Meeting of old Friends? (Ryan Lester)

Bella felt glad that her claws and teeth sunk into his skin but was disappointed in the face they didn't dig too deep. She needed something much stronger and that was something she could do easily. When the guy tried shaking her off she would aid him by letting go oh his shoulder at the loss of being flung off onto the ground. Staying still, she would focus on turning to her human form and while Ryan had created the icy prison she had done so and pulled herself up only to witness the looks of a beam from within, melting the ice and allowing the being to break out.

"Dammit." Wasting no time, Bella would start running at the alien before instantly shifting into her Gorilla form, feeling the strength course though her, Bell would hope her act of shifting in-front of the being would surprise him enough for her to close any distance between them and deliver a nice big punch to the mans head. Hoping to at least test how well her form would handle against the being and if lucky end the fight before it started to get worse.

The raptor had managed to do minimal damage but that was nowhere near enough to do anything to slow the metahuman down for any stretch of time. Now they they showed they could release those strange beams of heat from their eyes, well Ryan knew his water form would probably be next to useless now. This meant he would have to play things  alittle smart, something he hopefully could do well enough to deal with the tough guy. While he thought of what to do next, Bella appeared to have taken the initiative and turned into a stronger form to attack them. The attack seemed to do nothing more than throw them into the ground with a few cracks spreading from where they collided. ”And here they go again talking in that weird language.” Ryan muttered as something hit him.

It appeared that lesson on human anatomy worked, beyond just learning some rather embarrassing facts.  All Ryan had to do was let Bella distract them while he did the hard work, concentrating on all of the fluids within the person's body and then came the fun part. Considering that a persons body was made of of around 70% water, that meant that he could manipulate it should he concentrate hard enough. So Ryan did just that as their body began to jerkily comply with his wishes, the arms popping loudly as they were forced to strike him in the face with his own superhuman strength, causing the nose itself to break. All of this was shown to have worked by Ryan moving his fingers as if he were controlling a puppet.

Bella watched as the man cracked on the ground and reeled back in pain. Punching the bastard had hurt a lot more then expected, clenching her hurt fist, she was about to continue the assault when all of a sudden she watched the alien jerk in place before punching himself in the face and from the looks of it, really hard. Taking a few steps towards Ryan she would shift back to her human form and hold onto her bruised fist. "I swear to god, don't ever do that to me."

Bella would say as she watched Ryan move his hands like he was a puppet master, like this maybe he could just make the guy beat himself to unconscious. That would just end the fight right their and now. "So. When did you learn to bend blood?" Bella would treat the situation as normal from now, seemingly believing that Ryan had the whole thing under control.

Ryan got an almost primal thrill from making the meta beat themselves up, each motion of the finger causing their fist to collide with their face until blood ran from their nostrils like a river and they fell into unconsciousness. That was when Bella had asked where he learned to do that, or maybe it was when he had learned to do that. ”Ummm...not too long ago.” He said with a shrug, looking down to the meta who now lay prone on the ground, burying his hands into his pockets. ”I guess they weren’t that strong.” Ryan then noted with a smirk, perhaps enjoying that bit too much. ”So...um...let’s get out of here. I guess we could do something else or whatever.”

"Not that strong?" Bella said with a raised eye brow. What had this kid been up too, first Lucius and his mother and now he was older, and he could bend blood. The thought of him having power just to go after Red made her think of what she was doing. Were they both going for the same goal or was his different then a murderous lust. Looking back to the unconscious meta she would turn back to Ryan who became himself again.

"Yea. Might be a good idea. Hey have you got anywhere to go? Cause if not then I guess free showers are out of the bargain." Bella would joke as she waited for Ryan, she didn't really know what to do, not too good on the talking part of life but she didn't want to leave him. They were friends right. They should be able to at least hang out for a bit other then taking a ass who ruined their reunion then going their separate ways. That would be crappy.

