SHRPG High School Group C (Nekro, Khell, Steel Magnum, Fredpool)
Even the greatest heroes and darkest villains find their way to the realm of sleep. Responsibilities and plots fall away, for it was now time to rest, and recover and plan a new day at the following sunrise. Wherever they slept, wherever they laid down and closed their eyes, A far reaching hand touched their dreams, pulling them to another place.
BRRIIIIIIIING.
The Alarm Clock rings. The sun shone brightly into your bedroom, and the idyllic chirping of birds greet your early morning. You are in your bedroom, wearing your pajamas, living the life of a High School student in Japan. You live in a house that was likely Japanese Middle Class. The wall calendar had vague marks that suggested it was Monday. A familiar voice from downstairs calls your name, and calls again as your breakfast was getting cold, and that the school hour was upon you.
Xiao mumbled as she got out of her futon, slapping the Alarm Clock off and wiping the grimy sleep from her eyes. She stretches her arms and flexes, looking about with a daze then forcing herself to complete her morning rituals in a hurry. Xiao looked at herself happily in her full length mirror, her summer uniform complimenting her tall figure. She journeyed downstairs and was greeted by the sight of Ellie in her business attire leaving for work.
She rushed over to Ellie, helping fix her attire. "Take care, mom. Is your lunch all prepared?"
"They are. You're such a kind, considerate child." Ellie showed her the wrapped bento, then kissed Xiao on the cheek, who held on tightly.
"I love you!" Xiao said, making affectionate sounds to the woman she wished was her parent.
"I'll be home at the usual time. And your aunt Shauna will be visiting tonight, don't forget." Ellie said, then tried to go out the door. Only Xiao was holding her back.
"Really Xiao, Ellie is late, let her go to work already. And sit down, eat your breakfast." Su, Xiao's biological mother, scolded her. Ellie worms her way out of Xiao's hug and goes out the door. Xiao thought she saw Ellie smile.
"Sorry! I'll just eat it on the way." Xiao picked up the egg and fish fillet and put it on two loaves of bread, then was out the door herself.
Xiao was out the door with her backpack and breakfast sandwich, then hummed a tune. She passed by the houses of her close friends to call them for their usual walk to school.

Re: SHRPG High School Group C (Nekro, Khell, Steel Magnum, Fredpool)
The alarm clock rang loudily as the bed-ragged body of Hikari Nagato slumps into a sitting position with a long, deep groan. The sleepy girl slowly looks around her room, blinking her eyes at all the adorable anime stuffed toys, and posters of hard J-rock bands on her wall. She ran a hand through her short black hair, her fingers moving between the purple highlights of her bangs. She seemed confused for a moment, something seemed... out of place.. missing. Her e confusion disappeared as she looked at her clock. "...Damn it!" She hops out of bed and hurries to get her clothes on, wearing the traditional Japanese school girl outfit, with her own black hoodie over top of it.
Hikari hurries down stairs into the kitchen to only be stopped by her parents, who offered her morning toast. She looked up at them with a strange face, getting a hint of deja vu from the sight of them, shaking it off before walking past them. "No no, I'm already late. Bye Mom! Bye Dad! Love you both!" She bursts out of her front door and spies Xiao, her good friend, walking down the road. She slumps her bag over her left shoulder casually and walks over to her.
"Late too, huh?" She says with her usual defiant tone, her hands buried into the pockets of her sweater as she walks with Xiao.

