History:
Three and a half years ago The Talons formed almost by accident. A group of heroes gathered upon the same gang and worked together in harmony to create a super hero team reminiscent of the Bad News Bears. Young and inexperienced, they trained day in and day out. Eventually they helped the heroes of New York defend against Doctor Necrodium's assault. They learned to be a better team but unfortunately they had lost a few members to the good fight.
About a year later a gaping portal opened above New York. Reverse versions of heroes and villains from another world entered, with chaos as their only intent. Holocaust, the reverse version of The Phoenix, caused destruction all throughout New York and Boston. Eventually killing The Phoenix's own family. The villain truly cemented himself in history and lived up to his evil, disgusting moniker. When it all came to an end, Phoenix and Holocaust fought above the city while the rest of The Talons fought tooth and nail to keep their planet safe. The identical duo were launched into the portal above the city and it exploded, sealing off the other dimension and saving the city, while leaving The Phoenix trapped in an unknown place. Two years later Phoenix has returned, given information about impending dooms that he and his team will have to stop. The Talons are back and ready for action.

These personalized communicators tailored to each hero and designed by A.I. grant each Talon the ability to communicate with one another on a closed line. This line is impervious to hacking of conventional methods. By pressing the circular button, the communicator activates. When the white Talons Logo on the bottom side glows blue and starts to flash, it means there is an emergency. There are teleportation devices inside each dog tag.

The OWL:

A highly armored, extremely fast helicopter that carries The Talons. Equipped with two autocannons that fire A.I.'s signature blue energy, advanced targeting and navigational systems, and a few rockets for good measure, this vehicle is the optimal way for the Talons to travel safely and in force.

This new HQ was erected on the exact same spot as the Talon's original base. It floats above the city of New York and the harbor. The building itself is a thin tower with living modules stacked as high as there are members of the team. The building is easily customizable, so no two living modules look exactly alike. Each module has enough space for two to live, or one more comfortably. Each Apartment comes standard with a living room, kitchen, bedroom, a bathroom, shower, bathtub, and walk in closet. The main sector of the base features a command room, med bay, engineering and science workshop, conference room, and helipad. Using the Talon's dog tags they can be teleported to the base from virtually anywhere. One of the senior members must give the clearance code however.
