Re: When angels fall (Humanity)
The shot was taken and a bullet would be sent flying. Eyes closing as Humanity sighed. He hadn't missed his mark yet. Unfortunately this means there was a sudden intrusion within the battle between Jordan and Hyperion. Hyperion would likely feel a painful crack in the base of his neck as a bullet shredded through even the toughest flesh and tried to escape out the other side. He didn't want to miss his target this time, of all times. Something was riding on this shot.
Regardless the outcome, he had hoped that Jordan's blow was nothing more than excess damages to a soon-to-be corpse. Beating the dead horse just a little more before it died. Somehow, in some way he had hoped that the guilt of another's life fell on his hands rather than Jordan's. With a simple sigh he didn't bother to watch as he quickly dismantled his scepter and returned to his bike. With an almost silent reving, the bike tore off into the night, as Humanity headed home... maybe he'd hear from Jordan...maybe not...who knew anymore.

Re: When angels fall (Humanity)
Jordan pressed a palm against the blood spurting from his side, the weapon that was wedged within it seeming to pull itself out and return to Hyperion. Something told him this was the end and yet even now he couldn’t give up, not when so much was on his shoulders. That was when the shot rang out, Hyperion’s grip on the weapon growing lax as it clattered to the ground. Thick black blood spalshed across his face as their expression twisted into one of shock, confusion and hatred. Rather than a pronouncement of their hatred, all they did was release a cough of blood as their body fell uselessly to the ground. He could see the energy trying to gather around the wound, forcing it to heal and yet that did not seem like it was working as well as they would hope. ”Well...go on then.” They managed in a rather haggard voice, any movement made looking to be a trial. ”I don’t need that...worthless pity.” Each pause was punctuated by a cough, producing more of the blood.
For a moment their eyes met, Jordan forcing himself to his feet. He had no real choice now, as much as he would have liked things to go another way. With the least vestiges of strength available to him, Jordan thrust the weapon forward as it sunk through the constructs heart. Brilliant cracks began to form from the contact point, spreading outwards with audible sounds. Any blood that rushed from the wound rapidly turned into an acrid smoke that rise from the point of impact. ”Well..ya beat me. I mean...even if you needed a little help to do it.” They sounded almost amused by the prospect of it. ”Don’t expect any kind of...deep last words from me though. Just….don’t fuck up/” Their body all within an instant broke apart, and then like ashes scattered.
”Okay, that was a little anticlimactic.” Jordan said with a sigh, falling face first against the concrete. Everything felt so heavy, honestly he wasn’t sure if he would be able to survive any longer with all this damage done. Quickly consciousness slipped away from there.
The next time he woke up, it was in a bed of some kind, thick blankets covering him. Sleep had been dreamless, making the actual passing of time even more unknown. ”Well, look who’s finally awake.” The voice was familiar and yet the condescending tone itself was not. The soft glow of a lamp was cast across the room, slightly irritating his eyes as they focused upon the figure sitting with legs crossed, eyes focused on him. ”Thought you’d die too but I guess you’re not that easy to kill.” Jordan would attempt to sit up, a sharp pain lancing through his side. All it took was a look down to see the bandages wrapped around his side, a small amount of a dark color soaking into them. ”Yeah, couldn’t heal your wounds for...some reason. So you might have to let those fix themselves on their own.”
Jordan sighed, letting himself fall back down into the bed. ”So..where am I?”
”Shael and Fera’s place. Fera offered to put the important things released by Hyperion’s death where they belong.” Michael explained, leaning forward and interlacing his fingers. ”but right now we’re at a fork in the road. I feel like we had this conversation before, though your answer was pretty inconclusive then. You could return to being one part of the whole, but...well…. I have to ask you something. Will doing this really make you happy, or are you just doing this out of some self given obligation?” They would ask, gaze boring into Jordan. ”Because if that’s the only reason, then it’s a really really stupid one and...I don’t exactly want your stupid bringing me down.” Jordan could hear that they were joking with him.
