An awkward reunion? Impossible. (Potato)

For the longest time Artemis had gone MIA. After becoming a spirit of nature and all living in a suburban area and a house left her restless. And when she got restless she got destructive. And when that happened she got in trouble. So one day she just vanished. No one had expected it or had been able to find her. Artemis had gone back to living in a wild, away from her friends and the two who claimed to be her children. Even though she still had trouble believing that they where hers she had kind of adopted them mentally so they where as good as her own. Although there was one person she couldn't escape. That slightly annoying, know-it-all fox Nikara. She claimed she was an assistant to the original Fera but would never answer her questions. Although Artemis had seemingly escaped her for now.

Artemis had recently returned to LA for a bit, not really for any reason she had just happened to stop here. She was currently in a wooded area by a strange building. The building was two stories high and and a pristinely cut grass all the way up to the forest Artemis was currently in. The foliage after t hat ran wild, giving Artemis aplenty to hide in. She had been lazing the day away in wolf form, watching the interesting inhabitants of this extremely large and well kept home. Their lawn had white lines all over it and around those white lines was a large circle that looked like to be made of some sort of stone. In the back of her mind Artemis wondered what was going on. Throughout people came in and out of the building. Every hour or so a new group of people who copy what the group before them did. Jump up and down, move their bodies around awkwardly, stretch, running around the stone circle and then break up into different activities. Mostly involving kicking or tossing a ball. It was strange and she wondered why they did that.

It was just shortly after 1:30, the last group had gone inside and the next group came out then. A familiar scent. Artemis' ears perked up and the scent reached her nose. Sniff the air her tail wagged, Yamm. She watched from a distance, trying to figure out which is Yamm. After a few minutes Artemis saw him. He had just started to run along side the other people in the group, possibly talking to them. Artemis couldn't help it anymore, she bolted from the forest. In a matter of moments the copper and grey wolf was nearly caught up to the group of runners, although she didn't care about the reactions of the others. Once she caught up to Yamm she jumped on him. She would attempt to knock him over, putting all of her weight onto him. After that she would begin to lick him, transforming into a human mid lick.

"Hello Dragon Boy." said Artemis in a seductive tone after licking him. After that she would attempt to kiss him, going all out and not caring about people who may be watching.

"Well I don't know what to do man." He said honestly as he shook his head. This wasn't exactly a typical thing you talked about. Especially not Matt. The dude had a girlfriend and he was probably the most regular guy there. He didn't WANT to be in this situation, let alone with a dude. This was bad, real bad. He had a friend he could confide in, someone who wasn't exactly...normal. Granted this was California, this thing wasn't a big deal but still. It was a big deal for him. This came literally out of nowhere. That fucking Dragon was messing with his sexuality now. That was not cool man. Totally lame and totally gay. Pun semi-intended.

"Dude, it happens. Just...take a deep breath. You're still into Sarah right?" Blair asked with a crooked smile and an arched eyebrow. Cocky son of a bitch was enjoying all the internal turmoil, Matt just knew it. That was the problem of having an apprentice, and being the incarnation of a Primordial who was a total slut and had over 10,000 kids running about. Okay maybe they weren't all kids, but they were descendants. Regardless, Blair was actually amused by this. That thought didn't please Matt at all and the glare on his face made it clear to his friend that this wasn't something that was amusing. "Glare's not gonna answer me, dragon boy." He said with a chuckle as he walked past. Matt rolled his eyes and followed Blair out the door and to the line they followed in P.E. They'd eventually make their way outside to do their warm-up laps before a game of some kind, but for the time being he was still talking to Blair.

"Well yeah... I do... I REALLY do. She's not like...well, anyone. I mean... yeah. No you're right. I'm with Sarah, it's not a big deal. The Dragon got excited, I made a mistake and now I'm just...confused. Because of the dragon. Inside me." Matt said, though his choice of wording seemed to spark a sort of unsure or overly cautious leering from his blonde friend. They began to do their warm-up laps, like they did every day in gym. Matt was at the front of the pack, as always, but he couldn't help but talk to Blair as they ran. "So ya don't think I have anything to worry about?" He asked. Blair gave a glance over his shoulder and looked to Matt before he picked up speed. Matt recognized that it was to put distance between the, and other eavesdroppers. Once they were far enough ahead they decelerated a little, a more regulated and less tiring pace.

