The Legacy
   


Personality:
Though she may not seem like it while fighting Deran is a very kind hearted child.  She's seen her older sister fight on television and strives to be as brave and strong as she appears.  Because of this she can be easily manipulated  as long as she thinks that she's acting in the light of her sister.  She also has what she calls a battle personality.  When she gets serious she looses all former self and gains the personality of a cold hearted assassin.  This causes her mind to focus on whatever it is she's doing, and although this is good in most situations it becomes a problem if she's attempting to take someone down while causing as little damage as possible for her mind would only be focused on defeating the enemy.

History:
Two Years after helia was born Deran was born. When Deran was born she was taken from her mother in order to spare the womens life.  She was given to a doctor who worked at new genesis.  There they tested a drug that was erupting In the black market, known as demon essence.  The drug was said to give the user abnormal abilities.  They let the doctor take deran home everyday and treated her as if she was surrounded by those that loved her.  She continued to use demon essence and this allowed her to obtain an ability similar to helia's.   the only difference was that Deran's was more explosive.

They continued to test deran to expand and develop this specific skill to the point where she could match if not beat her older sister.  They then showed her videos of helia saving New Genisis city and the world.  Deran was surprised to hear that she had a sister and even more shocked that her sister was a famous hero.  Though she was also shown videos of helia attempting to evade the cops she still stood by her being a hero.  She even went as far as to strive to be like her.

Deran took on the name Serina as her alias when in the battlefield.  This name was given to her by the lab and as well were her hero like duties.  The jobs got more dangerous as she got older and although some where more on the shady side, like protecting mafia bosses and such.  She thought that she was doing this in order to see her big sister.  When she turned fifteen she began to enter the world of super heros.  She fought both hero's and villains while she grew in experience.  She also grew immense loyalty towards the New Genisis workers and such. This lead to her protecting new gen a lot.




The Powers
   

Power 1: Explosive fog
Deran's smoke whom she named Zerali appears through her body directly.  Upon inhalation of the demon drug reapers breath Deran begins to spew smoke from her mouth that falls down like dry ice out of a bucket.  The reapers breath is held in a large gourd on Deran's back.  It is then inhaled through a large pipe.  When exhaled Zerali tuns into whatever it is Deran tells him to transform into.
(basically by smoking a large bong Deran can spew explosive fog from her mouth)
