Looking for ideas!

If anyone is interested, I would like to start a small event to build my characters history. He has the ability to heat his body to intense temperatures and works as a private investigator on an illegal and meta level.

In all seriousness though I ran a bunch of threads related to a single faction of invading alien mercenary-scientists performing a large number of abductions of metahuman specimens. Sort of a arc-but-not-arc. The more metahumans that survive/escape, the closer we are to retaliating.

you don't join, so much as being found. You could have been abducted... had "things" done to you... then you could tell everyone you were abducted by aliens but everyone thinks you're crazy... then you have a mental breakdown, you might even think you're going crazy... until one day you're approached by someone who's interested in your story. I dunno. I'm just giving out generic scenarios.

As an rp'er, I am more into the Show Don't Tell method, to make the player's reactions In-Character more authentic. Particularly their horror at not knowing.