"I think you're thinking too much into it. The Dragon was grateful that the little thing saved hid life. Little thing, from what you're telling me, is a Virgin. Yamm is a Dragon. It's only natural to want to keep it for yourself. Now as far as feeling awkward around him...well let's face it man. You're not...YOU anymore. You're a primordial being. It's not like things like that really matter. It's also not like you just suddenly stopped liking Sarah. You just...gotta find that Balance. What does the Dragon want, and what does Matt want. Make sense?" Blair asked before beginning to pant a little, the continual running and talking was difficult.

"Yeah, I guess. I mean I just don't want to be a fre-OPH!" Matt started before he was sent reeling back, a copper and grey furred beast propelling it's full weight into him. Matt literally rolled two or three times before ending up on his back, this furred beast on top of him. Awe, it was a dog. A big dog, but a pretty dog. It decided to lick him. Of course he only found it cute and endearing before he found himself on the receiving end of a human tongue. "Oh GOD IT's YOU!" Matt replied as he tried to shove Artemis off, though at the moment it didn't do too much. Why was it ever time he saw this girl she was sticking her tongue in his mouth? Also why did he always kiss back? No wonder this bitch kept coming back. Okay, being a great kisser aside, he stopped this right here and now by using his Chaos control and pushing her off, not particularly caring if anyone saw him a s a freakish metahuman.

The humans began to gather around, Matt didn't have too much suspicion at the moment, but the randomly naked girl making him feel flushed and awkward wasn't helping. "Well at least we know you still like girls..." Blair murmured, causing Matt to look at him, both shocked and slightly appauled at this honest observation as Matt shifted himself around.

Artemis' eyes widened as Yamm threw her off of him. She landed on butt onto grass next to him the grass. The scantily clad shapeshifter burst out into tears. Although Yamm would be able to tell that they weren't really.

"Yamm doesn't like me anymore. Did that time in the cave mean nothing to you. Don't you remember me!" cried Artemis. Around this time the rest of his classmates where moving in closer to get a better look. A lot of them had ran when they saw the wolf running up but then got confused when Artemis shifted forms. A bunch of murmuring and giggling could be heard from the group of teens that now where surround the two. Some of them even snuck out there phones to take a quick photo before hiding them again. Some would use it as a photo to pass around and spread rumors. Others, mostly the guys who had their phones on them, where taking pictures of Artemis for obvious reasons. After a few moments and large, burly man ran up to the group. His face was was a beet red, although Artemis got the feeling it was like that even when this man wasn't angry.

"Miss do you have any idea where you are. You are trespassing on school ground and you assaulted a student! I have contacted security and they will escort you of the premises and if you are lucky this boy's family will not file a lawsuit." said the teacher, who honestly looked like she was struggling just to get up to the group. Artemis' crocodile tears vanished in an instant and she shot up and approached the teacher. She was a dwarf compared to him, this man was seemingly larger then life.

"I would like to see you try." warned Artemis, honestly having no idea what half the words the man said although it sounded like a threat so Artemis went on the offensive. Her entire body tensed as if it was about to strike. After a bit the teacher seemed to be getting nervous, which caused Artemis to smile. A low pitched growl emanated from her throat. To people who didn't just see her shape shift it would seem weird.

Strange days were not unusual for Alexander, actually they had become the norm upon meeting Matt and nearly being killed by the strange monsters he had once thought were nonexistent. That had felt like a lifetime ago, and now he was back at school, or rather the school that he had gone to where he met Matt of all people. The male doing a slow jog, enough of one that Matt and his friend Blair were able to run ahead of them, talking about something and yet he was not sure what they were talking about. All he knew was that he was not made for physical exertion, made evident by the small bead of sweat that was running down his forehead and the rather labored breathing he was beginning to make. The unexpected always happened, but wolves tackling students was not something that he was used to seeing, especially when they were licking a friend of his face.

Things only got stranger when that wolf turned into a woman and kissed that friend. ”W..what?” he muttered stopping within his jog as the scene unfolded and he was shocked, sort of standing there with hands fallen to his side, until that new kid which was supposedly dead but not stopped by.

