The tomb of Bastet.[Killian and Adam]

Killian groaned, tightening his head scarf as he trekked through the deep sand. The sun had gone down recently, causing the temperatures to drop excessively. "I honestly hope this crown is worth it." A bleep echoed as he let his finger off of the walkie talkie button. The lone wolf made his way to the top of the dune, looking down a massive hole in the ground. His eyes adjusted, allowing him to peer down the cavern with ease. "Found it, over here." He drew his cane sword, and slipped out his pistol, as he began to slide down the dune into the hole. As dust turned to stone, a foot dug into the hard floor. Killian stood straight up, looking for his vampire friend. "Stop fucking around.." He growled, keeping an eye on the sky "You know the government doesn't want us here. They already threatened us at the airport."

Killian tapped the large tomb seal with his blade, putting his gun away, and rubbing his beard with the free hand. He could see the symbols, claiming of curses and riches, and terrible creatures.

Egypt was never a place that Adam expected to go at some point and yet here he was in the normally sun scorched land. Ho, arid winds blowed against him but felt tame against skin that barely felt even sensation. He was dressed not too differently than normal, in black lather jacket with a white shirt and jeans tucked into well worn boots. They had seen some walking within his time, since the 90’s even. Sand crunched under his feet, shifting ever to the flow of the desert as he eventually came to the spot they would be meeting. Following the scent of wolf that stood out amidst the bake sand and what he assumed was a snake slithering through the quickly cooling grains.

”As if I care about what governments say anyway. They’re all temporary.” Adam noted, cresting over the dune and sliding down until he was only a good three or so feet from him with hands buried into his pockets. The seals spoke of curses, riches and everything in between but then again he knew it was nothing more than the vain cursing of an ancient people. ”So why don’t we get to work on cracking this baby open?” He knelt down, letting fingers dig int between a little crack and with some effort forced the place open itself. This way would have been impossible for a human to open, but a being of his strength would find whatever kept it closed easy enough to open.

”So, what got you suddenly interested in cave delving?”

Killian watched the door open up with ease, glaring at Adam "I had it handled, just making sure there were no curses." As he peered into the cave, he felt a magical energy rush over him, almost like a roar "Speaking of which, did you feel that?" The wolf made his way in, eyes perfectly adjusted for the lack of light. He sniffed the air, getting hints of stagnant water, embalming fluid, and..mercury. The last bit confused him, but regardless he made his way down the stairs. "Powerful items that not even my company could manufacture." He snorted "That's what got me into cave dwelling."

His eyes were fixated on the walls, as carvings grew more and more eerie. "Egyptians sure did love their cats..didn't they? The walls keep speaking of a cat god and yada yada." The ground flattened out, as they entered a tunnel, just wide enough for them to walk side by side. "In the cinema, this would be the moment for a boulder, or some weird demons to come out."
