Description/Goal:
Deus Ex Machina's goal is the subjugation of all things magic, both living and otherwise. Using the knowledge gathered from this dimension, the organization will spread to the stars and every corner of this universe. Both known and unknown.

History:
This organization was founded by Elena Vexus, her goal being the subjugation of all things magic in addition to some personal goals she does not disclose to the members. In order to achieve this she has began to gather together handfuls of metahumans to aid her. This obsession began after meeting with an certain other worldly being while on a inter dimensional retrieval mission. In capturing numerous magical beings and artifacts, Vexus and her team will conduct extensive experiments in order to better understand the magical arts. This though, would not be to perform magic but rather to replicate it with science and well explained facts. She encourages her fellow scientists to use magic in practical applications in order to better understand, but to be careful that it does not consume them. The fruits of their labor will result in added weaponry for her battalions both in offense and defense in addition to a substantial monetary compensation.
Anyone is free to join. She has no stipulations on abilities, age, origin, etcetera. Even those of magical origin may join. As long as they remain useful and loyal to the cause, Elena and the other members will keep them safe. Loyalty is key as well as keeping one's success rate at the proper level. Disciplinary action for disloyal or unsuccessful members within the different Pantheon will vary by their ranking. Anywhere from banishing from the organization, selective memory wiping, and even as severe as extermination. Vexus created this group in order to further her own ambitions and reward those who aid her in her quest. Those who wish to oppose her will be trampled in the wake of her perseverance and determination.

Members/Roster:
(You may pick which Pantheon you wish to be a part of*, however the higher the Pantheon the more activity it will require and the more difficult the opponents and missions. There will also be fewer members accompanying you on quests. After choosing a Pantheon, select a God or Goddess from the respective cultures to act as your title.)

(The Research Department of Deus Ex Machina answers directly to Vexus and does not typically participate in assigned missions. These are members of high intelligence in either science or magic. They also do not adorn ranks or titles, though they are not above or below any other members. However disciplinary action for disloyal members is far more sever due to their level of intimacy with the magic/science research and experiments. The information they gather would not be something Vexus would want to leak.)
