death evil can bestow. You are worth saving. And you can only be saved by saving the world. Your world."

The sun broke just over Yofie's shoulder, painting the angel in an even more pristine light. "I am Yofie, Tyuki Gold. I will not call you Eclipse as I am sure the name was bestowed upon you by some manner of darkness in which you escaped."

"I do not know who 'grape' is, but they are nothing to fear. They most likely tremble in the presence of you more than you fear them. You are a warm soul- but filled with such turmoil." Yofie lowered her arms. Even as the wind picked up, Yofie stayed strong. "Typically I see those who succumb to fear as needing of purification, but maybe strength can be found not in approaching the edge of fear, but continuing to persevere."

Yofie looked down from atop the pyramid. "I don't know why someone would laugh at the concept of death- you must have troubles that go far beyond your mere appearance- but, if someone would wish death to you, they are no friend." The police surrounded the dispatched criminals, beginning to take them into custody. "Do not worry Gold. You do not make me sad at all."

The spread of Yofie's wings eclipsed the sun- but if told that is what she did, the conviction from Yofie would be dire. "Your wings Gold. Do they work? You are not some imposter; you are a soul. Time for you to fly Gold."