”Are..you..rejecting me?”
”Sorta.” They shrugged. ”I sorta like having the good in me out here, where it can flourish. Rather than in me, where it will probably wither and die should something vaguely terrible happen.” Well, their logic wasn’t fully flawed. ”I know this probably goes against your nature, but worry about your own happiness for once. Anyway, I have places to be and well...you’ll probably have things too, so rest up. Cellphones by the bed, if you ever...I dunno..feel like calling someone.” He noted, standing up and patting Jordan on the head before leaving the room.
Jordan ended up staring at the ceiling, brows furrowing as he thought to himself. It was upon shifting that he noted a warm mass of fur laying against him, likely Shael if he knew anything about them. Their breathing changed for a moment before getting regular once again. Closing his eyes Jordan drifted off to sleep, eventually managing to pull himself from the fatigue overwhelming him. Drowsily he reached around, finding his phone on a nightstand next to him and turning it on. The date itself proved that...well it had been around four days since then. Pressing the call button after finding the contact, he pressed the phone to his ear, wincing away the pain of his injuries.
”Matt...” He started his voice sounding somewhat hoarse from disuse. ”I know it’s probably been...a little too long since we last talked but I want to talk with you. If you’re not too busy.” Jordan forced himself to sit on the edge of the bed, looking to see a set of clothes already prepared for him.

Re: When angels fall (Humanity)
- Spoiler:
- It had been four days before he had heard back from Jordan. To be honest those four days were the darkest days of his life. Not because of Jordan or what had happened...but because of the things he had done. Horrible, unspeakable things. More blood was spilled in the past 96 hours than he had spilled in a lifetime career as a vigilante. Well, as short as his lifetime was.
The damp basement as dark as it was. Sitting in a chair, tied head downcast as a small pool of blood had dried beneath him. The corners of their mouth had dried blood in contrast to their pale skin. The signs of blood loss had been obvious, though alone in the dark for five days and the torture subject of the Homicidal Humanity tended to take it's toll. The silence of the darkness was broken by a curious hum. The hum made the young man tremble, his mouth cringing as he feared what was to come next.
"...Look. I know that a... THING like me doesn't understand the concept of remorse... but for what it's worth it isn't actually enjoyable to do this to you." Humanity's voice carried throughout the basement, the noise bouncing and echoing through the empty space. The captive was breathing shakily, unsure of where exactly Humanity was, though that was addressed quite soon. Humanity made himself known as he stepped from the shadows, dragging a chair with him. Spinning the chair around Humanity sat with his chest against the back of the chair, leaning over as he peered through his glasses at his captive. Shaggy brown hair barely concealing cringing indigo eyes. Humanity just cocked his head to the side, studying the strange Silus for a moment with an almost sympathetic expression. He reached out, ignoring the initial flinching of Silus to move some damp, matted hair, the stickiness of blood apparent. "Ouch...I got you good there, huh?"
"H-H-How did you know?" He asked, still cold and shuddering. Humanity just ignored it for a moment and took in a beep breath.
"Well if your taunting me wasn't apparent enough..." He said with a snide drawl before calming himself and bringing his head back up to an upright position. "It was how you looked at me...that look in your eyes it wasn't like his..." Humanity reached over and began to pat his peer on the cheek with a small smile. He figured he'd have to explain, the curious look on his captives' face only reinforcing that.
"Sure, at first I was clueless. Thought my God-son just decided to alter himself a bit to come over and have a visit...that was odd, but hey... I love the kid. So I let ya in. We talked and you were a little...well a bit more "playful" than he would be. Especially with me. Okay, maybe he heard a bit too much from one of his family, who cares. They're an odd bunch. But then....You brought up Sin." Humanity began his explanation as his mind drifted back to the time when it all went down. The day just before Jordan's birthday. Silus had knocked on his door with a smile and let himself in. Everything seemed to be fine, the kid was being a little more awkward than usual but...well he explained that all. "Now bringing up Sin is weird. But then that look you gave me. Those big old puppy dog eyes...not that were pleading for anything...but those that were pitying for something. Silus doesn't pity me. He looks up to me. Of course...he might not if he knew about this but...I don't think he's bound to find out." He clarified as he stood from the seat, the chair legs scraping against stone as he slid about, walking around the captive doppelganger.
