”No hard feelings at all.” Colin said with a smirk, shaking his head and finishing off that apple he had been eating at for around a few minutes. It had been a pretty quiet day, and that meant that either other heroes were doing their jobs, or maybe crime was taking some sort of break for the day, not that it was very likely. She suggested they could go out and get some fresh air, after he cleaned himself up. It would be an easy process really.

”Alright, i'll do just that. Can't have my stench choking the entire city to death.” Colin snarked, before quickly searching around for where he remembered there to be a shower room, though he stopped off by the workout room for the change of clothes he had brought with him. Preparedness was something that Colin enjoyed dabbling in, so points for him I guess. The process of cleaning up and changing took around fifteen minutes, and then he was back on his way down downstairs where she was likely waiting for him.

”Okay, now i'm all clean.”

Annie leaned against the wall in the lobby, a bored look on her face. "You're quick. I'll give you that." She sniffed the air. "And you don't stink, which is also a plus." Annie smiled, the first time she had since the man had woken her up. She was in a better mood, now that she had gotten out of that stuffy room, and her teammate didn't smell. It was time to do what Annie did best. What she joined this group of heroes for in the first place.

"Well, if the crime isn't coming to us, why don't we go to the crime? Let's take a little patrol. We'll walk around the block. I'm sure there's some punk somewhere that we can beat up."

With that, Annie walked outside, expecting her partner to follow her. It was a beautiful day, considering the city that they were stationed in. She started regretting the decision to spend half the day napping on the couch.

”Well, i'm glad I don't stink.” Colin smirked, burying his hands into his pockets and sort of trailing along behind his fellow Guardian. Well, things seemed to be going fine as far as the day was anyway. He was getting to know one of his teammates, though the whole suggestion about going out to stop some crime to floor him a bit. Sure, she had her superpowers, but he was unsure if he could really do anything against any armed men in his current state. After all, all he could do was punch them and hope they go down, which was not always the case.

”A little patrol? I think I could do that, if you don't mind me not being so useful.” Colin noted with a shrug, following his friend out of the base. ”Since you're the super powered one, you should lead the way.”

Annie laughed. "Yes yes, I get it. Just think of this as a test of strength. We'll see how you can really fight without that special suit of yours."

She continued down the sidewalk. "I doubt there'll be any huge baddies at this time of day. Mostly just street-level punks who think they can take on trained people like us. You'd think that by now, they'd stop messing with us, but ah well. The world works in strange ways."

Annie pulled out her Guardians-issued communicator. One of the only pieces of modern technology she actually had an easy time with. Jeisen had shown her how to use it. She pulled up the local police reports.

"Ah, here we go. Local gang dispute just a few blocks away. I think we could settle that piecefully, don't you think? Come on."

With that, Annie unfurled her wings and took off down the street, flying just slow enough for her partner to keep up.
