Markos Jackson

As his shark persona he was typically raised with, Markos at times if often alert of his territories. Displaying prospects of a fearless leader, like the predator fish he is, Markos is often fearful of unknown subjects, therefore causing immediate defense, which sometimes leads to Markos getting into trouble. However, adapting to most human prospects while on land, he can be protective of others. His Renegade persona also adds a depth of resiliency against being lonely, which has been a positive attribute throughout his life. Despite his reputation as a monster, he is willing to put his attitudes down and stand up for whatever is reasonable at the time.

The Ocean was his playground when Mi'koro was born. Mi'koro was the twin boy of a Councilman's family in Atlantis. Displaying talents at a tender age of just three months, he was proclaimed by his father, a future Champion of Atlantis. During a migration to a separate community outside of the main city in Atlantis, baby Mi'koro was left behind after a foiled attack from rebels trying to assassinate the Councilman to weaken control across the Ocean. Mi'koro was thought to have possibly been left to die, until he was circled by a group of sympathetic sharks. Until he was about 3, they fed him,protected him from other sharks, and even taught him some of their techniques. With Mi'koro's atlantean connections, he soon began to be able to swim at the same speed as them. While migrating with them to escape the cold climate, he manage to find a small colony filled with Atlanteans like himself. After departing from his shark brethren, he entered the colony. He soon founded the Councilman, who recognized Mi'koro as his lost son, welcomed to boy home into his care. Surprised by his son's new found abilities during the time he was gone, he quickly took the boy and his twin sister into the care of an Academy in the main city of Atlantis. It was during this time that Mi'koro started learning about different aspects of aquatic life,specifically sharks. With the help of his sister, the two managed to recreate tissue regeneration and mimic echolocation used by sharks, which would soon be a valuable source for Mi'koro. The two took up studies in basics of their childhood in language until they were Nine. When they reached Thirteen, Mi'koro furthered his studies in Combat while his sister furthered hers in Science. Learning from the finest instructors, he learned subjects such as wielding a sword, learning to conjure things with water, and using telepathy to tame creatures to mount. When he was fifteen, he joined the Atlantean Army, where he stood alongside his father to serve their nation. Things changed however, during the civil war in their nation. Fighting rebels and other opposing forces, Mi'koro began realizing the true message behind the Resistances. Distrusted about murdering many martyrs that had shared some of Mi'koro's beliefs, he faked his death, and ran to the surface area. Mi'koro however, didnt last long as his atlantean background, prevented him from departing from water for more than several hours. He was found on the sidewalk near Lake Michigan by siblings who were playing on the beach. After taking him home, Mi'koro explained to them how he had nowhere to go. Several months, the family gladly decided to adopt Mi'koro into their family, where he change his name to Markos Jackson. Devastated by the violence and terror going on in Chicago, Markos remembered the story of those martyrs and vigilantes that fought for justice. He took up the name Mako, which was the name of a dominant shark that took care of him at birth, constructed a battle armor similar to those that he wore when he surfaced to earth, and became a freelancer.

As his atlantean forefathers are created with pioneering, Mako is able to manipulate any water/water-related substance within a 2 to 3yd. radius of Mako. When in possession of such substances, they can be used to his advantage(ie.Offense[Water Blasts,etc.],Defense[Shield,etc.],Transport[Wave,etc.]). Note:This power does not include blood and other necessities to life, so Mako cant such the life out of someone that easily with this power.

After learning this technique from his shark brethren, Mako took up studies in depth into this ability to try to expand it from sharks being able to regenerate kidneys, to Atlanteans regenerating tissue. Although study was a challenge to Mako and his aiding scientist sister, Mako managed to come up with this ability and tested it for results. The skill was able to be used, however, with Mako's best effort put towards the regeneration, he can only regenerate up to 30 cells per 1.3seconds. This technique is usually used by Mako to heal after receiving blows.

Another technique developed by sharks, Mako learnt of a distinctive way the sharks used to catch their pray,sonar. Despite his atlantean background,he could not try the technique without any technical support. With the aid of his sister, he was implanted with a chip that began changing his brain rhythms and helped him recreate low frequency sonar waves to track anything within a 50 mile radius on land and a 80 mile radius underwater.

After Mako was implanted with the chip, he soon began to realize that his waves also let out sound frequencies, that began to mimic languages and sounds made by most aquatic life. The results, led Mako to receive similar sounds in response. He began studying the sounds and memorized about over 30 ways to talk mentally to different aquatic species and use his studies in taming to communicate with them.