"Go ahead and kill me...you'll just be proving my point." He said, though Humanity just let a little chuckle out as he began to bring his circle to it's full close. As he finished his walk he stopped and squatted down, looking to the rather battered and withered torture victim.
"THAT! That is a good point. But your reverse psychology won't work on me. I know who you are. I know that you're not OUR Silus. But then this brings us to question as to why are you here...and how do you know so much about me?" The questions were valid, or so he believed. Though the little captive didn't want to answer, and no matter what means of torture he employed, Humanity could not get this kid to talk. "...but even now you still refuse to tell me...why?"
"Because you never asked me...You just demanded an answer and started to poke and prod. To inject and abuse." He replied, swallowing in what seemed to be a bit of fear. Humanity was taken back by this comment, though as he went to contest the statement, he was reminded that it was in fact true. He had been trapped by his anger, by the preceding events to the point it had clouded his judgment. "D-did you ever stop to think?"
"Oh don't play THAT card with me kid. You came into my life and shattered it without any remorse! Don't act a saint." He snarled as his hand came up and grabbed a handful of hair and pulled it up. "There is a bottom line here kiddo. A bottom line that we've hit-"
"Damn right! You don't have to do this! You don't have to be like this!" He snapped, though Humanity just scoffed and released the young man's hair before shaking his head. The Author managed to take a breath before the back of Humanity's hand came across and swatted him in the side of the head. The entire chair was knocked over and was turned onto it's side. The author's head bounced off the ground and his ears filled with ringing.
"I DO have to do this. You MAKE me do this. I don't want to do this but YOU. WON'T. SPEAK!" Humanity snarled as he delivered a kick to his ribcage with every angry word. Cries of pain dying down as he ran his hand through his hair. He walked back to the shadows and placed his back against a wall, letting himself slide down it as he buried his face in his hands. It took everything not to kill this kid.
"You....still haven't asked." He said after a few moments of silence. Frustration and anger swept Humanity's mind, but it was tamed for a moment as the boy spoke again. "I forgive you. I already forgave you. There's nothing you can do I won't forgive you for...but only if it's you. Not Humanity. It's gotta be you."
"Silus...please...." Humanity said as he sighed and leaned his head back. "How did you know? How? When I didn't...how...why do I have memories of a life I never lived!? How could I possibly be someone that never really existed!" He roared as he lashed out, throwing his leg out and smashing it into the ground, only to give him a case of a sore heel. The feeling that he was fake. The feeling that he was a copy, a fraud or a Xerox copy made him so incredibly angry.
"Because you did live them. You...You are the real one." Silus said. Of course that just brought back the entire conversation full circle. Five days ago when this strange version of Silus appeared he began to slowly taunt him and make some comments regarding Silus' new little friend. An enigmatic friend that used the letter N and just so happened to use a cute little rhyming scheme, although that was quite accidental....
Silus had developed a bond with Nihilius, the little creature was nothing less than abominable. The little child was the result of Humanity's encounter with Sin after the events of Yamm. He hunted Zakaken down and fought him. He was so close to delivering a killing blow before the evil was ripped out of him. Nihilus indulged himself in hunting Humanity down, even trying to kill him. The bombs that put him in that coma were in fact Luke's...but didn't anyone ever think to ask what the inciting incident was? Nihilus was behind it all. He even went out of his way to lure out the worst in humanity and then brutally murder them....just as he himself had.
