Costume Description/Image: Black long-sleeved shirt, grey armor vest, black  gloves, tall black archer boots, lightly armored grey pants, a utility belt, and a black hooded cowl similar to Moon Knight's, only with this cowl his mouth shows. Also, a grey jacket with pockets.

Personality: Varied... he's no Superman. (i.e. he is well-rounded.) However, he tends to act a bit zen-like to the point of insanity while in costume. Basically, in school terms, he's that one kid who doesn't really fit into any group, but fits into many at the same time. He can be rather awkward, and can be a bit sarcastic at times. He constantly makes non-sequitur comments which, to him, make sense. He likes to read.

History: Jayce is a descendent of Arinth Shadow, one of the great warriors of the Night Zephyrs, part of a secret organization known as the Brother/Sisterhood of the Unbiased Hand... although he didn't know it until the flying cat showed up. This particular cat was actually Arinth's spirit reincarnated, and was able to communicate to Jayce through telepathy. It told him that the time had come for him to begin his training for a most important deed... to take his descendent's place as one of the Night Zephyrs. Naturally, Jayce thought that he had gone insane, and was starting to consider mental hospitals until he accidentally discovered the entrance to Arinth's lair in a cave by his house. From then on, under the cat's eye, Jayce trained as hard as he could, in order to one day rise up and take Arinth's place. Finally, after much vigorous training, Jayce has proved himself worthy to claim the mantle. He now stalks both day and night, keeping watch for threats at all times. He is El Cefiro... the Shadow of Justice!
Also, it should be mentioned that he lives with his parents, but they don't know about his secret activities and they don't really ask that much about his activites because his grades are very good and they trust him to do the right thing.


Powers: Super-enhanced reflexes... a side effect of his training. He's also proficient in hand-to-hand combat, and has some sort of weapon on him at all times. Especially one very specific one. He's stronger than normal human beings, can move at the same speed as a car, and getting shot does not kill him. (More information in Power Grid.) All of his powers are a result of his training except for his intelligence.

Oh, and he can function on 5 minutes of sleep, if he needs to.
