It's hard to describe his general appearance since he can change his looks on demand. But to maintain a constant identity, he stands 5'11 short brown hair, and wears odd foreign clothes.

Personality:
He's an improvisational, a little too serious take-no-chances kind of person. He is also a masochist.


Powers

The ability to shapeshift anything into anything including people on demand. Severed parts can be shape shift on demand too.

Animate Object: Can change anything into anything else. To change other people they need to be willing subjects.

Name: Finger Trap
Description: Extending his fingers into flexible blades, he can encircle his target and trap them.

Name: Spike
Description: Shoots his fingers at high velocity at his target. his ability to regrow his fingers can allow him to rapid fire.

Name: Finger web
Description: Extending his fingers underground he can set up traps since he detaches his fingers.

Name: Regenerate
Description: Katachi can regenerate wounds and limbs a great speeds. It takes about 5 seconds to fully regenerate a lost human arm down to perfect genetic human DNA.

Name: Smoke
Description: Turning into smoke, he can either sneak attack behind the target, or wait until the target breathes to make them explode.

Name: Hydra Clone
Description: (Katachi needs to be severed in two first.) Makes 2 perfect copies of himself. they live and breathes like the original. Their strength is divided by the number of clones.

Name: Copycat
Description: (Requires Targets DNA) Turns into perfect copy of target. He gets all of the targets powers and memories on top of his abilities to transform, but he can only use the copied powers at half the effectiveness.

History:
He doesen't have a central city to call his own. He tends to exist outside each major civilization. For this reason he gets info about each villan/Hero and effectively give info to other people by shapeshifting into their enviroment as he goes. It is impossible to tell the lifespan of Katachi, since he can have a perfect body. The only way to effectively "kill" him is by squashing the brain, but good luck finding it. Katachi played a smart move and detached his brain from his body and controlling his clone-like body remotely using a "pseudo-brain".

The best way to stop him is Illusion style powers. Since he shapeshifts according to his "precieved" enviroment, Illusion style powers will work effectively on him. Full disintergration will stop this clone but the real him is somewhere else. Life stealing moves will also kill the clone, but not HIM himself. It is just because his real brain is in a secret spot. The original Katachi may be more resiliant to Illusion style Powers because he can reason fact with fiction.

Feeling invincable, he tends to charge headfirst without thinking. He thouroughly believes that he will just regrow back at his real brain's spot. This leaves him open for traps or other ways of concealed attacks.

The last too powers seem a little OP, maybe give them a downside.

Fixed that... now about the shapeshifting thing what if (for example) I went super strength mode making me stronger would that change me powergrid? Or should I make the powergrid my base unshapshifted form?

Wait until you or someone else makes you a powergrid, once that happens, I will move this app.

Probably not, you have quite the extensive list of powers.

If this is approved, I'd like to flag it for review. I haven't read through the whole application, but just a couple things I've read have already seemed extremely OP.

This character is extremely broken and overpowered. You have too many powers. You changed your FS and INT across grids. Having 1 FS means you have very poor combat experience and abilities. If you ever want to win a fight, raise this stat.

This on top of everything you already have? Your character doesn't even have a specific power, just a bunch of abilities. We have a character who's entire power is this one thing...

What? That is crazy. So on top of all these powers you can regenerate too? And it's a very powerful regen.

Both these powers seem dumb. You have so many already. Severed parts can shape-shift? So what you can detach your limbs?

You need to be severed in two? You'd be dead...What is this characters powers anyway?



This application needs a lot of work and is flagged for review/unapproved. Your personality is lacking, and your history doesn't explain your background at all. How did you even get your powers? If you want to be able to only be killed by destroying your brain; that would be a power. Describe your powers and tone down on them; you have way too many.

Whats the point of having 4 strength if you pretty much lack the ability to through a punch? With 1 Fighting Skills your reaction time would also be terrible and you couldn't even stand up so someone in a fight, you would freeze up if someone try'd to attack you, anything else would be complete godmodding =/... With this level of FS, you're pretty much like a baby when it comes to fighting.


Also, is this your base powergrid? Even if you can shapeshift and constantly switch your powergrid, you still need to have set one for your actual body.

Also, I don't like that you can transform others too. It doesn't make any sense how if their 'willing subjects' you can transform them. How does them saying "Oh, you can transform me" give you the ability to do so?

I assume all these are powered by your EP? If so, then they are perfectly fine .

I think it should take a bit more then 5 seconds, especially if your still taking damage or in a transformation. If your taking damage I think you can understand why, but if your in a transformation it's mainly because your using your EP to hold the transformation, so your regeneration wouldn't be getting powered at level 6 EP strength. I just think you should add those details, and maybe make it take about a minute to [ut] completely reattach[/u] a limb that has been ripped, knocked, or blown off. Also, if you're planning on regrowing, not reattaching a limb, it should take much much longer.

I don't like this power at all. I think if someone is able to split you in half, you shouldn't be able to just become two different parts.... You should just die, regeneration can only help so much, so having this power makes it seem like anyone whose power comes from a sword or sword-like weapon wouldn't ever be able to kill you.