But five days ago this Silus had divulged the fact that he, pretending to be the Silus of this world, and Nihilus were the best of friends now and that Humanity needed to back away from his crucade to purge the world of his sin clone. Humanity went ot wash his face in the restroom and this person followed him. The now unwelcomed guest then threw in the fact he had to simply "get over it" that he was a sin clone...something the real Silus wouldn't have known. Humanity did not take well to that as he took Silus by the collar, now realizing it was not exactly "HIS" Silus and threatened him. He vowed that he would kill the little bastard, if it was the last thing he did. But that's when something interesting happened.
"Isn't it kinda funny? I mean Ni knows you're alive and he's fine with that as long as you keep away. But you? You're always trying to get him. Always tryin' to kill him. Dreaming up ways to kill him. Isn't that...I dunno...Kinda something a Sin clone does?" Humanity was instantly taken back by it, but the accusation made his blood flow as he was consumed in anger. The hostage then reached up and closed the medicine cabinet and pointed to Humanity's reflection. Humanity looked over, and in his rage he realized that his eyes were now glowing red....just like a Sin clone's. "So before you start judging him the clone...you might wanna look in the mirror."
Humanity's response was less than accepting. He bashed the boy's head off a mirror and drug him in the basement. He tortured him almost endlessly for the past five days.
And now he was just told that he wasn't the clone....
"...what?" He asked, the sudden revelation mixing his tones between shocked, annoyed and somehow grateful.
"...Every clone made by sin has a choice. Red Tide's made a choice. Nihilus made a choice." This kid was making sense for the first time, but that just pissed Humanity off even more.
"But why did you wait this fucking long to tell me you dumb shit!? Did you get some sort of masochistic streak from it?" He asked though immediately the author just laughed and shook his head before lamely just letting himself relax.
"Because...you forgot that Hyperion was a sin clone...and now....now you know. You'll remember." He said the second after Humanity's phone started to ring. Humanity looked down to it and saw it was Jordan, immediately he hesitated. "I won't say anything...promise." Humanity had no reason not to trust him, if not only to be concerned by his apparent tendencies to get himself hurt. Though Humanity was greeted with a mouthful of words from Jordan at the other end.
"J-Jordan. Uhm. I don't...uh. Sure. I'll stop over shortly. I have something to take care of real quick." He said before hanging up the phone. Once he did he angrily threw it across the room.
"Wow...you're a hard one to please." the captive jested as he groaned from the gashes in his side and the probability of several broken ribs. Humanity just snarled and began to pace back and forth. There were a dozen things flying through his mind.
"...Because look at me. He my friend. You're my friend and look at what I did to you....just for being honest." He said as he began to pace back and forth, slipping in and out of darkness from the author's sights. Though he began to mumble and mutter he suddenly shouted out a loud "Wait!" Quickly bringing himself back to his captive he placed his hands on either side of the chair where the author's arms were strapped.
"You can stop this..."
"I can't just save you from this. Just like your Silus couldn't save Lucius. We lead the horse to water-"
"I don't mean save me. So long to that redemption. It's too far, too far." He grumbled as he waved the concept off with a hand. "You need to save THEM. Save him. Save you. From me, from Nihilus and from everything that I-I can't do that....you mean too much to them. Writing you out would change too much." Humanity groaned before he began to rub his skull. The Author mused a moment before the ropes suddenly unraveled from around him and slowly his wounds sealed.
"Well, look. Here's all I'm gonna say Matty. You know the right thing to do. So do it. Whatever the future has in store is something you'll have to deal with. But for now..just do what you think is right... " Humanity turned around, cringing at the name he was called but smiling with a slight bittersweet feeling. When his eyes took in the fully recovered form of his now freed captive he was slack jawed. Of course the captive walked up and placed a hand on his shoulder, causing him to enter a state of slight panic. "Hah! Don't act so surprised. You think I came over here not anticipating this? I love you man, but you're a psycho." He said with an ear to ear grin and walking past towards the exit.
