Faith was exhausted. She let the beam that had been going fall. The new hero that had turned up seemed to have posed as some threat to Nightkill so obviously he was powerful enough and Faith hadn't eaten for a week. She let her wings beat heavily to and fro as she rubbed her head. She wasn't use to this hero shit and not having rested properly....

Ferrum raised his hands gathering more power, though his beam stayed in place as he sustained it with concentration, with a burst of energy his silver beam had a pulse bounding through it, heading through the beam struggle straight for the three heroes.
