It's all about the money (open to all)

Los Angeles, California. A beautiful place to go all year around, save for one to a few days a year. Unfortunately one of these few days just so happened to be when Raja was visiting. He sat on a private jet, being escorted by none other than his old ally Jamison. He was apparently being transported here for many reasons. The people of Canada were no longer welcoming to the once king, and in a show of respect for the humans they live to serve, The Agency willingly told them they would relocate him to a place where he could not be of any threat to the people of Canada ever again. They were moving him to The United States. Raja would miss Canada, and the home is father carved out for him and his mother. The wealth they had accumulated, that Raja was now limited to due to Agency discretion. He would miss the people he once tried to save...but most of all, Raja would miss his garden.

Raja would miss stepping through the threshold to the large circular area that was at the center of the mansion, surrounded on all sides of nothing but a beautiful and miraculous sanctuary of some of the world's most exotic and unique flowers surrounding him. He would miss his daily walk through the garden, being content to look and take in the beauty of nature, humbling himself so much in the reverential beauty that he actually had his mansion built around it so that he could more readily attend to it. He'd always step forward and with his own two hands he would begin to water and feed the plants, even talking to them. He would miss talking to his plants, he would miss saying their names to them, each and every flower having a unique one. He would miss being able to smile for each and every one of them as he would tell them how much they had grown and how lovely they looked after all the years. His compliments, his praises were all individual and unique however. It had always been as if he had a personal relationship with all of the plants, and knew them all by heart. To him, he did. These were beautiful beings of life, each one as unique as the last. He knew every flower in this garden down to the detail. But most of all he would miss the rose of Gaia-anna most. the rose bush he received as a gift form a botanokinetic woman named "Gaia-anna". The last rose upon the bush was a sole survivor of a tragic blight that seemed to attack it's strange genome. Were it not for Raja, this rose would have vanished as well. It was a unique rose, one that was unable to be replicated. Not even the worlds finest technology or botanokinetics could ever perfectly replicate it. It was one of a kind, and it was quite easily Raja's favorite, a blend of beautiful orange, white and crimson with a faint glow...

To leave them was painful. He finally believed he had a sliver of a notion as to how God must feel. To know something, to LOVE something so much, yet to be so far away from it. Able to ensure it is cared for, it is loved and can flourish...but having to be separated. He could not blame the people of Canada however. No, for this was the bed he made for himself, when his revolution resulted in the death of over 8,000 people in a bloody event that would become marked in the history books as "The Annihilation". A joke on his name, but oh so fitting. Raja's jet landed in secrecy, and he excused himself to a personal car with his driver. The Agent driving him was to accompany him at all times, but alas that was part of life for Raja. His life was a trust-less one, as he would never truly gain trust from another who knew of his past. But that was the nature of repentance wasn't it? To return to the good that was in all of us? Raja was a good man once, a soldier then a businessman. But power does things to people. The power was not to blame however...it was his weak willpower. In his musings he had almost forgot that he had needed to make a stop. He leaned forward and let his knuckled lightly rap against the divider window, which slowly lowered.

"Yes, Mister Anniha?" The Agent asked, eyes still trained on the road but concealed beneath the standard sunglasses.

"I'd like to stop and check my savings. I'd like to start off my time with a clear budget." Raja stated. The Agent simply nodded his head and drove Raja to the nearest bank. Raja walked in, crisp white suit to match his groomed salt and pepper scattered colored goatee and his upkept hair. People shot him a couple glances but there was only whispers. No one cowering, no one trying to hold their children close, or throwing things at him and calling him a monster. It was...peaceful.

BLAHHHN BLAHHHN Oh wait, spoke too soon.

The alarms immediately took the attention of Raja who turned around and exited the door, putting a hand up at the Agent to stop him in his tracks. Raja made his way around the building, focusing to erect a barrier around the building, like catching a mouse in an upside down punch bowl. Upon finding himself around back he noted a man with a sack, who was filing it with money. Raja stood there with his usual kind smile and his hands in his jacket pocket. "Well now I'm not sure this is what the mean when the say a quick withdrawal." He say lightly as he examined the scene.

