History:

A distant realm of light and sound celebrated Yofie for her brilliance as a soothing soul of music. It would not save the realm.

A child of light birthed from the creation of a beautiful work of music from a grand archangel, Yofie continued in the workings of her inceptor, or as her adopted world would call her, 'Mother'. Her time of inception would be peaceful until the tears with an opposing realm of silence would seep through the lands.

Unknown to the angelic beings inhabiting the world, the corruption seeped deep into the roots of the world on the same day of Yofie's birth, etching part of its darkness within her. It laid dormant in her, causing her music to play with some dissonance and melancholy showing up in her work. The realm celebrated the diversity of her music until the dissonance planted in her soul eventually came to them all.

Once the darkness awakened, the realm plunged into a war against eternal shadow, losing the entirety of its inhabitants within a matter of hours. All, but the one with the sliver of shadow in her soul. Knowing her time within the doomed realm had come to an end, an empty armory awaited her. Knowing the darkness could not be defeated by her on that day, she would fight another day with a full suit of armor and a sword seeking vengeance. But she needed a new battlefield, a new world, so Yofie left her realm through the use of a gateway linking her realm to a massive portal system.

When Yofie emerged, New York City greeted her. A twisted and destroyed city full of greed and evil. Yofie struck down the vampire, the demon, the wraith, any creature of darkness befalling innocents. A righteous fury convicted her. And blinded her.

The Powers and Weaknesses

Powers

Power 1:

Darkened Soul- Yofie can sense demons, vampires, wraiths, devils, and any magician or manipulator of darkness

Weakness

Darkened Soul- Yofie has a great weakness outside of her armor against darkness. She also, risks temptation from darkness.

Power 2:

Fiery Sword- The blade taken by Yofie on the day of cataclysm thirsts for vengeance against darkness. When used against a creature without any darkness within them, the blade will stay dormant. Against any creature embracing darkness, the sword will allow Yofie to imbue her flames into it and channel and her powers through it.

Weakness

Containing darkness herself, the blade does not trust Yofie and will only help her if it sees her as the lesser of two evils. It longs for someone with a more pure heart to take possession of it and communicates such thoughts through Yofie's dreams.

Rejoice- Yofie can lift the spirits of those around her with her voice. Her singing even contains enough pleasing notes to it to soothe enemies around her.

She cannot sing if exhausted with combat, rendered unable to speak, or underwater.

Burning Righteousness- Yofie can unleash a destructive revelry of flame against her enemies through pillars or balls of fire.

Platinum Armor- Yofie's armor protects her from physical damage along with a shielding from dark magic. If facing a creature of darkness, Yufie can channel her fire into her armor to turn her best defense into a strong offense.

Flight- Angelic wings give Yofie what she needs to fly. Her wings can hide under armor or clothing and reappear when needed.

Weakness

If her wings are damaged or restrained, she cannot fly.

Convicted- Yofie seeks to rid the world of darkness. She puts justice against darkness over everything including safety of those around her and coming up with a plan.

Poor planner- Yofie merely tries to destroy her enemies with her angelic properties, not with any kind of tactics.