"Why would you go through all of the trouble of telling me everything you told me...who I am. Who I'm going to become?" Matthew asked but shook his head left to right. Something wasn't making any sense. "But you won't tell me where you came from or...or even help me..." He seemed more lost and enamored with the fact that he was so helpless here. That rather....fascinated him actually. One would have thought it made him angry. Truthfully it did arouse his ire, but that paled in comparison to the other things that captivated the grand scheme of things.
"Because in this little book... you're my favorite character. You were so relatable. A good guy that had a bad day. The days are just gonna get worse. You're not going to be you forever...and as an Author I need to let the story take it's toll. But I'm gonna tell you the same thing...that you told me, once upon a time..." Silus said with a smile, a slight twinkle in his eye as he looked at Humanity. The look as like looking at your best friend, the look like you were just so full of hope. He looked less like a sociopathic author and more like himself. "A character isn't interesting because they can overcome others. They're interesting because they can overcome themselves. Given the chance, almost anybody can change their fate...even if they have to travel through the heart of madness to do it." He smirked and shrugged.
"Besides....I know you would have done it for me." Of course typical Silus left in a heartbeat, leaving Humanity in the dark room to contemplate that last question above all other things. Maybe that was something he needed to find the answer to himself...
Humanity had taken the time to prepare his house a little after telling Jordan that he could come over whenever he was ready. He just needed to avoid teleporting in. He had gotten Jordan's gift and held it in his hands. He had to think about this very carefully. What he was going to do wasn't something he ever thought he would do. It wasn't anything he ever had thought would work.
He opened Jordan's present and looked at it a moment, retreating to the infamous junk room to get out wrapping paper as he took Jordan's gift for a moment in his hands and inspected it. No flaws. No blemishes. It was the perfect one. But he had to give it over, was the problem. Humanity looked to the little card that was a printed out explanation of what the gift was....
Closing his eyes he shook his head...

Re: When angels fall (Humanity)
Jordan managed to get out of his bed slowly, feeling sharp pains throughout his abdomen with each attempt to move. ”The things you do for love.” He sighed, feeling over the bandage that was soaking slightly with a dark red color. Well, not like he’d die from a little blood loss, so he should be okay to see Matt for a small while. Slipping into the clothes, which was pretty uncomfortable, however it was something he could get over. Once dressed up, Jordan left the little room holding him meeting with what looked to be Shael in the form of a small wolf, looking up to him almost...sadly. They licked wetly at his palm, nestling against it for a moment before choosing to walk beside him ”Sorry little guy, gotta go alone.” He said with a sigh, patting them on the head before walking past him. They whined softly, trailing after him only until he reached the doorway.
”Are you sure you’re in any shape to go anywhere” Fera would ask, leaning against a wall with a single raised brow, looking more worried than anything else. Jordan found himself confused by that, something that showed in his expression. ”I’m sure Matt won’t be too happy if you pass out at the wheel and end up killing yourself in some grand crash.” She noted, suggesting likely to drive him without even actually suggesting it. Fera had a way of working and once one understood, well then they would likely see her as more than the cold bitch she tried to act like.
”I look that bad?” he asked, offering a weak smile as she produced a compact and turned the reflective surface to where he could see himself. His face was bandaged mostly around the forehead and all he had to do was look down to see the some manner of splint thing around his leg.
”I don’t know what he did to you, but healing magic just won’t work. We tried everything we had, and well. At best all we could do was keep you from dying.”
His mind snapped back to the strange weapon, one that...well likely didn’t last long after he passed out. Jordan reached to feel the necklace which was still there, emanating a warm glow. ”Not so sure I can even drive either.” He admitted with a sigh, lamenting his lacking physical condition. ”but I have more than just driving to rely on.” He then added, suddenly remembering that he could fly.
”Oh yes, because that will help you.” She added with a roll of her eyes, running her index finger over a strange marking on the back of her hand. It released a faint light as she rested a hand on his shoulder, and within a second they were elsewhere, the familiar location being in front of his friends little home, or apartment.
