Ice Queen Starts A Riot...

"In three. Two. One." Adrian said, a wall of ice appearing on the other side of the road. He had seen the other man down there, and knew that he had powers. If he was a hero, then all was good. If he wasn't he would die. As simple as that. Adrian shook his head to rid of excess water and the wall shifted forward moving everything in its path with it. "Please keep your hands and feet inside the giant block of ice at all times." He said, more to himself than anyone else. As the ice got closer, Adrian got a better look at the man. he looked about Adrian's age, with a tight shirt and jeans. He had a creepy feeling that something wasn't right about this guy. Something about his was just, bad luck.

At first Andrew was shocked but when he realized the man next to the girl he was admiring was clearly behind the act he crossed his arms and smirked. "Great" he whispered to himself. Once across the street he moved away from the block of ice and tossed the apple in the air and caught it again before shoving it, along with his hand into his hoody pocket. "That was cute, but what was the point of all of that" he said as he pushed his hair out of his face and waited for a response, Andrew was quick to annoy but not necessarily to anger.

Becca didn't quite understand why he had attacked him out of nowhere, he hadn't really done anything wrong, heroes were kind of strange she thought, she wondered if her father was the same way. She simply shrugged and stood there, crossing her arms and waiting for them to do what ever it is that they planned to do. Let the boys fight over her, it didn't bother her one bit, she leaned against the wall and relaxed. "Go ahead boys..."

"Well to be honest, I couldn't think of a better way to get your attention. I just wanted to talk, and I though impaling you with a spike of ice would be overkill." Adrian said in a way that could be either joking or perfectly serious. "I'm Mike, you are?" he asked, extending a hand. Adrian didn't know why he gave a fake name, he just didn't feel like giving anything to this guy. He sent shivers up his spine and gave him goosebumps. Somethings wrong with this guy. he thought

"Spikes? For what reason" he said with a cunning smile. "I am Andrew Brink, master of bad luck" he said as he looked at the man with a mischievous look. "Mike what? Did your parents give you a last name" he asked almost uncaring he glanced at the girl, clearly wanting to be meeting her. Andrew didn't extend his hand he wasn't a man of pleasantries, and wasn't going to start with a man he just met.

Becca closed both her eyes, relaxing against the wall while the boys spoke and had their introductions, they weren't exactly pleasant with one another, Adrian didn't even give a real name. She gave a weak smirk when he gave the fake name, he wasn't very trusting unless it was a pretty girl he could sleep with huh? Well, that was putting it a bit harshly, she guessed it would be easier to trust a pretty girl before a strange new guy, well for him at least.

Becca opened one eye to see the new guy giving her looks again, he was obviously interested, they both were. Two cute and fit guys with super powers who want her? Seemed like a teenage girls dream, though she wouldn't freak like some fan girl, she'd keep her cool and simply shake her head at smirk a the two of them, closing her eyes once again and waiting for them to get bold enough to say something to her.

Adrian lost it. "You want to talk to me about parents? Really? My mother was kidnapped off the streets to take in an experiment. Me. I was the fucking experiment. They extracted my 'fathers' DNA, and found the perfect woman with which to birth the perfect child. I'm sorry if after 7 years in a hell hole getting poked and prodded like some bad piece of fish that I didn't come up with a more creative name. My bad." Adrian told him off.

Parenting was always a soft topic for him. HE still hated the scientists, though he killed them all. They had ruined his life. Ruined all hope in his life. And the sad thing was, they were as close to a father as Adrian had. He took a couple deep breaths and leaned his head back, looking at the scattered clouds. This always seemed to calm him, knowing that there was something else out there that could guide him. Something bigger than all of them.

"Sorry man, that's a soft subject. I'd like to take this opportunity to tell you to never bring it up again or i will slowly freeze the atoms in your body, one by one. No matter how long it takes. And you will feel the agony and the pain and the torture. And you will regret ever bringing it up. Ok?" Adrian asked, all humor gone from his voice. "That goes for you too cutie." he said, swiveling his head to face the girl

Andrew merely smirked, he really didn't care. "Whatever dude" he said as his smirk faded. "So what is you lady friend's name" he asked her more that the guy. He shook his head as he relived the man's outburst. "Parents" he murmured remembering his own, and how they gave him up.

Becca was a bit startled to see Adrian explode, well if that was his real name, she couldn't be sure since he had just given out a fake one, so maybe Adrian was a fake name too? She just looked away ignoring what was happening and letting the two of them continue, waiting to be acknowledged. She heard 'cutie', then not soon after it the other guy asked for her name, these guys thought they were slick huh? Losers, cute losers, but still losers. She smirked flirtatiously, not really directing it at either of them. "My name is something you boys will have to work a little harder for..."

