Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

”Dammit Travis.” Sean chuckled, rolling his eyes and kneeling down, wiping at a small mess of chocolate milk that the young blond male had made, hands covering his mouth as the dark green orbs would look innocently to Sean. He would smile, and reveal a gap where he had lost two of his teeth, melting the males heart like butter in the summer heat. ”Well....you are like your father.” Sean muttered lifting the sopping wet paper towels and tossing them into the trash.
“Thanks Sean.” He said with the little mischievous tone that he usually held, latching onto Sean's leg for a moment in a hug and then breaking off, running away before running into someone else mid way from going through the hallway opening, falling to his butt with a little grunt.
”Hey you little ankle biter.” Brandon Hale noted with a smirk, lifting the little guy up and hugging him tight. He was dressed in a simple wife beater and boarding shorts, with blond hair growing shaggy atop his head.
“Ow ow ow, daaaaad you're hurting me.” The young Hale whined as he kicked ineffectually against his fathers stomach, as he placed the little guy down and turned his attention to Sean.
”Travis been given you trouble?” Brandon asked raising an eyebrow, approaching Sean and leaning against the counter, looking into his brilliant silver eyes and waiting for an answer. He flashed a small smile, leaning forward and kissing him on the cheek softly.
”Not at all. Okay, I guess the little chocolate milk spill was slightly annoying, but I got it.” He admitted adjusting the shirt with sleeves cut off revealing smooth scar tissue peering from it, but not letting the wide smirk ebb from his face. ”but he's like six, so not like its a big deal.” Sean noted shrugging rolling his shoulder and hearing it loudly pop, licking his dry lips and raking fingers through his hair.
'So, don't you have that glamorous job of yours to get to?” Brandon asked reaching into the fridge and pulling a small water bottle out and tossing it to Sean, who caught it without even looking in that direction, twisting the top off and taking a deep swig, Adams apple bobbing up and down until he was satisfied.
”Okay, one its not as glamorous as you would think it is and two I have like thirty minutes before I have to go.” He chuckled placing the half empty water bottle onto the counter, sighing lightly as his cellphone vibrated, Sean whipping it out and staring at it intently. 'Alright scratch that, I have to go now.” He muttered annoyed, Brandon smirking as if expecting that.
”Well the metahuman extremists are getting a little weird, considering this is the anniversary of that whole law that was passed.” Brandon noted pulling Sean into a hug and pecking him on the lips. ”Try not to get yourself killed.” Brandon added as Sean nodded assuredly.
'You and Travis take care now.” He noted nodding a couple of times, Brandon nodding in return and with that he would walk through the front door of their rather cozy apartment, and take the elevator down until he reached the bottom floor. With that done, Sean would look about until he found his car, step in and drive off until he reached the place of his work, which was the Chicago division of The Metahuman affairs agency, one that was started to deal with anything involving metahumans and metahuman related crimes. Ever since the tragedy of New York, there had to be precautions made for metahumans, which was started by Dominus, and they seemed to be going well.
A young woman would nod to Sean, and he would nod back, smiling lightly as he would make his way to his office, slipping into it and changing into more appropriate attire. He felt like he would have a long day today, but if he were lucky, then he would not have too much a problematic day. Unless of course they either had some metahuman jackass that decided to attack the offices, or just a metahuman jackass in general that felt like wrecking things. He dressed in the typical outfit, combat gear made specially for him, one that was laced with a fiber that could absorb and spread out large amounts of kinetic force, to prevent major damage. His jawline was lined with a small amount of course stubble, and one could see the beginning of aging, though for a male of twenty nine he looked young, atleast twenty four.
Sean was what one would call a prime example of humanity, self trained to martial excellence and physical at the peak, and his combat instincts were fine as well. While he was not proud of it, he had taken down metahumans that could level cities and even more than that, granted his body was lined with the scars that showed his work. A single pistol was strapped around his thigh, as well a sa weapon brought to him by the strange pale female, the one that refused to wear clothing and that Brandon would not stop staring at. The thought made Sean grumble something sourly to himself as he sat down at his desk and waited. Today he was supposed to be registering a hero or something like that, one of the young metahumans that wanted to help the world. While it was adorable in a way, he knew that it was possible for any of these heroes to go rogue and then try to destroy everything.
