Rating
Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Freak on a leash or something else edgy like that [Rozmer]
His eyes ran over an article spanning a few weeks ago about a strange winter storm that had swept across Los Angeles, or rather a small portion of the city. Some speculated that some manner of metahuman had tried to cover the city within ice, but luckily a group of meta's had managed to stop them before they could do anything serious. Strangely enough people had said that no one was injured within the storm, despite the fact that a lot of people stated there were strange creatures moving within the murk of the snow. Regardless the hazel orbs would scan along the words, teeth biting softly into his lower lip while he read it over a few more times before clicking to close the tab. "Nothing new." He muttered with a slight sigh, rolling his eyes before lifting the laptop from his lap and setting it on the couch beside him.
The living room section of his apartment wad for the most part clean, save for a pair of shorts sitting before the medium sized television which let off a soft blue lights flickering across the wooden flooring. He had been dressed for work, his shift starting within the span of an hour as the sun flowed through his window in a single shaft of light. Getting up as early as this was something that he didn't really enjoy, reminded him of when he was in high school and tended to mess with his own sleeping schedule anyway. His outfit so to speak was composed of a pair of black slacks, with a button up white shirt with the sleeves rolled up, medium brown hair kept in a messy but manageable style. While he did not need to dress up as formal as he did, it appeared to make the management more disposed towards him and so he went with it.
"Mind as well get moving." He muttered under his breath, sipping from the still warm cup of coffee settled upon the table, letting the caffeinated beverage invigorate him enough to get through the day. Standing up, he ran fingers through his hair and let the cup set back down upon the table. That was enough energy for the day anyway, the morning if his luck was not as great as he would have wanted it. The air outside was bracing, cool against his skin and enough to draw a few goosebumps from the contact itself. It appeared like it would be a fine day but that was until something scurried across his foot, and then something else. It was a soft pressure, one barely felt through his shoe but enough to cause him to jump from sheer panic. Looking down was all it took to see the tide of rats scurrying past his feet, black rodents running about.
"Shit shit shit shit." Pat cursed under his breath, climbing on top of the nearest higher ground to set some distance between him and the rodents. "Rat... what is with all of these rats? I didn't think the infestation problem in LA was that bad." People seemed to have similar reactions as the mice scurried towards a certain locartion but that made him wonder what that location was.