”Woah.” He would say in that husky tone of his, as if he were as surprised as he was. ”hey bitch, that's mine.” He growled, with arms crossed over his chest and approaching the scene. Okay, so now Shael was acting strange, adding another layer of weird to this day. To be honest he could have done without all of the phones snapping pictures as well. No, this was not going well for Matt at all, and not much he could do about this, without being labeled a metahuman himself.

”You have got to be kidding me.” Another familiar voice, Sarah Smith as she went by, though she had a true name, Fera if he remembered. The angry redhead was trampling through the crowd, a look of pure rage upon an an otherwise unphased face, emerald eyes boiling over. He was surprised she wasn't carrying a weapon of any kind, though something told him that she so wanted to be. With an impressive pace, she would step ahead of the now frightened hulk of a teacher, pressing a single hand against his chest as if telling him to back off. Normally this would not have worked, but in this case it seemed to have, as he did just that. ”Listen here you dumb ass slut. I don't know what you are trying to pull but this....this.” She trailed off with a growl, removing her phone from her skirt and flashing the picture upon the screen to the shapeshifter. ”You disappear for months on end, and the next time I hear of you is kissing one of my classmates. Congrats, my dad was right about you.”

All Alex could think was.....what the hell is happening?

Okay so total chaos had ensued since Artemis had come onto the scene. Yeah that's a typical occurrence. the dragon within said, a tinge of amusement in his voice as it echoed. That was the problem with interior monologues, it came to the issue of an echoing inner voice. One that no one else could hear. Stupid dragons and the echoing voices. Seriously, why did they echo, it's not like he was hollow or anything. Okay so Artemis isn't dead. This is good. Ya see here, this is one of my friends-I know who Artemis is, make her go away! Matt demanded as he looked to Artemis. Oh damn, she was crying. Unfortunately it wasn't in his nature to be okay with seeing a girl cry. After all Artemis was a dumb person right? She could be educated-

HAH! Educated, and Artemis!? That's almost as funny as you thinking those tears are real. The Dragon sniggered as it noted the internal torment of the mortal boy. She's faking it? That whore! Make her leave! The Dragon let out a little chuckle as Matt stepped back, the Gym teacher standing between him and Artemis. People were taking pictures with their phones, it was awful for him honestly. The Rumors and the potential disaster that could come from this was BAAAD. You really wanna get rid of her? Fill dat bitch with yo baby batter and tell her to come back later. Immediately Matt closed his eyes and began to rub his eyes and shake his head. If only that would get rid of the voice.

"I would like to see you try." Artemis responded to the teacher. You gotta do something about her before she hurts someone! Matt protested as he knew the looming threats of Artemis were real. I actually want to see them try..."Right well. No help there." Matt muttered as he looked to Alex with a confused look and then looking to Shael. He then used no restraint as he tried to give Shael a charlie horse, the chaos that Artemis caused made sure that it was no small strength behind it. After all she did cause emotional chaos, she caused confusion to everyone, threats were thrown around, rumors were now beginning and circulating. Honestly right now Yamm was a bank robbery, an act of terrorism and a war away from being at his prime.

"I'm not YOURS you little queer." He snapped as he looked back to Alex. He held his hands up into the air as if asking what to do. Blair was talking to him, but he ignored him, and there were tons of people asking him questions that he couldn't be bothered to answer at this point in time.

"Oh Hey Fera." said Artemis with a smile. She got up and gave her daughter a hug, seemingly unaware of how angry she was. She seemed happy enough to see her daughter to. If she knew Fera was angry then she didn't show.

"Awww... I think you are a slut too Fera." said Artemis, obviously unaware of what the word truly meant. Artemis had heard it so many time by now she figured the word meant friend. The rest of the words Fera said made no sense to her. She would have to ask later on what a dummas was. She pulled away from the hug and ran over and hug Shael. He looked different but he sure smelt the same.

"Aww... Shael thinks he's got a mate that's adorable, nice to know you are not humping the TV anymore. But dragon boy is mine." said Artemis. She seemed happy now, mainly to see that her pack was still alive. She began to walk back to Matt, simply pushing pass the teacher but then stood in front of Yamm's friend. Not trying to worry to much about him She simply tried to move around him to pull Matt into a hug.

