History: Life in the old ages where violent times where life was a daily gift that could be extinguished in the blink of a eye. Strigoi was a simple farmer who was murdered by nomadic mercenaries when he refused them shelter from the law. But our story starts that night when his discarded corpse rose with a vengeance! It is not known if it was a curse, bad luck or something spiritual that brought this evil on the world but that no longer mattered. All that did was a hunger that bore in the newly risen body that would drive a normal man crazy. Wandering the night in a haze the corpse came across two lovers having a late night rendezvous with destiny. Striking from the shadows in a quick but brutal fashion Strigoi murdered his targets and bathed in there blood, drinking it and eating the flesh cured the hunger but as soon as he finished eating it returned.

That was several hundred years ago and Strigoi continues to travel the world attacking the unsuspecting and causing chaos wherever he goes. He recently left China and has made his way to America ready to pick up right where he left off....

The Powers and Weaknesses

(All characters can be as powerful as they want, as long as they are balanced with proper weaknesses.)
Powers

Power 1: Immortality - Strigoi cannot die from old age or sickness, only if his head is chopped clean off and his body pinned to the ground by something spiritual. In cases of extreme damage to his body Strig has sewn body parts from victims to himself to keep striving.

Power 2: Strength and Endurance - Not needing to breath allows Strigoi to stay underwater forever or run for endless amounts of time. He also has the strength of 10 human beings in top physical shape due to the demonic blood that flows thru him

Power 3: Phasing - Temporarily shifting to the spirit world Strig can phase thru walls or people for a short period of time, allowing him to be unharmed from a physical attack or to quickly escape a bad situation. (This will only last a turn and will need to recharge for two turns before can be used again.)

Weakness(es)

Weakness 1: Strig is highly susceptible to silver items

Weakness 2: Any holy item can incapacitate Strig if placed on him

Weakness 3: When hit by a item of spiritual blessing Strig cannot use any of his super natural powers again until he consumes the flesh of a living being.

Weakness 4: Strigoi must eat constantly or the hunger pains in his stomach will cause him to go mad until the hunger is relieved. When consumed by this rage he is sporadic and fights with reckless abandonment.

RP Mechanic(s): Fear gaze - Staring directly into Strigoi's eyes will cause the victim to see horrifying images that will continue to haunt them for the next 24 hours, this can be as simple as things jumping out of the shadows or the whole world looking like a foreign nightmare. (This will be for RP mechanics only and will only work on a character if we agree to it OOC)