However before he had the chance to really do anything, a loud alarm would ring through the large building. Sean was on full alert, taking on a deep steadying breath as he unholstered the sci-fi like weapon from his thigh holster and quickly vaulted over the desk, landing on his knees with a certain grace as he took a deep breath. Something shook the great concrete building, though the metahuman troops were already in motion, granted he had a feeling there would have already been a few casualties. Someone would speak into his earpiece, Sean pressing into it with his free hand. 'Status report.” Sean muttered with back pressed against the wall as he took steadying breaths.
“Twelve metahumans are attacking the building, around six of them are class threes, four are pretty powerful class fours and its possible that two are class fives.” The female voice would note, Sean cursing under his breath.
”Alright, regroup and place up the containment field, we do not need this damage stretching beyond this building.” Sean ordered, though the field itself would take a small bit to put up, but he was hoping that it would be enough to at least neutralize the powers of the lesser ones. Within an instant the wall ahead of him would give out, a large hulk of a male holding a limb body glaring at him as Sean blinked.
”Well shit.” Sean muttered as the man would rush him, male ducking enough that the fist would barely miss his shoulder. Ducking into a roll, Sean would move forward, aiming the weapon and firing it off with a bright burst of blue energy; catching the metahuman on the back and forcing him forward, the smell of burst flesh filling the air. It was not enough to kill him, but enough to give Sean some time, he took off running from the raging male, making his way to the arsenal with weapons that would prove more useful. This day was not starting off as he had planned it to at all.
“Thanks Sean.” He said with the little mischievous tone that he usually held, latching onto Sean's leg for a moment in a hug and then breaking off, running away before running into someone else mid way from going through the hallway opening, falling to his butt with a little grunt.

Re: For tomorrow [Dissonance] [AU- SHRPG 4567]
The sun shone brightly over the city of Chicago with not a cloud to be seen in the sky. Ripples gently formed on the pond that sat in the centre of the park as children threw bread in to the ducks that fought tirelessly over every little piece. Father and daughter took everything in as the conversation about anything and everything in their lives carried on, happily lost in the crowd. The pair were resting on the enjoying the weather and the scenery before attending their appointment elsewhere.
“You know your mum and I used to bring you down to this park as a kid,” Sebastian said to the girl sitting beside him “Seems like such a long time ago now.”
There was a slight melancholy to the man’s words as he embraced how much older his daughter was now. Finally getting ready to tackle the world on her own and try to follow in his footsteps. Laura looked over to her dad and reached over to place a hand on his shoulder to comfort and reassure him.
“I’m still your little girl dad, you aren’t getting rid of me that easy.”
Her eyes glistened with the innocence of somebody in the prime of their youth, but deep inside them was also a tough resolve. Sebastian couldn’t help but notice the look; it had appeared shortly after the death of her mother and had remained ever since, hidden but unmistakeably there. He had always done his best to ensure that Laura was taken care of, but losing a mother was never easy.
“Are you sure you want to go through with this sweetheart? It’s not too late if you want to change…”
“Dad… I want to do this,” She said before he was able to even finish his sentence. He had tried to talk her out of it plenty of times but she just couldn’t see herself doing anything else. All she wanted was to help people and with her particular set of skills she knew this was the best way to do that.
“I know, I know… I am so proud of you,” he looked up at his daughter and a smile returned to his face “Come on then, let’s get moving.” Sebastian slowly pushed himself off of the floor to his feet, while Laura hopped up full of energy, as she was most of the time.
“How do you want to get there?” Laura said with sly smile in her dad’s direction, clearly hinting at her preferred method of travel.
“How about we walk for a change?”