So this man needed the money more than the bank did. Well that's rather interesting, considering there are a lot of people who needed the money. Raja could agree that the wealth needed shared, but if this is peoples way of doing it then they are wrong and must be educated. Further more, making a comment such as "let me go and everyone can have a good night" only made Raja chuckle and shake his head. Unfortunately the man had no idea exactly what was happening, or about to happen. Raja shook his head and looked to the man with a sympathetic smile.

"Son, I think we both know I can't just let you do that." He said, talking to the man as Raja used his telekinesis to influence the direction of the video camera's focusing it on the man and himself, as he didn't even need to look at the camera's to do so he'd not reveal his discrete action. "Look, We all make mistakes. There's a lot of blood on my hands. As a US solider, as a metahuman, as a revolutionary. But this isn't the answer. What you're doing is not the answer. This is a mistake, and you know it... put the bag down and walk out with me. We'll get you out of here and away from the public eye until this dies down. But if you are really going to try and do this...I need to stop you. I don't want to...but I have to." Raja said, attempting to sympathize with the young man. Well he assumed it was a young man, it didn't sound overly old, it dressed young enough and to be honest Raja felt as though everyone under 40 was "son" to him.

He genuinely wanted to help this man, but if he chose this path...the wrong path, then Raja would need to save him from himself. Raja wasn't in this to kill... he was in this to save.

Raja stepped aside as the rock whizzed past. The man had jumped through the ceiling it would seem. Focusing his energy, Raja propelled himself upward, while focusing his powers to destabilize his molecular construction, allowing him to phase through the building and effectively follow the man up to the rooftops. (Raja used Divine Intervention). The rain was whipping, the confusion of the environment and the weather was symbolic. Raja had a sense for the symbolic as it was. The weather could be a representative of internal turmoil of the man, or the inner turmoil that Raja himself felt. Of course he was also the first to point out it could just be rain and there didn't have to be a cosmic coincidence behind it.

The man took off running and Raja sighed. Creating a personal barrier with his telekinesis, he then created a powerful concentrated telekinetic pulse behind him ,one that would clash with his personal barrier and utterly destroy it. His reasoning behind it, however was clearly because eh felt like being a living pinball,the way he fired himself off like this was very similar. He may not be able to run fast, this is true...but he can definitely throw his old-self. Meanwhile, while he was propelled at the man, he created a telekinetic barrier, an odd shade of golden amber energy danced to form in a wall-like structure, and surround the man and Raja, effectively trapping them both on the current rooftop. Raja had to stop himself obviously, but he was once again caught up with the man. Assistance with his telekinesis he managed to remove his own coat and roll up the white sleeves of his shirt, revealing the sole tattoo on interior side of his forearm. Raja was many things. A navy seal was one of them apparently. Despite him being an old man, he was more than ready to dance.

"Well, I'm not doing this for my health... but I might as well do it for yours." He said before cracking his knuckles and standing proud. "This is the last time I'm going to offer this. Drop the bag and we'll find a way to get you the money some other way. Keep the bag and you WILL regret it." It wasn't a threat, it was a genuine plea. Of course Raja didn't anticipate on this hot-head listening to him. But there were some people you simply couldn't save. Raja had to learn that brutal lesson a long, long time ago.

"I'm truly sorry it's come to this. But you've really left me with very little choice." Raja said plainly. His telekinetic abilities kicked it, relative ease as he started walking forwards towards the common thug. The man obviously had superior strength and speed, and in order to not damage himself with his own strength means he likely had durability as an advantage as well. Fortunately, Raja's faith in his telekinetic abilities weren't misplaced. Eyes still ahead at the robber as he walked, a small kinetic pulse rippled out, allowing Raja to sense the entire area around him. The pulse was so light it was less than a breeze, and with the current weather pattern it wouldn't be felt.

  Raja decided to give the man the first move. This was a conflict, and this man would either give up his ill gotten gains, or Raja would have to take it from him. Of course there was the small probability that Raja himself would lose, but by then it didn't matter. That trick with the camera back there was all he needed to have this person by the ropes even if the battle itself were lost.
