Home dressed Xiao came to sit with Cheerleader Danny, the cat climbing onto Danny's lap, claws digging in as he made the sits. "Snowball" was written on the little cat's tag. Xiao brought a platter of raw fish and picked cucumber Gimbap, the Korean version of sushi roll. Snowball also wanted some of Danny's sushi, if she was getting some.

When Danny provided the narrative and Xiao saw it herself, she was completely astonished. The protagonist was an uncanny doppelganger of her friend. "They're still alive? And got to star in movies in a month?" Xiao asked as she was watched the movie intently, the story devolving into some inane zombie outbreak/ alien conspiracy.

The doorbell made Xiao nearly jump. She walked over and answered, seeing some neighbors she befriended dressed up as- one Sexy Sith lord, one dressed as Hellsing's Alucard, and a third fellow dressed as a Wolfman.

"Hey Xiao! We're having so much fun down at the party! You wanna come down?" The Sith Lord asked, holding her plastic lightsaber in one hand and a beer cup in the other.

Xiao looked at Danny, and the movie. This was more important. "Uh... maybe not Rita, I just came from the hospital. Have fun though." She said, rather apologetically.

"Awww. okay Xiao... take care. Hey missus Li." Rita said understandingly, greeting Su. Once again the little ghost girl showed up, appearing to Danny in the moment just before the door closed, following behind the teenagers.

As the movie progressed to the Cheerleader discovering a subplot concerning a ghost girl wrongfully slain and transforming chosen agents into magical chainsaw girls to avenge wrongdoings, the smell of marinated pork grilling in the middle of the dinner table got Dragon Girl to stand up and take her seat.

"Okay girls time for dinner. My is this another one of those action movies?" Su said, watching the movie with unabashed enthusiasm. She offers Danny her bowl of rice and some chopsticks, and a variety plate of vegetable side dishes and kimchi.

The film continued on with a healthy amount of gore and ultra violence to attend to the demographic these kinds of gore filled romps appealed to. Danny did not fall in that category and did not want to understand the demographic. She saw the population in between classes, smoking and generally wasting space and time. The same time and space this dvd took up in Danny's head. She completely phased out when Xiao got off the couch to go speak with her friends. "Those chainsaws would run out of gas. The chain would break after that!" More popcorn left the bowl at a record pace. "Calm down Xaio. You're going to-" The sound of Xaio on the other side of the room carried over to Danny. "Xaio?" Danny's hand stayed in bowl, but not as much popcorn did. "Weird."

"Something like that Mrs. Li." Danny took the bowl in one hand and the utensils in her right, sorting out vegetables with her chop sticks. "Who was at the door Xaio? Trick or treaters or- Holy Shi-t-tzu." Danny caught herself as she watched her doppleganger cut off someone's head after she fixed her chainsaw by attaching his forearm to her saw. "Why would someone do that? Or write that? Or even act that? She tried to kill us that one time remember?" Danny lost herself in the carnage of the movie, missing the young ghost girl reflecting in the screen, but making contact with the one by the door. "Woah. This is a little weird if you and me are both here, and um, well."

Xiao gulped down her dinner in a flash, finished before anyone realized it. "I remember. But I feel like this movie was not written very well. Do you understand what was happening so far? "

For a B-movie type of production, the film carried on past the hour and half mark with still no climax in sight. Dark!Danny slowly made her way into some alternate dimension, a pure white hallway with an infinitesmal amount of doors. She eventually runs into a room full of monitors, coming face to face with a southern gentleman, who  spoke as if hooked up to a thesaurus, talking about Existence, Reality, Fantasy, anomalies...

Sue yawned, and excused herself once she finished dinner. "I'm going to sleep early. You girls take care." exchanging cheekies with Xiao and maybe Danny too, Sue heads for her room and closes the door.

Xiao watched as the movie dragged on. Dark!Danny eventually butchers the Thesaurus man and proceeds to the next room which contained a singular screen. The camera then switches to a mirror view, a close up of Dark!Danny as her eyes slowly widened at the nature of the screen... she reached out to it with her chainsaw arm, and slowly it yielded like a membrane, until the live chainsaw was in the living room. Dark!Danny slowly crawled out of the movie and into the girls' halloween night.

Snowball, rather indifferent and maybe a bit overweight, looked on as Dark!Danny manifested in the living room. Xiao quickly moves to evacuate Snowball and put him inside his little cage. "Mrawr." Xiao then puts the cage in her room, and prepares to confront Dark!Danny.

The movie starting bad did not let it stop it from continuing in said fashion. If not for the fact the movie starred an exact replica of Danny, she would have long dozed off into her phone or the side of the couch. Sue did not need the same precautions, nor did she seem to notice the girl looked exactly like Danny. For a moment Danny began to ponder whether or not Sue could tell non-Asians apart, but decided not to venture down that path. What path she stayed on kept her wondering about the trajectory of the film's course. The film took a very dark turn.

The lights went down but maintained enough of a glow to cast a shadow on the silhouette entering the room. Danny wanted to ask a question, but knew the answer would not change anything. "So, did the last person not rewind?" The reference barely even made since to Danny with the fact the last of Blockbuster died before Danny even began to bless the world with her existence. The tired exchange did not do much to relieve tensions, but the sudden strike did little to be lost in translation.

Xiao ran off to take care of her cat, leaving Danny to face herself. This happened once before and it left Danny in a box with a blade over it. This time looked to be less bad and more stuck in mud. They each channeled different fighting stances, but this time Danny brought something else with her. A turquoise fist wrapped up around Danny's fists and wrists, giving her a working gauntlet to exert her own chance to fight off the girl's attacks.

It all felt like it went for Danny's chance fight, until the other Danny's fist began to glow in the same light as Danny's.
