I Spy [Shadowoof]
The midnight air was cool to the touch and among the shadows of the lamp posts was a girls walking forward with a cane tapping out a sporadic beat as she made certain that nothing would trip her. Dressed in a blue trench-coat to keep the breeze from kissing her skin. She hated this time of the year in Indiana the weather was unpredictable people said that you could experience each season in a matter of hours. She never thought it would be true. Northeast coast of America was quite unpredictable but she swore that if it didn't warm up a bit she was going to steal make lodgings in some closed store because this was ridiculous. Not even the bugs were willing to buzz about in this chill they either must have died or gone underground for hibernation. Shivering she then crouched down beside the lamp post and murmured, "That's it I'm sick of this."
She waved her cane about till it hit the lamp post and began walking til she felt the bumpy ground that would lead her off the beaten trail. Hopefully it wasn't someone's yard as what would happen next would most likely stir some problems with the local authorities. None the less this was her life since she had been shunned by her own flesh and blood, apparently good christian girls didn't go about dabbling in the black arts let alone gain the ability to summon demonic creatures. Looking back it was her fault but she didn't really care this was everything she wanted to be extraordinary as her normal life was nothing but a yawn day in and day out. Now though she can take whatever she wanted. A few seconds later a small dog like creature had appeared beside her she took it in her arms and sat down upon the grass huddling for warmth. "Shhh stay calm all I need right now is some body warmth. It's getting cold outside."
Darn you Calcifer if you hadn't taken my sight this wouldn't be a problem hardly anyone will accept a blind job applicant. Can't drive for take out can easily waitress without running into the tables. "Yep this is life now, come here cal." The summon was growing quite restless in her hand her fingers gently caressing it's head while her right hand held it steady on her lap she didn't want it to go attacking any of the children of the neighborhood.

Re: I Spy [Shadowoof]
Marcus knew one thing, he was lost again. A problem that came when he went for extremely long walks to avoid messes in Chicago or ending up in trains. He started growing a beard, his clothes got dirty and he spent a lot of time trying to get back to Chicago but it allowed him to meet new people and with the voices in his head dead. New people would be better then that of the people that walked the streets afraid of his mask. Marcus looked up to the night sky and realized a slight chill in the air, things like that took him a while to realize when he started getting lost in thought and he lit his hand ablaze with hellfire in an effort to stay warm even as it burned away at the flesh of his hand.
He continued like this till he came across a lamp post that he took to staying near for a bit as he allowed the hellfire to shrink into his skin and the nearby shadows came and covered it to heal the left over burns his source of warmth left. And just as quickly a once red hand was now like it was before, healed. "Where the bloody hell am I?" Marcus would ask himself, waiting for a response only to hear a slight whistle of wind. The once annoying voice in his head, Dark was long gone and Marcus could easily forget this sometimes for even if he could be annoying. He was a friend, a insane friend but a good one.
Growing slightly bored, Marcus would move away to a trail that seemed old and alone, and while he hoped to find someone to talk too he also wished for forest and silence, the two wishes greatly competed with each other however but for now. Quiet and the still night would be good enou... Was that a dog? Marcus stood still as his eyes adjusted to the dark at what the sight before him spoke, an outline of two figures and one looked like a dog, a weird one but a dog none the less. The other figure seemed a little more human but in this dark he could barley see and the thought of lighting his hand on fire crossed his mind once more but he just as quickly crushed it. If it was, human, then they would freak with the fire and the dog too. So instead he went the the very very, very safe choice. "Yo? Someone their?" Marcus would call out as he took in what he could see of their surroundings.

Re: I Spy [Shadowoof]
Regarding everything so far she had to admit that this wasn't the best place to take a siesta but then again since she was now constantly on the move their was no good time for one. She hadn't really kept track of all the bus rides she had and the names of the cities that she had been to were all bleeding together. As she lied their she heard the summon growing restless it snarled in aggravation now ... at least it had till she began to hum a sweet lullaby. She sat upon the ground honing her senses thoroughly particularly her hearing. It was faint but she was definitely on somebodies lawn they were watching the television relatively loudly. It must have been some horror flick and they must have been up some ways as their screeches in terror were rather distant. "Must have been one of those all girls night, scaring the daylights out of themselves. Perhaps a mansion?" since they were so close to the street and were so faint.
She lied their listening to the beast, a man's voice however came from the darkness. "If I knew an answer to that question I wouldn't be huddled up in these nice people's yard cuddling my own familiar. Where exactly are you stranger?" Her head nodded to and fro in attempts to to see if the sound of him became clearer. "And yeah someone is here although I can't see you myself what precisely are you doing around these parts?"
The dog snarled something fierce now as it noticed the man who was now encroaching on what he declared hi territory and his master. "Cool it Cal we have a guess you need to be greet him in the proper fashion. Listen sonny I don't know what you look like so why don't you wander over here so I can feel you up." She joked before waiting for his response either way he would tell her what she really meant shortly. "I'm blind so I like to put get a hang of the faces that I'm talking to. The name is Val and you stranger?" Snapping her hands she hoped that it would make it more obvious that she was now asking him to join them.