Re: SHRPG High School Group C (Nekro, Khell, Steel Magnum, Fredpool)
Waking up about two hours before needing to get to work, Cromwell got up, exercised, got showered, dressed himself and started to prepare for the day ahead. Gathering his teaching materials, notebooks, class plans etc. into a shoulder bag before beginning to make breakfast for two.
When breakfast was about halfway ready, he hears an alarm clock go off on the upper floor to his humble home, signaling the impending rise of his "Little Dragoness."
Malys' alarm didn't really wake her up, she'd been awake since her father had risen an hour earlier but preferred to stay under the warm covers of her bed for a while longer, knowing that if she went back to sleep, she'd wind up sleeping through the alarm causing her father to come check on her. It wasn't always easy being a teacher's kid, especially if you wanted to fake sick to try and skip a day, but it definitely came with some perks, like being able to get help with almost any assignment or even sneaking a look at what the next class is going to be so you could be ahead of the other kids in class. After her alarm sounded, she quickly got up and into the shower, reveling in the warm water, she spent a few minutes longer than she initially planned before the smell of bacon and eggs wafted it's way up to her, an oddly western breakfast, but one of her favourites nonetheless. Getting dressed quickly she scampered down the stairs to find the breakfast that her father specialized in so well, the eggs were sunny-side-up with peameal bacon on the side and a slice of toast.
Cromwell smiles when Malys enters the kitchen, he adored his adopted daughter just as much as if she were his own flesh and blood, "Breakfast is served, my little dragoness."
Malys' face bunches up into a smile, "Dad, I'm a little too old now for the nickname, don't you think?" Running over and grabbing a plate before settling down at the table to eat.
"Never too old for it, that's why it's my nickname for you. It's not age dependant, it's fact." Digging into his own plate, silence settles over the table while the two share in the simple family activity of eating together, as a family.
Eventually it's time to get to the school, "Malys, make sure you have everything before we leave, wouldn't want you to be missing a textbook or key notes for your classes today." Malys grabs her bag and shoes before heading for the door, "Always have everything ready to go dad, wouldn't be a good class rep if I wasn't an exemplar of preparedness now would I?" a snide smirk crossing her lips before opening the door, "After you sensei." she says with an exaggerated bow while holding the door open.
Cromwell walks up to her and pats her on the head, smiling, "Smart-ass, that sharp tongue could get you into trouble one day but I'd only have myself to blame since I taught you how to use it." With that he steps outside and to his car while Malys closes and locks the door. The drive is uneventful and they arrive about 15 minutes before the bulk of the students start showing up at the gates of the school, both of them patiently wait outside in the courtyard in front of the school and watch as the rest of the students filter by, greeting some by name and getting "Good morning sensei" or "Hey Prez" in return while making sure that they get inside before the tone signaling them being late goes off.

Re: SHRPG High School Group C (Nekro, Khell, Steel Magnum, Fredpool)
"No, we've got just enough time before opening ceremony... how's your mom and dad?" She asked, greeting her friend with warm familiarity, without even realizing she didn't even know her name yet. They strolled down the street, past that student priced ramen place, the ice cream place, the convenience store, an old lady, a cat... and somehow reached the school gates as morning ceremony started.
Xiao greeted the teacher Khellendros and his daughter outside the gates, and eventually spots her other friends as well. Soon enough they would attend morning ceremony in the great hall, standing in alphabetical order by class. Principal Gwharr got on stage to address the school, his hair well groomed, dressed formally.
"Good morning, students." A loud chorus of good morning Principal followed.
"Good to see you all as always. our first order of business is the upcoming cultural festival. I know everyone is excited, and I expect enthusiasm from you all... and tasty baked goods from the home ec classes." Polite applause.
"Then, I'd like to announce that, despite being the middle of the school year, we've approved the formation of a light music club. Our musically inclined students are encouraged to join." Polite applause with lots of talking.
"Next, we've received word that the school swim team will be competing in the nationals. I'd like to congratulate the efforts of the team manager and captain, Hanna Boyles, everyone's favorite Seagirl... and the upcoming freshman Xiaolongu." Enthusiastic applause, with Xiao's classmates chanting Xiao's name a few times.
"Ahem. Finally, we have some new students transferring in mid year... you'll see them when you meet them in class." More excited whispering.
"That will be all. Learn well, my dear students!"
after hearing the speech from there, it would be off to first period, Home Room under professor Khellendros. This was when the transfer student would be coming in. Somehow every meta was in the same class, though they had their cliques. (This is where it gets tricky I guess?)

Re: SHRPG High School Group C (Nekro, Khell, Steel Magnum, Fredpool)
The news of a cultural festival peeved Hikari, the last thing she wants to do is walk around in a kimono. Those things are so loosely held together, she might as well be wearing a bathrobe. Not to mention she hates wearing dresses anyway, they always get caught on things while she walks.
Music club? Now that was something that was good to hear, Hikari just hopped it didn’t mean all the “kawai” girls would join and turn it all into a pinky J-pop mess. The only music the tomboy enjoyed was loud, fast paced, punk-rock. Anything else is too soft her her taste.
Hikari gives a soft clap in congratulations when her friend’s name was called. The swim team going to nationals, good for them. Hikari would have liked to be on the swim-team, she liked swimming, but she didn’t like the popularity contest that came with it. She would rather stay under the radar, away from “social politics”.
All the students were dismissed and Hikari began to walk to her class, hands deep into her hoodie’s pockets. She walked in, greeted the teacher with just a nod and walked down to her seat. All the way in the back, and right next to the window. This is a good place if you want to slack off, and not get caught.

