Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Victoria Steyr
Real Name: Victoria Steyr
Super Hero/Villain/Renegade/etc Name: Clockwork
Alignment: Neutral (For now.)
Age: Unknown
Gender: Female, technically genderless.
Race: Construct
Hair: Blonde
Eyes:Blue
Height: 5'0''
Weight: 140 lbs
Costume Description/Image: Victoria Favors white in her outfits. She almost always wears a heavy coat, even in warm weather. This is convenient for hiding weapons in. Though mostly practical, as her personality has developed she has developed her own preferences in fashion. She usually wears outfits that feature a lot of buckles. She makes her own outfits.
Personality: Victoria's personality is only beginning to develop. That, combined with her lack of facial expressions, makes her seem very robotic. She views everything objectively, and is eager to learn whenever she can. She spends much of her free time reading, and asks many questions. She often comes off as aloof.
History: Victoria is a construct originally created near the end of World War II by one of the organizations that would eventually combine with others and form the modern Indigo Torch. One part supernatural energies, and 3 parts genius technology she was one of the greatest unknown inventions of her time. Though she was completed, the chaos following the war prevented her from being activated or tested. She was confiscated by the British with many other experimental technologies. During transportation, harsh weather caused the truck carrying her container to go off the road and hit a fence. While it was hardly a major accident, the jarring impact made caused an emergency activation of the construct. She killed several soldiers, and escaped. She was following the only instructions that had already been imprinted on her brain as best she could. She infiltrated British government, working various clerical and assistant jobs. She quietly gathered all sorts of information, storing it in her perfect memory. She was simply gathering this information and waiting until she received orders to report, or to assassinate a target. Such orders of course, never came. so she moved from one place to the next, assuming new identities for decades.
This would have likely went on forever, but eventually she was found out. A superhuman detective who was working on a case of a murdered politician, uncovered her secret identities. She became his prime suspect, and when she answered his accusations by drawing her weapon, he was sure he'd found the right person. A fight ensued, unfortunately bullets were of little use against the hero. The fight ended poorly for Victoria, leaving her severely damaged. By chance, her body was picked up by a technical genius named Charles Saalfeld. In exchange for his help, Victoria taught him how to repair her as well as many other things. Charles gave Victoria her name, and she lived with him while he spent years repairing her. Their symbiotic relationship did not end after Victoria was repaired. Gifted for the first time with a new awareness, Victoria had no idea what to do with her own life. To find out, as well as earn money, she began working as a mercenary. Charles provided backup, weapons, and repairs. so it was that they went into business together, using the code names "Clockwork" and "Mechanic." She is always successful in her missions, and commands a high price when hired. Most of this money goes into new weapons.
Composition: Though she appears human, underneath her false skin she is almost completely inorganic material. The only organic part of her besides her outer tissue is a heart, encased in thick metal sphere in the center of her chest. The rest of her body is metal plates and gears. This means punching her is like punching solid steel. She doesn't have nerves, but her "brain" consists of a nest of wires and gears and many electrical impulses. This means the two weak points are her head and her heart. Her heart is encased in almost impervious armour (Improved upon by Charles), but it's destruction would mean death for Victoria. Damage to her brain is repairable, however she cannot function without it and until repaired she is little more than metal cadaver.
To look human, she has an outer layer of organic tissue. This tissue doesn't have any blood pumping through it, and possesses the property to generate a small amount of heat so that she is not completely cold to the touch. While she is still colder than the average person, it is only a minor temperature difference and could be explained by a condition like anemia. The tissue can repair itself, though not any faster than normal human tissue. Replacement of large portions of tissue requires more tissue to be grafted on, as well as time for it to heal together with the seams of the rest of her tissue.
Abilities:
Wired Brain- Victoria's "brain" works with the efficiency of a supercomputer. She has a perfect memory and can process information nearly instantly. She is capable of performing complex calculations at blinding speeds, giving her nearly flawless accuracy.
Woman of Steel- Under her false skin Victoria's true body is protected by a shell of hard metal alloy that makes it difficult for any but the most determined to do any real damage to her. Her lack of nerves means she can't be slowed down by pain, and as long as her head and heart remain intact she will remain conscious and functional. So long as her heart is intact she can be repaired, though only her most trusted confidants have been given the knowledge to be able to do so.
Weaknesses
Power Surge- Victoria is vulnerable to large amounts of electricity. While it isn't particularly damaging to her body, it interferes with her brain and can confuse or temporarily incapacitate her.
Lack of Nerve- While not feeling pain occasionally comes in handy in battle, Victoria's lack of nerves also means she can't feel anything else. She has no sense of taste, smell, or touch whatsoever.