It was one of the two anyway. Fera gave him a small wave, before teleporting out. With the hardest part done, he made his way to the door and gave it a knock, reminded of when he had done this only days ago. He would wait until they answered, offering them the best smile he could muster.
”Sorry for taking so long to get in touch. I guess you can see I don’t exactly look...well...in the best shape.” He said, resting himself against the threshold of the door to keep himself from doing any stumbling.

"Yeah, sure. It's fine man. You look like Hell. Ha a bit more of a fight in ya than you thought, huh?" He joked a moment as he ushered Jordan into the house. Once Jordan was in he closed the door and helped him over to a place to sit. With there he gave a heavy sigh and shook his head, though a smile was quite clearly present on his face. "So uh...what's on your mind? Can't imagine you just stopped by in this condition for nothin'." He said, wagering his case. It was a good idea for him, and for Jordan to get closure before what happened next. Especially for Humanity. It was a chance to lay the demons to rest, to keep something knocked down for now and forever. But Jordan was first, he needed to resolve this little conflict.

Re: When angels fall (Humanity)
”Had one hell of a fight but I pulled through. Guess that’s a little obvious though, right?” He started with a smirk, though ended with a soft sigh. He hadn’t ever felt this drained, and yet here he was standing with a strength that...well didn’t feel all too possible. They would let him in and so Jordan accepted the invitation, entering as his eyes quickly took everything in around him. Matt would help him in, guiding him to a place where he could sit so he could go from there. Upon sitting down, he sunk into the seat as if just being able to get off his feet was a relief within itself.
”Yeah, you’re not wrong.” He admitted with a sigh. Just giving them a glance as his mind snapped back to that day, when Hyperion had been pulled from him. It had been a day that was loaded with its far share of emotional turmoil, dealing with the possibility of someone he cared about being dead as well as just Hyperion. Jordan gripped his fore arm, feeling his fingers dug in through the sleeves as he grasped for the words. There was a reason and yet he could not grasp onto what that was. His eyes averted to the floor for a bit, before snapping back to him.
”I wanted to talk to you, with you about a few things that have been on my mind for a while. Ever since my incident with Sin.” He began, trying to formulate it just right. For some reason, finding the right words felt impossible now of all times, and yet he felt as if he had to come up with them without a second of reprieve. ”No, even further back than that. I had lost...faith within myself.” He sighed, tinkering with the green gem hanging around his neck. ”If I couldn’t even help myself, how could I help the people that mattered to me? I didn’t believe that I deserved to be happy, that I was….that everyone would be better off if I stopped existing. It’s weird that it takes a conversation with yourself to make you realize how stupid that really is.” He chuckled softly, lifting the necklace around his neck and letting the gem, as well as the cord holding it settle into his palm.
”I wanted to tell you that...i’m not going anywhere. Could’ve probably said that over the phone but it felt like something that needed to be said in person.” Reaching with a free hand, he weakly tugged at their wrist trying to turn it into a palm upwards position before letting the necklace into their hand. ”I also wanted you to have that.”

Re: When angels fall (Humanity)
A little voice in the back of his head mused about if he would fin the necklace edible, of course he wanted to immediately eat it, though that urge was fought off as he looked at it. He smiled and shook his head before sighing. He pushed it all to the back of his mind and looked to Jordan. He just couldn't make it easy, could he? But isn't that what he wanted? Maybe, who knew. All he truly knew was that Jordan was a pain in his ass. He chuckled a little and nodded.
"Dude. It's supposed to be me giving YOU the gift." Humanity said as he stood up and walked over, grabbing the little box he had just rewrapped. He sat down net to Jordan and handed it to him. "I...I can't possibly give you a good gift. There's....literally nothing I could...that....I-hmmm... Okay. I don't have many friends. I also don't have many people that I....can trust or rely on. So finding a gift for people like you; especially you. It was hard...so I uh. I gave you the most fitting thing I could think of. Choice." He said, motioning for Jordan to open it. Once he did he wouldn't recognize this likely, but it was something from his adventurous days, the days when Sin was but a voice. It was a beautiful, slightly glowing emerald stone, almost flawless, the natural light giving it it's unique glow.