Re: SHRPG High School Group C (Nekro, Khell, Steel Magnum, Fredpool)
The opening ceremony, boring with a sprinkle of important information, that's how both members of the Faust family perceived it.
Malys did take in the news of a light music club with some enthusiasm though, she could play a few instruments and she liked a range of genres, so she would probably enjoy that if she joined up, maybe her father would look after the club if she did? He likes all sorts of music both obscure and modern. The cultural festival on the other hand was a completely different matter. The amount of planning and details required to make a successful exhibit could generate quite a bit of stress, but she enjoyed that aspect and working with the other students in her class, even if they generally treated her differently because of her being the teachers daughter, because of this, she really didn't have friends but the other students did come to her for help more often than not when they figured going to her father wasn't really an option.
Khellendros didn't really care for any of the details in the ceremony other than the music club being approved, Maybe Malys will join up and make some friends, I can't be the only person in her life forever. Once the ceremony was over and everyone headed to class, he allowed for everyone to file into the classroom before making an entrance himself, scanning the classroom with his bespectacled golden eyes for where people chose to sit. "Everyone take your seats." The next statement was made with much sarcasm, "I'm sure you all are very excited for your midterms and future learning opportunities." And then he got into the thick of it, "Now to discuss the upcoming culture festival, I have a ballot box somewhere... AH! Here it is." He produces a large, metal box with inscriptions carved into it and a slot in the top and slams it down onto his desk with a loud CLANG to wake up anyone who had already managed to nod off, very elaborate looking for the purpose it was to be used for. "We can put it to a vote after we get a list of suggestions. Does anyone have any suggestions for a theme for our class entry?" Singling out a student who looked like they were trying to hide was one of his favourite pastimes, leaning onto his desk elbows first, he puts the tips of his fingers together like one of those evil masterminds you see on TV and locks eyes with his victims, oops I mean students, over them, his gaze piercing each in turn, waiting for any of them to take up the challenge.

SHRPG High School Group C (Nekro, Khell, Steel Magnum, Fredpool)
Slowly coming to its senses the under-slept body of Aiden slowly slumped up, using his elbows as supports to stay up. Looking around he saw the results of his previous night: Alcohol bottle spread out everywhere, ripped paperwork all over the floor, a small puddle of what looked like his last meal in the corner of his room and his door blockaded by various chairs and a desk. As he focused, Aiden saw the clock in the corner of his room. Although it was very crooked and nearly falling off the wall he could see that he was late for another day of the same old crap he was used to. Getting up off his mattress on the floor he proceeded to get his Purple Shirt on and his jeans with the black hoodie and then moved all the chairs and his desk out the way off his door. "Ugh, why the crap did I do this again?" he thought to himself, not wanting to waste his breath on a sentence no one, not even himself, would even hear. Right before he left, Aiden remembered the one thing he always hated thinking about. He opened the top drawer of his desk and put his hearing aids in.
Although he hated it, being late again would do more harm than good. Aiden ran through a handful of alley ways and even ended up running through the back entrance to a kitchen and out the front but eventually he had made it to School. "Oh boy!" he said sarcastically, barely hearing his own voice. "Cant wait to go in and learn everything I already know! Especially from a person who doesn't even know what they're talking about!" he continued. Walking through the Halls, Aiden knew that he had missed the opening ceremony, he really couldn't care less though. Opening the door to class he didnt even pay attention to the people staring at him for being late. As he walked by Khell, Aiden noticed the box with carvings on it. Aiden simply said "Nice box"

Re: SHRPG High School Group C (Nekro, Khell, Steel Magnum, Fredpool)
The recent warming climate had contributed to a large number of ideas related to cold foods such as smoothies, milk shakes, homemade ice cream and so on. The suggestions came and went quickly enough, and Khellendros's box would be full before he realized it. The boys all clamored for Xiao to take the lead, as not only was she the rising star on the swim team, she was also an ace in home economics.
Around this time Aiden was ushered into the room by the laughter filled greeting of his classmates. Aiden's seat it seemed, was next to Xiao in the back.
The girls meanwhile, rooted for the young bishounen seated in front of Xiao. Ellie Wong (in male uniform), class president and came from a powerful business family. The handsome young (wo)man had a reputation for making business type booths succeed. Ellie stood up and started talking about (her) his ideas to maximize exposure and income, citing her classmate's strengths.
Xiao meanwhile, looked at the shorter Ellie rather dreamily.
"Ellie is amazing isn't he..." A classmate of Xiao muttered her way.
"Wha? what are you talking about?!" Xiao turned all red when addressed by the vaguely human classmate.
"Haven't you confessed yet, Xiao? You planned to, right?" Those classmates teased Xiao, and she could only sit there and be quiet about it.
The door opened a second time, and in came another female student. A redheaded lady with a very demure look, and spoke with a sweet and friendly tone. She seemed a bit too mature to be a student... but nobody really cared. There was something about her magnetism, her poise that seemed to cast a net over the eyes of any who looked upon her.
"Hello. I'm Erika. This is my class, I believe." She said with a most alluring voice. The boys began muttering among themselves. Xiao though, felt her heart sank, as even Ellie seemed so lovestruck staring at Erika... and sat next to him too.