There was an angry Fera, a territorial Shael and a confused Alex, this situation was not going well at all. Well, that was the case until Shael let out a low yelping sound,  granted the damage done was greater than intended but the male played it off rather gracefully, for a slightly cracked bone anyway, which involved a lot of pained groaning and gripping the damaged limb. One thing that was obvious was that Fera was far more pissed now, upon being called a slut an then being hugged, Alex was readying for whatever damage that the mad looking red head would do. ”Did....she call me a slut?” Fera muttered to herself almost surprised by this sudden insult, not ware of what Artemis meant by that at all. ”Matricide is looking really good right now.” he muttered before noting something off with Shael, who only seemed to be looking more pained after the hug.

”You, bitch, back off the dragon.” Fera snapped, attempting to grab Artemis by the back of her hair and throw her back. ”Look I normally don't mind someone hopelessly chasing after someone that will never like them, I mean i've seen the whole thing before, but seriously, I do not have time for this right now.” Taking advantage of the whole dip within chaos, Alexander moved closer to the whole scene, with hands buried into his pockets.

”What's going on right now?” He asked loud enough for Matt to hear, looking from Fera, to Shael and then to Artemis.

Unfortunately for Artemis this particular "friend" was essentially the dumb fox spirit to Matt's Artemis. Another "unfortunate" coincidence was that it was quire clear getting around him was no simple feat. Not so unfortunate Yamm managed to look to Alex and shrug helplessly. He looked to Shael with an arched eyebrow. Bitch, you're MINE if anything. Little punk. The dragon sniggered before Matt shook his head. He did NOT want to know what that meant at all. Apparently this dragon was territorial of his friend? Uh, sure. Yeah. Territorial of my friends. Totally. Matt sighed and groaned, now having to force out of his head the unwanted implications of the intentionally suspicious dragon.

"Guys..." Matt said. The teacher was now waving in the air as flashing red and blue lights pulled into the drive. Blair was mouthing off to Artemis. "Sorry cutie. Not gettin' past me. Spirit or no spirit." He said with a smirk. Meanwhile Fera was still riding the red-tide in rampage. "G-guys!" He stated. Authorities were actually arming themselves now and the students began to step back and out of the way, the whispers still growing. "GUYS!" He said even louder. At this point he was convinced the only one listening to him was Alex, and he wasn't even certain of that. It was finally that the authorities arrived that with guns drawn at the "metahuman" spirit and one hand up.

"Step away from the school kids and put your hands on your head." The first cop said. Dude! Watch her confuse this for Simon Says! Ancient primordial uses the word "dude".... ugh. Knowing her she'll lip-rape the cop, or she'll claim she's not his dog and then go for the jugular. Either way it's going to be funny! but all he could think of was how awful this was going to be for the cops...and his reputation. "Don't make any sudden movements." his partner ordered as the gun was still trained on Artemis.

Artemis had an upset look on her face when Blair wouldn't move out of the way. But then was slightly surprised when he mentioned her being a spirit. But before Artemis was able ask how she was grabbed by the hair a yanked back, adding to the confused look on her face. She stumbled back a bit but in the end remain on her feet.

"Ow!" said Artemis, shooting her daughter an evil look. Fera went off on her for a bit, Artemis only understood a bit of what she said but got the general gist of what she was saying.

"Fera I know I'm not a good alpha for you or Shael. There is a reason I stay away. Just please let me have this." said Artemis is a shocking display of seriousness. It probably would be a surprise to most people in ear shot. It was rare for Artemis to actually say something what didn't completely annoy somebody let alone something that sounded remotely somber. It would of been a nice moment overall if they group wasn't interrupted by police. Artemis' attention shot to the police who where pointing... umm crap what where they called? Noise sticks? No that's not right, gums? Yeah gums sounded. A smirk crawled on Artemis' face when the challenge was issued. With out saying a word she shrunk down to the size of a field mouse and darted towards the police officers.

