Personality: Cold, humourless. Talks in short sentences, usually only to his target and his partner. His mood and tone of voice never seem to change. Has a very strong sense of honor and can think of no better way of dying than to fall in honorable, face-to-face combat. Teiji will never join a combat situation if it would give one side or the other more fighters and has been known to help the unmatched side, even if it hampers his final goal, though his goal is always completed. His honor extends to paying a person who may have killed his assigned target, even if it means he goes without food until his next contract is met.

History: Teiji was part of an experiment conducted by a Japanese sub-group of the program that made Pain what he is today. It was stationed in the most rural parts of Japan and had taken in homeless, POWs, terminally ill patients, confined mental patients, crimals, and political prisoners. Horrific, gruesome experiments were conducted at the facility, leaving over 15,000 people dead. The 52 "most promising" were taken, while those who were deemed "unworthy" were either left to die or killed off. The remaining were now equipped with strong biotic enhancements which had been selected to fit the needs of the orginazation. Each was partnered and code named, a "samurai" and a "ninja" identified with an English letter. Whenever a replacement is needed, more experiments are conducted to build the next member. Teiji and his partner have since been assigned a total of 367 assassinations, 12,433 infiltration missions, and 78 private army missions with a body count of well over 7,000. He and V have now been assigned to a string of missions located in the US and Canada. In recent months Ekko, the first V was killed by his replacement, Jakob Rand, because he was "too brash, violent, and reckless". Teiji held a funeral and ritual for his comrade of over 10 years. After a period of absence Ekko revealed himself to be quite a bit less than dead and reassumed his position as "V", killing Jakob and being deemed more powerful and "harder to kill" than his usurper. Teiji and Ekko are now looking for new work as the Organization crumbles beneath itself.

Powers: Teiji has bionically enhanced strength and durability. The enhancements also let Teiji to move his arms at supersonic speeds. Teiji's only fully natural power is his amazing eyesight and reaction time, being nearly perfect in aim and able to see bullets coming at him and react to them.
