Rating
Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Doc Impossible
Real Name: David Hartnell
Super Hero/Villain/Renegade/etc Name: Doctor Impossible
Title: Doctor Insane. Doc.
Alignment: Neutral Good
Age: 33
Gender: Male
Race: Caucasian
Hair: Light brown
Eyes: Pale blue
Height: 6' 4"
Weight: 185 lbs
Costume Image:
Personality: David is a genius, he's fully aware of this. However, he treats all more or less as equals regardless of gender, age or ethnicity and doesn't act in anyway superior. The drawback that his super-intellect brings is that he's very easily distracted by all the thoughts that keep popping into his head. He's almost eternally optimistic, and regardless of how hopeless the situation his willpower will keep him pressing onward. Won't ever kill, under any circumstances.
History: Nobody really knows Doctor Impossible's true origin but the man himself, because he constantly changes the story for anyone who asks. He might tell one person that he went frollicking in a field of gamma radiation and that's how he gained his superbrain, or that he's a time-travelling alien physician of some description who decided to stay on Earth, or that he was bitten by a radioactive Stephen Hawking. In truth though, his origin is much less glamorous.
The good Doctor's true origin is that he was simply a mutant child born in England, who could access far more of his brain then the average person. The average person only used around 8% of their brain, yet as a child David could use over 10% and that percent has kept growing over the years. While most kids were building simple constructs out of Lego, David was building entire model cities. While most kids were learning Dr. Seuss, David was reading and critiquing Shakespeare. While most kids hadn't heard of Da Vinci, David had perfected many of his old schematics. While most kids, well you get the idea...
He grew up a genius, who was too hyperactive to be tied down to some boring job in a laboratory. He still wanted to help people with his genius, but in a way that wasn't hopelessly boring. Then, he remembered all the work done by superheroes. Superheroes saved hundreds of people, and they led such exciting lives, the thing David craved above all else. He took up the title of Doctor Impossible, arming himself with a variety of gadgets he himself had made. Now, he travels the world, acting as a hyperactive saviour.
Powers:
-Superintellect: As Doctor Impossible uses a much greater percentage of his brain then a normal human, heis far more intelligent. He can think and process information far faster then the average person, solving problems with ease. As an inventor, he can create complex and advanced machinery with anything salvageable. He can pick up and learn things much quicker then a normal human, however he can forget certain subjects if he doesn't memorise it thoroughly. He can also tire himself out if he does too much brainwork without break.
Power Grid:
Character image:
RP Sample: There is someting so delightful about a bank robbery. So quaint, so cliche, so easy to foil. And that's why Doctor Impossible loves 'em so much. Front his vantage point across the street, he could see about 5 robbers, 3 of them marking hostages while the other two got to work on the vault. Simple submachine guns for some, a few toting grenades, the one working on the vault door was trying to cut though it with some advanced sonic weaponry. Wasn't dressed like a supervillain, most likely got it off a rich employer. Didn't matter either way, he was going down.
With the perfect strategy for minimal collateral damage, and complete victory, Doctor Impossible strode confidently across the street. He estimated he had about 10 minutes before the police arrived on the scene to complicate his plan, so he'd have to work quick. As if that was difficult.
He pressed his back to the wall, able to peer in throughthe front door from his position, and rooted through his trenchcoat. After a few moments spent searching through seemingly endless pockets, he pulled out a small black cube, marked with a series of glowing orange lights. With a casual throw it landed in the centre of the room, drawing the attention of robbers and hostages alike. Then it created a powerful flash of light, followed by a crippling sonic pulse, which sent all those present in the room to fall to their knees. Except the good Doctor of course, who had designed noise and light filters for his helmet.
He decked the first robber across the face, knocking him unconscious from the punch. With a flashy kick, the second robber was sent flat on his back, his head ringing so badly he couldn't bring himself to get back up. The third robber had partially recovered, and was opening fire on the Doctor. It was in vain though, the Doctor was able to casually walk through the gunfire with his forcefield deflecting the bullets. "Filthy things..." Doctor Impossible remarked, taking the gun from it's weilder with a swift yank, before smacking him across the face with it and knocking him out. He kept walking, pulling a small green ball from another pocket.
As the fourth bank robber rounded the corner, brandishing an M16, Doctor Impossible flicked the ball from his hand. It exploded on impact with the robber, sticking him to the wall with a thick green substance. As he was about to take down the final bank robber, Doctor Impossible found himself being launched through the nearest wall by a sonic blast. His shields took the brunt of the attack, but he knew he couldn't withstand too many hits like that. As the final enemy charged up another sonic blast, the Doctor threw another of those green balls, which clogged up the sonic blasters barrel. A violent explosion ripped through the large gun, sending the final robber onto his back, unconscious.
Doctor Impossibe stood up and brushed himself off, walking out of the badly damaged bank. As he stepped outside he checked his watch, hearing a series of police sirens approaching "Huh, 10 minutes. Right on time". Rather then wait to be either thanked or chewed out, Doctor Impossible opened a portal and stepped through, leaving the scene of the crime.

Re: Doc Impossible
Well done. Great first app and very well written. Just a few crituqes.
Fistly, you don't need the 3 power points in Energy Projection. They've got no use on this grid, since your only Super Power is Superintelligence. Also, something else in your power grid: The extra three points in Durability can't be approved, because the Items you build have to be accepted in a seperate subforum, found here.
Some edits and you'll be approved soon.

Re: Doc Impossible
Ah, I see. Yeah, I got a little confused with the wording on the character sheet, but now I have some points I can relocate as I see fit.