"Hello. I'm Erika. This is my class, I believe." She said with a most alluring voice. The boys began muttering among themselves. Xiao though, felt her heart sank, as even Ellie seemed so lovestruck staring at Erika... and sat next to him too.

Re: SHRPG High School Group C (Nekro, Khell, Steel Magnum, Fredpool)
Hikari’s focus on the clouds was abruptly broken by the slamming of the teacher’s book on his desk, a nice show of violence is a great way to show authority apparently. She blinks her dark brown eyes and looks at her ‘sensei’ with a dull, “I really don’t give a shit” look as he asks about the theme of the culture festival. She really doesn’t, those type of themed holidays only succeeded at boring the life out of her, she’d rather go to illegal street races, or underground night clubs.
Great, a ballot box, this means I have to participate.. she thinks her herself, letting out a silent groan of annoyance. She doesn’t want to be bothered with this crap, she just wants to go through school and get it over with. That being said, Hikari’s eyes slowly drift right back to the window, watching the clouds move as she tunes everything else out.
Then came the new girl, Erika. Hikari’s eyes once again was taken off the window and were fixed on the new girl. There was something about her, she had an aura about her making Hikari feel as though she wants to talk to her, be her friend, or more. This is weird.. she thinks to herself ..I don’t know nothing about this girl, but somehow I want to be close to her..? The schoolgirl’s cheeks flash a bit of red before she yanks her focus away from the new girl, going back to her window, a little freaked out at what just happened.
Today has been really weird for Hikari, she woke up and saw her parents just like everyday, but she somehow felt like it was the first time seeing them in years. She also noticed that everyone spoke japanese and read japanese, yet she was thinking in english? Now there was this new girl.. who gave Hikari a strange feeling in her gut. This may be just her being tired with her head in the clouds, but today was still weird.

Re: SHRPG High School Group C (Nekro, Khell, Steel Magnum, Fredpool)
Khell waited patiently while the students wrote out their suggestions and placed them in the box, he was also curious as to who the class would nominate to be the organizers for their chosen theme. He figured that the class president and Xiao would get pushed into it due to their classroom popularity, but that left about 2-3 more spaces to fill out for their committee. They'll probably thrust some of the burden onto Malys because she is incredibly good at giving direction to others, but who would the others b- His thoughts are interrupted by the entrance of Erika, upon introducing herself, he quickly appraised his new pupil over his glasses. "Yes I was made aware of your entrance into my class. Please, take a seat and be welcome amongst your new classmates. Everyone, please make sure to give Erika any assistance she may require to integrate well," he slowly scans around the room, his gaze lingering on Hikari and Aiden in particular lastly giving a meaningful glance and nod to his own daughter, "wouldn't want anyone to feel left out amongst the crowd now would we?"
Malys got the hint right away, "Sure thing Mr. Faust! Erika, I believe we have a free seat over by the class president, Ellie is right over there in front of Xiao, the really pretty and tall girl over there." Gesturing towards them, she then turned to the rest of the class, "Has everyone put their suggestions in the box? Great! Let's tally up all the suggestions and get a group of organizers together."
...
"The results are in, Xiao, Ellie, Malys, Erika, Aiden and Hikari will be the organizational committee, congratulations and good luck on your assignment. The chosen theme is... a maid café? Guys, we really need to work on this whole stereotypical nonsense, oh well nevermind it, far better than some of the other suggestions that were given..." What were they again? What did the ballots say? Oh well, not really relevant since things are settled He glares around the classroom at this statement, "You know who you people are." Why the hell was that appropriate to say? I don't even remember what the ballots said. Settling back behind his desk, he puts the box away and locks it into the drawer of his desk for safe keeping. "You have the rest of this period to get started on your plans for the festival." After that, he pulls out a book and starts to read while leaving the class to it's own devices.
Malys actually liked the idea of a maid café, it would give her the chance to show off some of her skills at both organizing and making costumes, she enjoyed sewing immensely, even if she wasn't entirely certain how she learned to do it. "So what kind of stuff should we serve at this thing? Tea and coffee are obvious, but what kind of desserts? I know Xiao is REALLY good at making all sorts of things, isn't this exciting?" Looking to her fellow classmates expectantly, she knew what Hikari and Aiden's responses were probably going to be, she wasn't even sure why they got added onto the committee aside from the fact that they needed to fill the spots and no one else wanted to take them, she knew Aiden was musically inclined but nothing about Hikari, she was an introvert as far as Malys knew, Kind of like me, except for not really being interested in class at all... "I hope we can work together and make this a success!"