Okay, maybe they were strong but they weren't really anything that Ryan found dangerous really. Using his new abilities, well that was all he needed to take them down. Making someone punch themselves was a lot easier than trying to use his own power, which may have not been as useful. With a chuckle, Ryan raked his fingers through the back of his now shaggy hair. "I got a place to go I guess, but I can't really just bring people there." He said, which sounded about right unless Seraphim minded less about things like that than he thought. It was also likely that Gadreel would not like him bringing random people to their lighthouse.  

"Let's go to the beach. Beach's are pretty cool." He said with a small nod, looking to Bella to see if she would be willing to go with something like that. True enough he didn't exactly have anything that fit with going to the beach, but then again not like he ever had to worry about his clothes getting soaked. "You don't mind going to the beach, right?" He asked with a raised brow.

Bella whined at the words of not allowed to bring guest before looking back to where the downed meta was. One final thought on Lucius before turning back to Ryan. "Well your new group stinks like I will in a while." Bella would add the joke but gave the words a second thought. Was it a group or was he just apart of a home that had a no guest rule. In their life it would most certainly be the former then the latter. What else would someone as powerful as Ryan be doing nowadays.

Then he offered another location, the beach and to this Bella gave a small laugh. She hadn't been to a beach in a very long time. "Ryan a beach sounds great. I don't mind at all." Bella said with a smile before looking to the left and right, she never really explored as much as to find a beach. "You might need to lead the way, let's just hope theirs no jackass meta over their. But then again you can just make them punch themselves." Bella said while playfully punching Ryan in the shoulder.

Bella appeared to be fine with going to the beach and to an extent that made Ryan happy. Hanging out with friends on the beach was always a fun time really, though he couldn't take any of them to the boardwalk to have fun there. Regardless, that meant this could be sort of a fun day or he could try to make it as fun as possible. As much as he would have liked to introduce some of his friends to Bella, he was not so sure if Cale would have been fond of him bringing someone around. There was always that glaring that made him feel uncomfortable in a strange way. "Awesome! I know this pretty cool spot on the beach." He said with a small smirk. "I...probably need to change into something for swimming though." He noted with a shrug. Having Bella's confidence within his power was a big help too, considering that he needed a little confidence within himself.

"So wait here. I'll be back in like....three minutes tops." Forming a small puddle of water, he himself turned into water and sunk into it. This was his own form of teleportation, and within a matter of seconds he appeared within a bathroom which appeared to be the Seraphim one. Going through his little living space, Ryan would find a pair of brightly colored swimming trunks which had splashes of light blue, green, yellow and even pink. Along with this he chose out a white t-shirt with the sleeves and part of the side cut off for some dumb reason. Going back the way he came, Ryan would appear before Bella dressed up as he was with sandals to replace his shoes. "There we go, now I'm more beach worthy." He said wearing the usual expression.

With a beckoning motion he would ask her to follow, and within ten minutes they would find themselves at the beach. Already he could smell the ocean air hitting him, a sort of nostalgia hitting him as his sandals crunched the sand underneath his feet. There were a few people around, but that didn't bother him. "So what should we do first?  A little swimming? Surfing?"

This was going to be exciting. The beach, the one place where she never really thought of visiting in her free time, she used that for hunting people down and venting her anger on some poor wall but to go hang with Ryan at the beach. It would be a needed change, one that she'd enjoy far too much then what going to the beach deserved. Ryan spoke up which took Bella from her inner mind and back to reality. One where as soon as he began to speak gain, she took in every word and looked at herself. She was in no way dressed for the beach.

Taking a deep breath, Bella nodded her head to Ryan when he told her to wait before finally teleporting, a cold memory shivered down her spine of the time she had joined him in one but she couldn't let that stop her. With no way to NY and back, Bella quickly shifted into a cheetah form and sped away to a nearby cloths store where to the owners surprise she had sped in and shifted back to normal. Rushing, she grabbed a Flannel button up shirt of black and blue coloring along with a pair of blue short jeans and quickly grabbed a black bandeau with a back clasp that most likely kept it together and with a matching colored bikini bottom before quickly turning turning to the shop owner. "Arrr. I would leave an IOU card but I got at least a minute. Thanks." Stuffing the 'burrowed' Swimming clothes down her shirt before shifting back into her speedy form and making a blitz back to where she and Ryan once stood.

