Arc proposal - Tournament of champions.

Deep within the sanctity of his lair, a dark, brooding figure sits in the shadows, his hands clasped together in his lap, deep in his own thoughts. From the darkness, a dim red light can be seen shining from the pupil of his left eye, giving the man a sinister, demonic look to him. As his brain worked a million miles an hour, he ran a hand through his thick mane of black hair, which ran down to the small of his back, and a 'controlled mess' to it. On the wooden desk in front of him, hundreds, maybe even thousands, of files sat upon it's oak surface. The files were stacked neatly, and had been recently read by him. From the top of one pile, he pulled a folder, his hand gingerly gripping the manila case.

"All my hard work, for what seems like such little information. But, we know better than that don't we, my little friend?" He asked, seemingly speaking to the folder, a small grin coming to the corner of his lips. On the front of the folder, in large, bolded letters, the word 'Classified' had been stamped on, nearly covering the entire thing. "You metas are so confident in your secrecy, you don't even stop to think about what someone could do with the little amount of information out there about you. Well, we'll just have to do something about that, won't we?"

With an almost pitiful sigh, the man opened the folder, revealing the documents inside for all the world to see. Paper clipped to the first group of pages inside, was the picture of a young man. Presumably in his late teens, possibly even early twenties. He had a strong, angular jaw, covered by a mess of black hair, and a small amount of stubble that covered his face. Bright blue eyes, almost inhumanly so, pointed, elf like ears, and enlarged, fang like canines made this boy really stand out in a crowd. Beneath that picture, was a read out of the boys abilities. He seemed to be a fire manipulator, and a strong one at that. The heat this boy could give off made sure the goverments kept a very, very watchful eye on him.

"So many heroes, just like this one." The man said, almost laughing to himself. "You will all do very, very nicely."

With a simple tap of his finger onto the touch screen of his phone, the mans plan was set into motion. At that moment, every meta human, villain and hero alike, would be receiving a text message, or even their own possible courier. After all, no one was completely off the grid. With a simple message:

"Heroes and Villains alike, I, Roger Brown, CEO of Biodome tech, and a man whose wealth knows no bounds has a challenge for you. Come to my island, fight in my tournament, prove yourself to be the strongest, and win rewards beyond your wildest dreams!"

The message was short, sweet, and to the point, and underneath it was a date, time, and GPS coordinates for any brave enough to step up to the challenge.

So, there it is, part one of the arc. It will be a battle royale, with multiple rounds going at once, until one meta human is left standing. As always, the no kill rule is in effect, and there will be ways that will be dealt with to allow your character to go "balls deep" and not have to worry about killing someone. Because of the nature of this, this round will have a special rule to it, which is as follows.

Overseers: Yea, you heard me right. For those who don't know, an Overseer (OS for short) is someone who determines what happens in a combat situation. This will be in place to stop people from:
A.) Even be able to think about god moding.
B.) Keep fights at decent lengths so we can continue moving onto more rounds, etc etc.
C.) Keep arguments at a minimum (Even though we all know they will still happen)

A bit confused on how this will work? Well, let me give you an example.

Player A uses an attack in their thread
Player B responds to that attack, and says what would happen if their counter is succesful
Overseer reads the post, and taking RP quality and stats into consideration, decides the outcome.
Player A reacts to the outcome and makes his own counter attack
Process repeats until a victor is decided.

Part Two through four, possibly five, of the arc will begin when the tournament has finished out.

What are parts two through four you ask? Well, it's a surprise for you all, but, a small teaser, it involves time travel, and doing some really dope stuff.