"That uh...that's the Cintimani stone. It's uh...it's a wish-fulfilling stone that grants wishes of the purest intention. Otherwise it won't work." He said with a smile. "Pretty sure it wouldn't grant any of mine." He chuckled as he waited to gauge Jordan's reaction.

Re: When angels fall (Humanity)
Matt hadn’t denied the small gift, something that visibly pleased Jordan more than anything else. Despite how worn he looked, his face seemed to light up considerably then. ”I know, I know. I’ve just been meaning to give you that for a while now. just saw the chance I guess.” He said, feeling at ease. Comfort was something he didn’t fully have for a while, but with the shadow of Hyperion gone he could afford to relax a little. Then it came around to his own gift, something that he found himself immensely curious about as they produced a box and unwrapped it. Deep blue eyes focused on it as a strange green gem was produced. His mouth hung slightly ajar as he took in the sight before him.
The explanation afterward made this all the more grand really. A stone that grants the wishes of the user, so long as they were pure. He couldn’t help grinning, holding the stone as he looked into it. ”Well I better hope my wish is pure, right?” He responded, seeming to hold the gift with care. His eyes looked a little watery, but the waterworks themselves were absent. ”I love it Matt, thank you.” He said, continuing to admire the gem for a few more seconds, hoping that perhaps his own wish was worthy.
”Well I gotta say, it’s a great gift. Probably the best one i’ve gotten...ever really.”

Re: When angels fall (Humanity)
"Alright. Hey uh...you're probably not gonna think much of this, but uh...there's a card in there." Matt said as he reached over and gave Jordan a half a hug. Jordan was almost crying. The little bastard didn't have a reason to cry. He was going to forget all of this anyway. Yup, that was the trick.
Jordan, I partially lied to you. I just wanted you to know that I did use the Cintimani stone, and for the purest wish I made is about to come true. I wished that, if it was the safest for you, that you'd forget me. There's more to the wish, but hey. I just wanted you to know before you forgot. Take care bud. I'm going to miss you!
The ink began to melt, the world became a haze and Jordan would find himself on the beach, his moms both with him on either side, the entire world in perfect order. Jordan was holding his belated birthday gift and the card now read something different.
For the best friend a guy could ask for. Sorry you won't remember me. Maybe in another time, or another life
Jordan was on the beach, his wounds were healed and there was nothing but a perfect life ahead of him...

"Michael... you're annoying and I just generally can't condone your drawing air. Do me a favor and forget me too, would you? I've already made arrangements for Shael and Fera to forget me, but that's going to take a little more time." He said as he opened a window. Michael wasn't stealthy. The most stealth he had was in a different universe where he didn't even know the guy.
"Seriously though.... you should really scram."

Re: When angels fall (Humanity)
He would read the note and as soon as the realization hit him, it didn’t matter. His memory no long er existed, and no longer contained anything about the friend he once had. A hand was rested on his shoulder, that was when hr remembered he was with his mothers on his favorite beach. In his hand was a note, saying something though from who he wouldn’t remember. All he knew was that he felt a tar streaming down his cheek, strangely warm and for some reason he felt….sad reading this. ”What the heck.” He sighed, wiping away the stray tear. ”Well, I guess it’s a beautiful stone.” He sighed, looking down at the cinimati stone, ignorant of its true purpose.
–
”I swear i’m usually a lot better at the whole skulking thing.” He sighed, chuckling to himself, as he peered into the now open window. ”Alright alright, don’t blow a gasket. Not exactly sure what you did but let’s hope it doesn’t do anything that might…I dunno, end up in Jordan, Shael or Fera suffering a rather nasty end. Because I might have to put you in the ground. Sooooo, take care big guy.” He said tone not changing from the lackadaisical tone, and then Michael made their leave.