Making it their with what felt like mere seconds, Bella would quickly make her way to a enclosed and quiet area before changing into the clothes she had just acquired, walking back while buttoning up the second top button just as Ryan would pop back up with his newly acquired swimwear as well and it was at this that Bell picked up on two things. One, he had sandals which she had forgotten and two... Holy hell he had muscle, the shirt quite frankly showed not only the fact Ryan had seemed older but he was now muscled. That was a scary thought to think, it was harder to not think of him as the kid that she knew a few months ago. He was stronger, better, hotter. Bell stopped herself at that last thought and used his words to center her train of thought. "Yea same. Had to change to something more beach appropriate too." Bella said while giving herself one last look, the flannel fitted her thank god and while the short jeans showed off a little more leg then she was use to when it came to jeans, they felt better then her old long ones going to the beach.

After that it was a ten minute walk to the beach, it felt nice, the wind, the smell. The sand under her feet, it felt like a great idea to go to the beach and their was hardly anyone around to boot. Then Ryan had asked if she would like to go swimming or surfing first. She had to go with swimming for this choice doe. "Sorry mister Muscle. But this girl doesn't know how to surf. She can swim doe." Bella would say to Ryan as she looked back to the sea. It was almost too peaceful for her.

Just hanging out with a friend was enough to excite Ryan really, though he did find himself wondering where Bella got her clothing. Maybe she could teleport and never showed that power before, because that was always possible. Wiggling his toes around some until sand managed to get stuck between them, he listened to what Bella had said about how she could not surf. "Ya don't?" He asked sounding genuinely disappointed before shrugging and then forming what appeared to be a surfboard from ice. Creating the construct didn't require too much effort really. "I can surf though, I'm pretty good at it too." Ryan boasted with a smirk before taking off in a sprint and setting the ice board onto the water before stepping onto it himself. Through a little application of his hydrokinesis, Ryan would propel himself out into the water while producing a wave. From there it was easy enough to do the whole surfing scene as he rode along a wave that he created with an impressive amount of skill before surfing back to shore. "Was that awesome, or what?" Ryan said with usual almost childlike enthusiasm.

"I never go to the beach much." Bella said in response to Ryan's disappointment but stared at the ice created surf board. Thinking he would slip before realizing that, he controlled ice. He wouldn't slip. "I'm sure you are Ryan." Bella would say with a laugh, anyone that could control the water should be able to surf. That was pretty obvious. As Ryan ran towards the water, Bella began to unbutton her shirt and placed it onto the sand before sitting down atop of it, watching the surf unfold and even doe she thought it wouldn't be that interesting but watching Ryan, he was pretty bad-ass among the waves.

As Ryan came back to shore, Bella came to meet him, his happiness was cool. It was great just being among friends at the beach. "That was so cool. I see why you enjoy it." Bella would gleefully say as she smiled at Ryan but would suddenly stop, Bella would look down for a moment before shaking her shoulders and then with speed, reached out and tag Ryan's shoulder. "Your it." Bella would yell before dashing past Ryan and making a run for the water, giggling as she went. The crunch of sand under her feet as she ran made it all the more better, she was going to have some fun.

Something about surfing or maybe being close to the water just made Ryan feel at ease. It might have been the while water powers thing, but then again it might have also been some sort of weird psychological thing that ended up hurting his head. Granted, that might have just been all the big words that Matt tended to throw around when he started talking about that kind of thing. Making it back to shore was even easier as he just rode a wave along until he ended up washing back to the sand. From there he let the icy board melt away in the water in a matter of seconds, though the melting may have been partially done by himself. That was until it looked like a game of tag had suddenly erupted, though that left Ryan partially confused. He hadn't really played tag before, though that might have been because he never really played the game.

