Looking for blurs (Quick Recruitment)

Lucius sat in front of the massive computer he was always glued to since the moment it was put in the Society headquarters. He had been searching for other meta humans as he usually did, it seemed he might have found one of interest, one that could run at the speed of sound. Much like another man he knew, he was barley visible to the human eye, sometimes not at all. He would make a suitable recruit to the cause, if he didn't run from the city before he got to him. Using the bases teleporters he ported to the last place he saw the blur from his computer, an alley way behind the coffee shop he loved so much. "Hector, track any high speed movement in the area, i need him found" Lucius said to his AI then started waiting for any results he came upon.

In the city of New York at the dead of night a red lighting bolt can be seen racing down the streets of the famous city breaking windows of stores and cars at the same time. But the thing is that this wasn't a bolt of lighting, but a teenage metahuman. The teenager race into a alley way and came into view. He could easily he mistaken for Brooklyn's hero QuickKid for the way he is dress and looks, but the lighting bolt on his jacket way backwards and red. Also this wasn't QuickKid, but his clone Jason Ryes.
Jason had fleed Blooklyn after a fight to the death with QuickKid when he killed his girlfriend. Jason lost and was though to be dead, but wasn't. He was very much alive and out for revenge. He punched a wall putting a dent in it out of rage."DAMNIT when I get my hands on him I WILL finish the job and dance on his grave along with his team's.".

"I'm detecting a human sized object coming in very fast, its likely your man" The Ai said to its master. With that a blur stormed into view at the end of the alleyway, it seemed he ran straight into Lucius' lap. The person that came into view was not a man, but a boy of about 15 or 16. This particular boy Lucius recognized as a "Hero" that protected Brooklyn named quick kid, he had been tracking him along with a number of other hero types.


He may not be willing to join him, but if not then his blood could be of use for experimental purposes. Lucius walked toward the boy "Thats quite the trick, i have seen you before, i have an offer for you 'Quick Kid'" He said to him as he stepped forward until he got about 10 feet from him. His speed was quite impressive, but if he chose to attack Lucius had means to defend himself. The kid looked slightly different then he remembered, and Lucius had an almost perfect memory. Rather then point it out Lucius decided to wait for the boys reply. He wondered if he was some other kid that could run at super speed, as unlikely as it was it was the only reason Lucius could think of as to why he looked that way.

Jason was lost in his own mind until someone came up to him to talk to him. But this man made a huge mistake in calling him QuickKid. His eyes widen with rage and ran at him faster then he can follow to slam him into the walk of the alley by the collar of his jacket. He hated QuickKid with a burning passion and hated being mistaken for him even more. So when this man came up to him calling him QuickKid that set him off completely. He looked at the man with not only anger in his eyes, but his eyes were glowing red with lighting coming off of them and all around him."Dont you EVER call my that name I am not him or anything LIKE HIM who are YOU?"

The boy then looked up at Lucius, enraged with red lightning radiating from his body. He got into a clear charging stance, Lucius  knew what he was about to attempt, right before he dashed at him Hector activated Lucius' personal shield. The field went up just as the speedster was about to make contact, If he ran into it the force would surly knock him back. "I thought you looked different, you his evil twin or something of the like? Just don't try and attack me again, you will regret it. My offer still stands if you would hear it." Lucius said to the boy with his shield still up.

Jason was knocked back by the field around the man. He shook his head before getting up to lock eyes with the man. He was shocked that his device activated before he got to him and that he was to slow to reach him. The man wanted to offer him something so he'll hear him out having no other chose. I'm his clone. His REVERSE. Also how is it that your sheild actived before I got to you?" "Oh and what kind of offer you talking about?"

Lucius chuckled, the boy must have been quite confident in his abilities to ask such a question. The fact that he was his clone made sense, Lucius wondered who had such technology, but then quickly turned his attention back to the boy. "To answer your question, not that its any of your business, i have an AI that controls my gadgets, he was tracking your movements and automatically raised the field before you could reach me. Now back to the more important subject, i have a little group you might be interested in joining. We are a united meta human society who protects each other from hero types, striving to take our rightful place as the worlds dominant race. You may join and get this protection if you like, i promise money and revenge as long as you support other members as they support you"  Lucius said lowering his shield and holding out his hand to help the boy up.

Jason looked at him and then to his hand then back and forth a few times before making his finale chose. He grabbed his hand and got up from the ground with his eyes glowing red with red lighting while red lighting generated from his body. He was sure this team would help him in his goal and besides the humans needed a reality check about who is in charge."I'm in."