SHRPG High School Group C (Nekro, Khell, Steel Magnum, Fredpool)
"Are you kidding me?" Aiden thought to himself as he moved over to his new 'Team mates'. As he sat down he noticed a brief burst of the color red come out of no where, right where the drawer was. It quickly dissipated and he thought no more of it. A simple change in the lighting is all. Paying some attention to Malys. Deciding against his better more selfish judgment, Aiden spoke up to Malys. "I can do the music there. I know how to work the machines n stuff. If you need my help that is, if theres someone else who's mor-" He quickly got interrupted by a piercing screeching sound in his ears. He quickly clenched his hands around his head in pain for a few seconds until the noise stopped. Acting as if nothing happened, Aiden slumped back down into his chair. "Because out of all the big aspirations Mom and Dad had for me, Im stuck doing this....". He got up and walked over to Xiao, knowing that he was someone that he could try and fit in with. "I dont know about you, but this isn't my kind of thing to do. If you want it to be easy you can try music with me, I'll do all the tech stuff." he said to Xiao. Aiden didn't know why he was doing this. It was unlike him to talk to anyone here. He had just felt the need to try and communicate with someone. "But yeah" he said to Malys. "I can try to do the music stuff. Just leave it to me, I'll try not to let you down"

Re: SHRPG High School Group C (Nekro, Khell, Steel Magnum, Fredpool)
Xiao's disheartened state was set aside for a moment when the committee members came together briefly... for a few minutes? half an hour? In the classroom? The hall? Didn't matter. Xiao ran with it and gave her feedback. "On the top of my head, we can do butter chiffon, moist chocolate cake, blueberry or strawberry cheesecake, and maybe a mango-peach cake...." She listed the desserts she knew she made personally before, though her eyes were quick to dart to Ellie, then to Erika, the scene stealer.
Xiao turned to Aiden. "Music would be nice. Cafes usually go for Kpop, Jpop, soft jazz, those kinds of things. Thanks so much." Xiao said to Aiden, feeling like she'd known him for a long time and yet again, didn't notice she didn't address him- or any of the members- by name. She only knew Ellie by heart... then Erika. Somehow.
The class day seemed to pass by in an uneventful blur of all the boring subjects and the slightly more eventful sports activities days... then fade to white.
BRIIIIIIIIIIING.
The Alarm Clock rings. The sun shone brightly into your bedroom, and the idyllic chirping of birds greet your early morning. You are in your bedroom, wearing your pajamas, living the life of a High School student in Japan. You live in a house that was likely Japanese Middle Class.
The Calendar was marked vaguely as the day of the Festival. Xiao got up and headed downstairs for her usual routine, greeting her father Long Fang as he was out to go to work and her mother Suyin, getting her help for baking. Wait, their small kitchen had the mixer and oven for this kind of huge assignment?
Xiao looked at a corner of the bigger kitchen and there they were.
All the ingredients she needed were there on the breakfast counter. All the recipes were already in Xiao's head. All she needed now was to... bake. Yes, bake with mother.
The work went by in a blur of exercised routines, precise measurements and a hot, baking oven. By mid morning Xiao had five cakes ready and boxed away for the Festival.
The Festival. Right. everyone was counting on Xiao's cakes. Especially this special heart shaped one she was going to give to Ellie today.
The Campus grounds were prettied up especially for today, with all the booths and banners, and young people eager to get into the festival spirit. Xiao's class maid cafe had all the prettiest students in French maid uniforms while the gentlemen were in butler uniforms, though again the class idol Erika seemed to stand out leagues even though her contributions were... something?
Xiao didn't have time as she put her heart into taking orders and serving her cakes. She was a bit worried she didn't make enough as the house oven only had capacity for three. Then she saw Erika also brought her own cakes, twice as many and seemed to selling faster. So Erika also baked? Well, that was a relief, Xiao was worried they might have been short. Xiao was thankful and-
What? you aren't jealous?
A negative thought crossed Xiao's mind. Wait. She was the class baker. She was supposed to bring the A-game to the Cafe, and it was her the class was banking on... and now Erika upstaged her? how dare she?
But cooperating was more constructive and harmonious. As long as everyone's orders were met, and the cafe didn't run out everything would be fine.
Xiao snapped out of her thinking and focused on her actions for the greater good of the class's success.