The rules seemed simple enough, just chase after someone and tag them back, then there was a lot of people running around and tagging one another. So Ryan did the only thing he could think of doing really, and that was making chase really. Bella looked like she was faster than him, but he could try to catch her anyway. So he just ran after her, laughing despite himself as he ran as fast as his legs could carry him.

Bella ran to the edge of the wet sand that the water rose and fell from before turning back to Ryan who lagged behind, here she thought he was a little faster but then again she was physically stronger then her friend. Sure he had muscle now but who said he knew how to use it or if he was any faster. "Damn slowpoke. Do I need to turn into a turtle to give you a chance?" Bella said with a laugh before taking steps into and out the dry and wet sand, wondering if he would try to take advantage of his powers. A thought occurred that he could simply win by blood bending but Ryan didn't seem like the one to go that far into cheating.

If he kept coming, Bella wouldn't run, she would wait till he got close before trying a side step and making a dash for it along the edge of the wet sand the water kept coming to. Teasing him, it was also a powerful feeling this and the thought of letting him tag her came to mind a few times but the thought of making him think he had it before slipping between his fingers was more exciting then going easy on him.

Unfortunately even with training from hell, Ryan found that superhuman speed was something that one could train into like in an anime. Sure he was faster, but that did him no good when it came down to it really. Still, not like this was a contest or anything like that as considering that he could have forgone speed entirely with one simple move really. The thought passed through his mind but Ryan decided to forgo that for the sake of fun. Sure, there was a small competitive nature within the whole tag thing, but then again it was more playful than anything else. He drew in deep breaths as his stamina proved to be something that would not so easily forsake him within this chase.

Somewhere within the game of tag it looked like Ryan would actually catch her, but that came down to a sidestep that he caught sight of a little too late.Internally cursing, Ryan quickly turned upon his heels to continue to follow the females movements, wondering if perhaps he was going about this all wrong. Within a matter of seconds he would dissipate into water, seeming to sink among the waves for a moment. This was all part of his master plan however, as within a matter of a second a hand of water would reach out from a wave washing up on the shore.

Her plan had succeeded, with a dash and her hands clawing at the sand before going into a sprint, Bella had strikingly played Ryan into her hands and laughed along the way. Tag was such a childish game but it was something they needed she thought, to be children once more even if Ryan had no look of a child, no he seemed to have grown not only in appearance but maybe a little in personality. Bella couldn't tell too well as trying to figure people out was a pain. She turned her head to see the male chasing after her and smirked smugly of her position ahead, turning back to look ahead before turning back to Ryan once again only to find him gone.

This... This surprised and scared her as she knew nothing of Ryan up and disappearing unless teleporting though ice was concerned but their was no ice where he once stood. She thought back, Water, Ice. Did he have the ability to turn into water? That was a scary thought but at the time it was the only logical one unless he could turn into sand. She doubted that last part but turned to the waves that washed among the shore, keeping an eye only to see too late a hand of water already reaching from one of the waves and coming straight at her. Bella's mind didn't react to this logically and withen moments of seeing the hand she began squealing and lifted her closet leg away from the watery thing only to find her body was moving back too, resulting in Bella losing balance and falling on her back onto the sand with a small thud. Mmmmm, That... I.. I don't squeal!" Bella said aloud in her defense, blushing in humiliation of what her mouth had produced. Maybe she had gone too childish in this simple game of tag.

His hand had found its mark as the female let out a squeal, surprising him more than anything. usually the people hung around didn't really make squealing noises, except Silus but that required tickling really and he was like eleven most of the time. Once that was done, a large body of water slunk from the ocean, moving around Bella before forming taking a human form and becoming Ryan once again. "Looks like I was fast enough." Ryan noted with a cheeky grin, crossing both of his hands behind his head while just looking at Bella with a single raised brown. The female had fallen on the ground, likely out of surprise from being suddenly tagged but then again being next to a beach was not the best place to play any game against him. Not that he would have gone out of his way to cheat at a game anyway, because that would have been lame.

"Ya don't squeal? I'll keep that in mind then." Leaning over slightly, he offered his hand to help her up.
