I would like very much to be the squad leader!
Though Stan lacks financial resources, his university credentials do give him nearly unlimited access to the school's facilities. As such, he was able to locate and requisition a decently large (10,000 sqrft) underground storage space in a secluded portion of campus, which he is slowly furnishing with gym equipment, some basic coms, and the other necessities of a base. The area in which the base is located was recently renovated into spaces for storage and low-level university staff, making foot traffic in the area uncommon.