At first the officers where shocked at Artemis' apparent disappearance but after cursing they started to look around and find her. They stayed close together which made it easy for Artemis. By the time they noticed the copper colored field mouse running towards them she was only a few feet away. A few shots where fired, they got close but missed in the end. Artemis got between the and shifted once more. This time she shifted into a large copper scaled dragon. It was a standard western style dragon and she towered over the officers. She stood at 15 feet tall and 20 feet long, 25 if you included the spiked tail she had. Although for a dragon she was rather small. She swatted at the fit officer, hitting him with the center of her paw. it caused him to fly a few feet in the before landing on the ground. The officer stirred for a bit but collapsed after trying to move. There was a gun shot and a small caliber bullet bounced harmlessly off her scales. She turned around, roared, then swatting this officer with her paw. He met a similar fate as his partner, groaning before passing out. After that Artemis shifted back into her human form and walked towards the group once again.

”Yeah....no. You get nothing.” Fera shot back with a growl, already aware of the cops that had made their way onto the scene, though they seemed to turn their guns upon her poor stupid mother rather than her. The shapeshifter had went from being her stupid human form, to a mouse and then becoming a dragon, assaulting the officers as if that was a brilliant idea. Honestly, if Alex had known her, then he would have not been surprised but he didn't so that was why he was absolutely surprised by the sudden assault of the officers. ”Okay, thats enough of that. I can't have you ruining my reputation by even being associated with you.” She muttered letting her influence stretch out much like a net, grasping over any mind that she could influence and within a few seconds the crowd would begin to disperse.

You could say that was one way of getting rid of witnesses short of killing them all, and this was perhaps the most efficient, save for the unconscious cops. ”Wow, nice one Fera.” Shael noted with a grin, before wincing and placing a hand over his right arm.

”What did you do to yourself now?” Fera sighed, turning her unending rage from Artemis to her twin, who seemed to be having something wrong with his arm.

”Looks broken to me.” An unmistakably male voice noted, Fera turning to see Jordan of all people examining Shael's arm. His small fingers delicately ran over the tan flesh, before he made his final verdict and looked to the ones that were not knocked out. ”Not a problem though, I can fix this right up.” he added, before beginning to do just that, letting a small amount of soft green mist leak from his fingertips and wrap around the damaged arm, before it faded away just as quick. ”So did I miss anything?” He would ask before turning towards the dragon, and the unconscious officers. ”From what it looks like, I missed a lot.” That was something that Alex could agree with, considering that so much had seemingly happened within a small span of time, though he was still confused as to who the woman was beyond having some connection to the red haired female.

Okay so this shit just got real. Artemis just turned into a fucking dragon. Ya see. This is what happens when I leave YOU in charge. Chaos, chaos everywhere. This is how you know that you're me kid. We both bring Chaos. It's who we are. It's what we are. The dragon within was enjoying this, though it wasn't easy for Matt to keep himself "grounded" so to speak. Apparently he had broken Shael's arm. Well fuck this, you know what, fuck all of this. This was literally too much for him to handle right now. He had some guy who wanted to mount him, that kid's mom who wants him to mount her, and that kid's sister mind-wiping everyone. Oh and let's not forget that the kid's dad created a mini version of himself that he's been having awkward sexual tension with. The only solid people in his life were Alexander and Blair. Wait, scratch that.

"Wow, you call that a dragon form? Bitch you're just a whelp ain'tcha? Haha. Gotta admit, you got a spark in ya. I'd give ya Yamm but I'm pretty sure he's still adapting to being a poor human boy. So why don't ya make life easy and lay off while he adjusts. You really want to have this "one thing" why don't you try to help him get comfortable rather than try and chase him off." Blair said with a laugh before crossing his arms and looking back at Jordan and Shael. "How's the arm Shae?" Blair asked, dropping the L as some weird way of showing friendship. Meanwhile Yamm looked around as so much had happened. Be bit down on his lip only to find himself withdraw in a shock as he noted that his tooth had become...sharper? Oh no...not good. Not goo. NOT GOOD!!!

Matt quickly looked for an excuse before finding Alexander. Alex...Alex....Alex... He tried to focus on Alex for a moment. What are you Day-dreaming about your little boyfriend or trying to establish a telepathic connection?Telepa-Well you had me fooled... Damn, screw it I'll do it. The Dragon offered as it reached out with it's chaotic dominion to reach the mind of the ever intelligent apprentice of Sin. Bingo, Bango, Bongo. I need a distraction, really bad. I need to get out of here. Now, can you help me out!? Yamm asked, feigning to be Matt with a sense of urgency before hoping Alexander would have a means of distraction to help.

