Coffe & Blood (Open, David)

The rain softly hit the ground as a man walked down the streets of Los Angeles. He saw blue and red lights illuminate something far off in the distance. The detective took a sip of his coffee, making a soft slurping sound as he gulped what was left of his bitter drink. His mask glew in the rain, making a bright red glow reflect in the air and in the wet floor.

His footsteps echoed through the empty street as he approached a crowd. They were surrounding a scene, a crime scene, and making gossip and hushed words as he walked through, his appearance standing out. David stepped in and looked at a police man, who seemed to tense up in the precense of the older, more experienced, detective.

The masked man did an impacient gesture and the cop blurted out the details. Female, Jenna Smith, 22, dead since an hour ago, found by a hobo, shot with a 9mm. "People can't think of any other weapon to use for murder these days..." He said, lighting a cigarette and absent-mindedly smoking.

The rain cleaned any hopes for any DNA or fingerprints. The blood had managed to barely survive the rain, and it had left a traceable trail.

David sent a couple of policemen down the trail. He then began to investigate the crime scene.

BloodDrop Watched from the rooftop admiring the crime scene.  His next target was down and she never even saw it coming. Before using his grappling hook to slide off into the distance, he took one more glance of the scene . Arriving back at his home BloodDrop pulled off his mask and drank a small glass off whisky before drifting off to sleep.

David turned at the right moment, he saw someone, a policewoman, be swiftly moved and killed. He looked up, seeing a man dissapear into the rooftops. Time seemed to slow down, as he saw the rain drop slower and the man slide off to god-knows where. The detective quickly gave chase to the assassin and managed to climb up to a small roof. The man seemed to enter a house and he never came out.

Unsheathing his revolver, David entered the house, he found a room where a man slept, a bottle of whiskey next to where he layed.

The Truth-Eye aimed at the man, and saw if he reacted.

POOF a smoke cloud filled the room. This person was messing with the wrong person. "you shouldn't of followed me here." Blood-Drop moved around the room, easily getting behind the person and tried to get them in a choking hold.

The smoke filled the room as the man appeared behind him. David's sense of time slowed as he ducked and placed the barrel of his gun in Blood-Drop's forehead. "Freeze, or I'll be forced to use deadly force, but I would like some information, so I'll ask you some questions" He said, as he pressed the gun. "Question number one, where you the one who killed that poor woman in the street" He placed his finger in the revolver's trigger. "Two, did you use a 9mm pistol to kill her?" He got in closer. "And finally, who are you?".