Adrian was getting real sick of this shit, real fast. He needed some down time. Some time just to cool off. Some alone time. ANd it was obvious that he wasn't going to get it standing around, even next to one of the hottest chicks he had ever seen. "I'm out" He announced, walking away slowly. He tried not to make a show of it, but his wing accidntly swung towards the womans face, he felt an impact, but it may have not been it. Either way, Adrian didn't care. A small sloud appeared above his head and it started storming. Fucking great. he thought, I cant even control my own powers. god damn scientists. he punched a random brick wall out of anger, watching it break. It was very satisfying to his eyes to see the building fall to the ground. But he immediately felt bad. There were innocent people in there. They could be harmed. No, i'm not doing this shit now. he thought, just fixing the wall with ice and continuing walking

"See ya" Andrew said with a smirk as a woman ran out of the building on fire. "Hmm she must have some shitty luck" he said with his normal mischievous grin. "So I have to work for your name huh?" he asked ignoring the burning woman that ran down the sidewalk. "What did you have in mind that would allow me to gain access to such a privilege" he said sarcastically and bowing in a joking manner. Andrew snapped his fingers and as the woman ran down the sidewalk a bolt off of a fire hydrant sprayed her and launched her into a wall. At least I put her out he thought to himself with a small smirk.

Becca's eyes followed Adrian has he stormed off, she was a bit worried about him, he seemed really upset, maybe she should go talk to him, or maybe she should just let him blow off some steam. But then this might be the last time she ever saw him! That would kind of suck, he would have been perfect for her group, a cute guy with great powers, he was pretty cool too, well so far. This new guy didn't seem so bad either, he was definitely just as good looking, his powers were odd, she didn't quite understand or know them very well yet.

She wanted the two of them to get along, they seemed like they would make good friends, call it a girl's intuition. Maybe after Adrian cooled off they could talk again, well, that's if he came back to see her. She didn't really pay attention to anything else, just busy thinking, not even noticing the woman on fire. She snapped out of her deep thoughts when she heard Andrew's voice, though it wasn't until mid-way through his sentence, her head turning to him. "Oh...I'm sorry what?" Her apel cheeks became a bit pinkish, she felt embarrassed that she hadn't been paying attention, and kind of felt bad, fixing herself and speaking up again. "Well, for one, prove you're a cool and trustworthy guy. I just don't give my name out to strangers ya know?"

"I respect that." he said as he brushed the hair out of his face. "Well let's go get some food together then, get to know each other" he said half doubting his pathetic attempt at a pick up would even work, his eyes blinked and his hair ruffled in the wind as he finished his sentence. Andrew placed his hands in his pockets trying to keep out some of the wind as he glanced back catching the last bit of Adrian before he disappeared from his sight. "You think he will come back?" he asked almost forgetting his initial question.

Rebbecca's bright blue eyes widened, then blinked a couple times back to normal. "Um...okay.." She had just met this guy and he was already offering to buy her something to eat? Well that's pretty awesome! She get's a free meal and get's to hang out with a mysterious and handsome super powered guy. She just didn't really expect it, it wasn't everyday this happened to her, running into two hot super powered guys in one night? Too cool.

Becca's eyes moved back over to Adrian as he walked further away, she felt really bad for some reason, she just didn't want him to be upset she guessed. Her eyes then moved back to Andrew, "I'm not sure...He looked, pretty mad...Ya know, he seemed pretty cool, I think you'd two get along if you just stopped being such boneheads..." She said with a smirk.

Adrian stopped halfway down the street and just thought. He flew up in the air, to high for most people to instantly see, and he thought about what had happened. He probably over reacted, and he now realized that. It wasn't their fault that he was tortured. Or was what he was now. Adrian had though that he had came to terms with himself, but he obviously hadn't. He took a couple of deep breaths and flew back towards the woman. he wasn't going to pester her for anything, just talk. The other guy seemed ok, but something about him just set Adrian off.

Eventually, about halfway back, Adrian started to think about this entrance. After a couple of scrapped thoughts, he had it. Flying over the row of buildings, he landed on the streets. Perfect He thought, grabbing a leather jacket off the ground. It was a tight squeeze, but he managed to tuck his wings n. It was a perfect fit too, just small enough to show the little amount of muscle that he had off perfectly. Adrian gave a smirk of satisfaction as he sprinted down the end of the street, with human capabilities. He fallowed the road to where he knew it ended, and grabbed what was at the end.

After carrying his cargo back to the street that the woman was on, Adrian ran faster than the human eye could fallow behind the woman. "Here you go." he said, handing her the flowers that he picked. It may have been corny and shit, but Adrian didn't really care. He felt like he may have gotten in the womans bad books, and wanted to get out. The flowers were soft blue roses, arranged in a spiral pattern around several other colors of roses. The people who actually owned them may not be happy in the morning. But who cared about them?

Andrew just smirked with almost pity. "Cool...I guess" he said as he gazed at the roses. This guy doesn't seem too bad, a little corny, but he seems pretty cool he thought to himself as he took his eyes off the roses, he was half tempted to make them wither in his hands, but he was slightly motivated to make this guy not hate him, hell for all he knew it would get him in good with the chick. "Hey man, you wanna catch some grub with us" he offered politely, something Andrew wasn't used to doing, especially with other guys. "Hell, we will even let the girl pick the spot, wadda ya say" he said with a smirk.