Re: I Spy [Shadowoof]
Well, this was slightly unexpected but now he knew a little on where he was and it wasn't quiet and peaceful. Still, he listened to the female voice and caught at a few words such as Familiar. A word he knew was used for something or rather. He remained quiet though the questions till she most kindly asked if he could walk over so she could get a feel of who he was and so he walked slowly towards her. While answering her questions. "To be honest. I have no clue where I am. Names Marcus and sure." Marcus put it into a nice short answer as he closed in one the two and sat down close to her so she could get to him with ease.
"I was just simply walking and kinda lost track in the dark. Nice dog." He would say as he moved his eyes over it, familiar, he knew what it meant. He just couldn't quite put his tongue on it. "Is this your guide dog? Cause otherwise I might have to ask what a blind woman is doing out here." He would ask as he inspected her a little more, not seeing much in the dark but knowing if he needed a fire then she wouldn't freak much. Maybe. Unless her hearing was superb but that was a silly myth and a crappy one. Lose your eyes, your other senses are better when theirs nothing on lose your hearing you have better eyesight. Then it was hard to believe in that one, maybe he could ask. That was always an option for later.

Re: I Spy [Shadowoof]
"Marcus huh nice to meet ya friend." She stood up and clipped what appeared to be a black collar of same material of the summon that was still growling at him. "Sorry he doesn't enjoy other people. I will send him away so long as you are willing to be my eyes for a bit." She laughed. "Shoo boy," it whined and then dissipated into a black smoke. Sitting there on the ground she finally reached out and grabbed hold of his arm. "As for where we are I wish I could tell you I started walking and haven't really paid attention to the street signs," a silly smile crossed her face as she made a joke to her being blind wondering if the guy would catch it. "I suppose we both go here the same way wandering through the darkness and thanks I made him myself. He can be a guide dog if I need him to be for the most part though he just makes sure that I'm safe."
She shivered now that her dog had disappeared and wasn't about to keep her warm. "H-hey you wouldn't be any chance be able to find a place that we could start a fire at could you?" She slowly slid closer to the man hoping that he wouldn't mind the close company. The breeze was getting worse and he was a good wind breaker for the time being. "Hope you don't freak out about the dog, it isn't exactly living so to speak." That was rather silly of her she had hardly knew him and already revealed that she wasn't normal. Not for later meetings don't be quite so obvious.

Re: I Spy [Shadowoof]
Marcus watched with interest as the dog dissipated into nothing and the word familiar finally went into his head, a summon of sort which meant this girl could summon creatures, neat trick for someone without a sight. "No prob. Also you might want to be more careful with strangers and them summons of yours. Not a lot of people will be as calm as me." Marcus warned Val as she grabbed a hold of his arm, the feeling a little strange and he couldn't help but chuckle to the blind joke she had made. It was silly but a good one none the less.
Marcus thought about getting somewhere warmer when he felt Val shiver a little and then she spoke some more before seeming to get closer, making Marcus feel the slightest bit uncomfortable but he kept his cool for her. "Nah. To be honest I'm a little scarier then your friend and sure." Marcus would allow Hell-fire to raise from his other hand that val wasn't holding and coat it till the entire hand was a mess of flames and brought it a little close to Val, not close enough to singe but close enough to feel the heat.
"So, I'm sure with our combined efforts, we can find our way to where ever you want to go Miss Val, just say the name and we will hopefully not get more lost finding it." Marcus would joke as he looked around, trying to get a feel of where they were. Wishing the flames wouldn't crackle and pop around his skin and hoping the smell of the burning flesh didn't bother the girl, maybe a make shift torch would be better acquitted for this rather then his hand.

Re: I Spy [Shadowoof]
She smirked as he mentioned that she ought to be careful about summons, "Only be careful with strangers with these summons huh? I'm surprised usually people tell me other things like you should be careful while you walk about alone. Don't know when you will run into someone who will take advantage of your situation." She then was holding onto his arm her hands trying to make it's way up to his elbow as she turned an ear to him to listen intently even the slightest sound could inform her that he was uncomfortable. "Besides I don't even know how dangerous you could be sir, for all I know you could have a gun or something in your pocket in preparation to kill me? But I'm taking a leap of faith and going to hope for the better." Hearing his laughter made her smile widen. "Thanks for laughing most people think they are just corny."
"Oh you are scary?" She would reach up and if he let her she would probably pinch a cheek ever so gently like that of one's grandmother before saying. "Someone who is as nice as you?" Afterwards though she felt the flame and her hand jumped back a bit before inching closer. "Oh a fire, I'm guessing that this isn't a lighter or something feels to warm to be that. So you are special as well then?" She asked now placing bother her hands by the flame enjoying the soothing heat of the flame. "Maybe I should just stick with you, could be my portable heater." She joked again uncertain of how he would take it.
"At the moment I just want to get into some place warm and start up a nice fire. I think we could probably roast up some marshmallows if you want if you happen to be carrying any on you?" She began walking forward now blindly as her foot managed to avoid a gopher hole merely out of luck.