"I done waiting. Beside I am trying to make him comfortable." said Artemis, with a slightly annoyed tone. She just finished walking back and at first she was happy when Blair seemed to not mind her advances on Yamm but was quickly turned off by what he said after. Although it was questionable what Artemis meant by comfortable. It was really hard to tell with her. Turning her back on the group, walked a few feet forward then plopped on the ground annoyed, her arms and legs folded. The crowd started to disperse, Artemis wondered if because they where bored and where satisfied with the pictures they took. She over heard a new voice, saying it looked broken. Confused what the new voice said she got up and walked over to the new male, who was standing over her son.

"Are you hurt?" asked Artemis, genuinely concerned. The new comer had backed off now, while she was walked up to her son. She looked over him he seemed to be fine. She sniffed the air around him to be safe and wait... that smell. It wasn't coming from Shael but the scent was growing stronger by the second.

"Yamm..." said Artemis, remember the scent. Her attention shot towards Matt. This was a smell she hadn't smelt in a long time. Before it always floated around Yamm, it was a comforting scent over all but something seemed kinda off. Her mind drifted back to Ireland. The last time it smelt this strong was when... oh.

"We need to move back... now. It's going to get a bit crowded here." said Artemis. She went to grab her children's wrist then pull them away. If Artemis remembered correctly Yamm's dragon form was big, like really really big. Big enough where she could run up his back, jump on another dragon and dig her teeth into it before jumping back to safety on him big.

Jordan glared at Artemis for a moment, whether he distrusted her or was angry about the whole making a scene was unknown, because....he was sometimes hard to read like that. Either way, he was looking over Shael's injured arm, to be sure it was back to full cap city or something like that. There were multiple reasons for the worry directed towards him, and all of them would have been correct really. The emotional chaos around him was beginning to agitate him, thanks to that goddamn empathy that he had to have for some reason, and then the next few sentences was him colorfully cursing Michael, so no need to waste your time reading that.

Alex on the other hand, well he was busy letting that powerful brain of his think of a way he could let his friend get out of here, and away from the crazy bitch in heat. It was then that it hit him, much like a ton of bricks minus the painful head trauma and or death. I have your distraction, just get ready to run when I do it. He said hoping the telepathic connection would let the dragon hear, because he was not speaking that aloud, in fear of the wolf girl hearing, and doing something else stupid. All it took was a thought really, two runes appearing on the dragons vessel, one to make him invisible and the other to hide him from all of the other senses, including hearing and smell, so even with her crazy enhanced senses, she would likely not find him.

Now he was hoping that he would take this opportunity to get the hell out of here, as Alex was not sure if he was doing that at this point. ”Now....um....Blair right? What the hell is going on here?” Jordan would venture to ask, expression not the usual nice one that most people would be used to. He looked more agitated than anything,setting his glare upon Artemis.

"Chaos is pretty prominent in the area, Matt's not used to his own soul yet, so he's turning dragon, even though he doesn't want to." Blair said as he took ahold of Jordan and started to back up, this indeed was not going to be good at all if Yamm entered his Dragon form. Fortunately for them, neither Matt nor his Dragon side would allow such destruction of his friends...and Artemis. He was grateful to Alex as he made his escape, telling him "Thank you" as he passed, taking off at well beyond the speed of your average car. It was a quick blur if anything could be seen at all, which was unlikely since the human eye can only process and detect speeds up to 550 miles per hour, and Yamm had passed that point, though not by much.

     His refuge was the water, his own little access to water would make things perfect for him. He actually went to the public pool and he took off his shirt and kicked off his shoes and socks before he dove into the water and settled at the bottom of it, just sitting there and holding his breath as he began to count. He didn't knowhow long he would last. He was transforming and there was nothing he could do to help it.  He'd be a dragon soon and he had no say in it. I'm sorry...just hold on....just hold on The voice said as it seemed to fade form even an echo as his mind faded to black.

"REEEAAARRRRUUUUU!!!!!!! RAAAAAAAARW!"
