Strange Place and Strange Time (Jeannie Double XP)

Juka was bored. This really wasn't an unusual state of affairs for the flamboyant bubbler with far too much spare time on his hands and more money than he knew what to do with. He didn't typically sleep, for one thing, and those extra 8 hours a day really did drag on sometimes. Sure, he could sleep if he really wanted to but what if he missed something important? Even the endless parties that he brought with him wherever he went didn't have much of a lustre for him tonight. It wasn't that he disliked them, never that, but it was the same thing week in and week out and, well, he wanted to do something fun!

Tonight Juka found himself in Seattle. One of his clients, a wealthy man involved in the pharmaceutical industry, had requested his unique services so he'd be here for the next couple of weeks. It wasn't that he had to travel of course; as the only one who could make people young again if he wanted his clients to come to him then come to him they would. He liked travelling, however, and Seattle was a city that he was especially fond of. If you had all the hours of the day or night and, quite possibly, all the years of eternity then you may as well fill them with interesting things.

Which brought him back to his original problem which was that he was bored. Juka walked to the balcony and opened the window, stepping around a couple of bedraggled partiers passed out on the floor. Stepping out onto the balcony, the wind gently ruffled the skirts of his bright purple dress. Never go half way with anything, including your dress, had always been his philosophy. It was dark out still and thus a perfect opportunity to go for a fly. Closing the window behind him, a soft pink bubble formed around his person. The bubble then lifted from the balcony, Juka standing inside of it.

Looking down upon the city it didn't take Juka long to realize that something very strange was going on. Most of the buildings he remember were simply gone and in their place what appeared to be structures from decades past. He frowned to himself, floating above the city streets.

ouch that first step was a dossy Jeannie looks around confused what kinda well was that she's outside now and nothing looks familiar this ain't the catacombs she was in it's not even Rome,she looks down at the rope around her waist she was using to climb down the well.

agrh that guy ripped me off he said that was his best rope, what kinda crappy quality is this, he better give me back, so tired of sleazy salesman taking advantage of me,just cause I'm blonde doesn't mean I'm dumb! Jeannie makes pouty face stomping her feet annoyed then looks around.

where is she exactly that wall most have some cooky Alice in wonderland stuff going on it's teleported her somehow. she takes out her cellphone maybe it's GPS will help find out where she is,no signal what hick town did that thing drop me in if I can't get a signal in the middle of it she looks around at the signs and people listening to how they talk will there speak English but something odd with their words.

everyone using words that sound like stuff people from her grandpa's day would say. how weird she decides that she most be in America judging by her observation, so how she get sent clear across the world, and now what should she do. she sees a man floating in the air a wizard! he most knows how he got here or could at least help her get back

Juka was very confused. Contrary to appearances, this was not actually a normal state for him. While there was no doubt that he liked his drugs and sometimes lacked in the quality of common sense, there was a brain inside his multi-coloured head. The power to make you young again or not, one didn't amass the riches he'd managed to amass while staying mostly under the radar if one didn't have a bit of intelligence behind them. Right now, however, he was definitely confused.

If Juka wasn't very much mistaken, he might almost think that he had somehow gone back in time. None of the buildings looked modern and as he looked down at the people below him, their dress didn't look quite right either. Spinning his bubble around to look behind him, he saw his manor but that didn't look exactly right either, as if it were newly built and all the trappings of the modern world had been stripped from it.

hey mister wizard stop I need your help,I'm lost I fell in a magic well and somehow got sent her did you bring me here?

At the words heard, Juka landed in front of the woman and his bubble disappeared. He bowed in a dramatic flourish before speaking. "My dearest lovely lady, I'm afraid you are mistaken. I'm no wizard and think I may be as lost in this strange time as you. Would you care to accompany me and we can, perhaps, find out together what's going on and where or rather when we are?"

Jeannie smiles blushing oww you think I'm lovely that's the nicest thing some I just met has ever said to me usually they just question my mental sanity she gives him a hug. wait we went back in time! that explain why it looks like we crashed into the site of happy days, how cool I never time traveled before, hey think we'll get to meet the fonz while were here?

she looks around amused by the difference between this time and hers yeah Mr. I'll accompany you sounds fun, so I'm Jeannie  and you are?

"The name's Juka," Juka answered with a smile. He went to take her hand to kiss it, if she was willing to allow it. Whatever was going on here, the one thing he was certain of was that he was no longer bored. Now he had a mystery to solve, a quest to find his way back home and a very pretty lady to go along with him.

"My dear Jeannie, you aren't the only one whose mental sanity has been questioned from time to time," he answered with a giggle. "For someone who has never time traveled before, you don't seem oh, how shall I put this, quite as terrified as the mere mortal might be at the prospect? Would it be untoward to ask you if, perhaps, you might be one of the more exceptional humans?"

Probably fear was what Juka should be feeling as well but for one of the ageless, being stuck in a time past only meant it would take a little longer to get back to the time he was used to. It wasn't like he was going to age and die in the decades to come, now as it?

huh, jeannie giggles amused when juka kissed her hand first she thought he was from the future but seeing how shining knight he is she thinks he might be from king Arthur

well yeah why would I be terrified it's like playing doctor who, guess that make you the doctor!
what do you mean exceptional human? i got really cool powers if that's what you mean, like a superhero, what about you juka if you're not a wizard how'd you do that bubble thing and fly, are you one of them smarty guys that build stuff?

For all of Juka's large amounts of spare time, he was only passingly familiar with Doctor Who. Why, after all, would he concern himself with watching people do interesting things when he could actually be out doing interesting things? It seemed to make Jeanie happy, however it made him happy too.

"Cool powers is exactly what I mean!" Juka answered, beaming exuberantly. "I'm not sure if I count as a super hero, exactly, but I try to do good things. Its all in the bubble, my dear, but there's a little more too it than just flying around. Some call me the Fountain of Youth." Maybe not the best thing to admit publicly, but she seemed nice and besides, it wasn't like they were even in the real world, right?

"Might I ask what mystical gifts you might possess?"

well not sure if there mystic I got them when a lab experiment I was helping my daddy with kinda blow up, now I got all kinds of powers I don't get old,my boo boos go away really quick,I can see really far and in the dark like a kitty,I can smell things like a puppy and my hearings really good,I'm super fast well not super duper fasti can't run around the world or anything but I'm still kinda fast,I still need my motorcycle to get around,oh no my poor little bike it's all alone on the other time I hope nobody takes it,

oh and i got really good reflexes too like the matrix guy will kinda I don't stop time but still can do dodgy stuff like it oh and recently I discovered I can see stuff and learn how to do it and am good at remembering stuff photo something or other my daddy called it that's why I'm good at playing with guns years of playing call of duty and they say games are bad for your brain but from that and tv i've leared all kinda stuff still can't figure out dragon ball z guys fire ball thingy mine always poofs jeannie tries doing a kammaha mha wave with little succuses see i do it just like they do but no pretty lights of doom