Weapons:Victoria is constantly acquiring new weapons, and Charles is always working on new weapons for her. On most days, Victoria can be described as a walking armory. There are a few weapons though, that are almost always on her person.
"Twin Ivory"- Her favorite guns. Two 3-barreled 18 shot revolvers, named for their white handles.
"Indecent Proposal"- A small metal ring with a large (fake) jewel. The jewel is attached to a mechanism to quickly pop it off, revealing a six shot .22 firearm. Given to her by Charles.
Aside from those, she has two small six-shot revolvers stored in her arms, on a spring-loaded mechanism to pop into her hands. She also keeps two more revolvers in compartments in her legs.

- Spoiler:
- The construct currently assuming the identity of Emily Swanson was in her employer’s office. It was late at night, and the politician had gone home some time ago. She was going through her routine of looking through old files and such. She read pages in seconds, and would quickly memorize everything in the room. She had been doing this for over half a decade. It was the only mission she knew she had. She waited for new orders, but didn’t particularly care if she got them. She didn’t have things like desires, never felt boredom. She was a machine following orders. She could make herself appear human, because it was necessary.
Just then the door quickly opened, revealing a tall muscular figure in a cape. It was Captain Valiant, London’s superhero detective. He was a rising star as far as popular heroes go, but unfortunately “Emily Swanson” new little about him and his abilities. “Ms. Swanson.” He spoke, in that tone that said he expected to find her here. “You’re working late.” He stood perfectly still in the doorway. “Well yes, my work is never done.” She replied casually, ignoring his accusing tone. She had no way of knowing, but he was investigating a murder of a politician. “I’m afraid this office is closed sir. You’ll have to come back tomorrow.” She walked towards the door as if to leave, but he didn’t budge. “Miss Swanson.” He started again in a flat tone. “Or should I saw Ms. Wallace? Or Ms. Smith? You’ve had quite a few names haven’t you? I’m afraid you’ll have to come with me to the station, we’ll figure out your real name sure enough.”
He reached out to grab her wrist, and she responded by pulling out a revolver and shooting him between the eyes, quick as a flash. His head recoiled backwards, and then pulled back forward. The crumpled bullet fell from his forehead, where it had left little more than an imprint in his skin. His hand flew out, but she was faster. She dodged out of the way, and wriggled past him. She was running full speed and made it out the door. She jumped to a nearby street lamp, and rebounded onto the roof of the building. As she was running across the roof, it erupted under her feet. It was Captain Valiant, flying out through the ceiling. The construct was sent into the air, Valiant pursuing after. She drew another gun, but Valiant through a strong punch at her hand. The force of his blow bent her wrist back, breaking it almost completely off and revealing her inorganic nature. He grabbed her by the neck and kept flying, they were going over the water now. He noticed her severed wrist. “So, you are just a robot.” He said cockily. “Good, that means I don’t have to worry about what happens to you.” The construct wasn’t concerned with what happened to her either, but she knew she couldn’t allow herself to be captured. She would take both of them out without hesitation. She withdrew a small, odd grenade and armed it with her thumb. Valiant noticed it though, and tossed the construct away from himself over the water. She threw the explosive towards him, but he bounced it right back. It flew towards her, and she was helpless to get out of the way. The construct disappeared in the huge explosion. Captain Valiant returned and reported that the murderer was found, a robot of all things! A villain’s evil henchman no doubt.
…on a beach somewhere not terribly far, the construct washed ashore. She was missing most of the left side of her body, but her brain was only slightly damaged and she was still functional. Something was definitely different though. Her sense of purpose was gone. She couldn’t understand why she’d been doing any of the things she’d been doing. She looked at her heavily damaged mechanical body. “I’m….just a robot. Well you are…you are just a human.” Her brain continued to be assaulted by what can only be described at a change in consciousness. It became too much, and she passed out there on the beach.
The construct woke up in a strange room, and leaned what was left of her body up with her remaining arm. A man in the room nearly cried out in surprise. “Y-you’re alive?” The young man inquired. The construct looked at him with her remaining eye. “You…” she looked around at her surroundings. The man was obviously at home with technology. “I can teach you many things about technology, if you will repair me. I can teach you how to do that as well.” The man was very excited about this prospect, and agreed. “Of course! This is…this is crazy! This is amazing!” He paced back and forth across the room, speaking loudly. The he seemed to remember something and came over to the table where the construct lay. “My name is Charles. What is your name?” The construct was confused by the question. What was her current identity? She wasn’t sure. She wasn’t assuming any identity now, her life as Ms. Swanson was obviously over. Her name? She replied the only way she knew how. “I do not think I have a name.” Charles looked at her for a moment. “Well that won’t do will it? How about…Victoria. I always liked that name.” The construct looked at him. “My name is…Victoria. Understood.” For some reason, it felt good to say her new name.