They were in Chicago so that she could register her Meta-human status with the Meta-Human affairs agency, a place where she also hoped to interview for a job. She liked the idea of helping to keep the peace between Meta-humans and mankind, who in hers and her father’s eyes were entirely equal upon this planet. Unfortunately as is always the case, not everybody would agree with them and being the anniversary of certain laws designed to contain any potential threats, things were particularly volatile. They both quite enjoyed the leisurely stroll through Chicago towards the HQ, even if it had taken considerably longer than their journeys usually did. Upon arriving at the building they both walked in to the lobby of the place and made their way over to the desk. The room was fairly large and security was tight; somebody would have to try really hard to cause any trouble around here. Sebastian escorted his daughter to the desk but was swiftly ushered away, “Dad I’m 21 now and I can handle this!”
He stood back just a few feet to give her space to talk to the young receptionist, who had just finished up a phone call.
“Hi there, how can I help you”
“Hey, umm… Laura Sawbridge, I’m here to be registered?”
“Very well miss Sawbridge, if you could just fill out these forms we’ll sort everything out.”
Laura collected the forms and walked with her dad to the seats that were set out in the lobby, she quickly started filling the forms out with a pen that she picked up from the table.
As she filled out the forms Sebastian began to let his mind wonder and started looking around the room it wasn’t a large room and there were about 10 people in there including himself. He began to listen out of curiosity, the woman at the desk was registering another Meta-human complaint and three business-looking men were standing by a coffee machine having casual conversation. Three security guards were around the room two by the doors and one next to the main desk. Another man stood alone and kept glancing at his watch and checking his phone. Sebastian couldn’t understand his behaviour so listened closer, to see if he had a tense heartbeat. As he listened he realised that the man was indeed tense, but that wasn’t all that was unusual. He could only count 10 people and yet there were 11 distinct heartbeats within the room, this was usually only encountered when invisibility or camouflage of some sort was involved. Looking back to the first man he heard him start whispering, “I thought they said they were going to start by now.”
It took seconds to realise what was actually going on and he turned to Laura.
“Sweetheart listen, there’s going to be an attack and I’m going to get up and intervene. I need you to get to the lady behind the desk and take her to activate an alarm as soon as you can!”
Laura didn’t say a word and instead just nodded and moved back to the desk to hand her paperwork in. As soon as she had reached the woman Sebastian jumped to his feet and shouted around the room, “EVERYBODY OUT!”
The man was startled and dropped his phone to the floor. The three businessmen got the message and ran straight out the door so they wouldn’t be bothered by anything. Laura and the receptionist had gone to the floor to take cover behind the desk and all of the security guards had trained their rifles directly on to the startled mans chest. Then suddenly one of the rifles was ripped from a security guards hand and used to hit him round the head. The invisible man had revealed himself. Now acting as Symphony, a well-known hero in this area he went to make his move but the first man managed to act faster. A blast of fire erupted from his hands, killing one of the other security guards in an instant.
“I need you to take my hand and trust me,” Laura said to the terrified receptionist for whom she was responsible. She willingly accepted and grabbed on to Laura’s hands and in an instant they were both gone, reappearing just metres down a hallway to the receptionist’s surprise.
“Go raise the alarm… Now!” Laura shouted to the woman while climbing to her feet, before jumping back into the room with her dad. Seconds later a howling alarm screamed throughout the building. The building began to shake as a large impact sounded above; concrete could be seen falling to the streets outside.
“Laura, get upstairs and see if you can help out… I can take these guys,” Symphony said with a heroic tone to his voice. With a nod Laura disappeared to the elevator shaft that was further inside the building and began to ascend to the higher floors. Seeing a large hole in the wall she decided to jump through and see what had caused it. Observing the room she saw a large and very pissed off looking male with smoke rising from his back, he was clearly preparing a charge to whoever had just shot at him. Not knowing how much danger the person could be in Laura decided it was a good idea to become a momentary distraction.
“Hey Chunky!” She shouted across the room, jumping to kick the man square in the jaw before returning to her original position.
“Why don’t you pick on somebody considerably smaller than you?”
“You know your mum and I used to bring you down to this park as a kid,” Sebastian said to the girl sitting beside him “Seems like such a long time ago now.”

Re: For tomorrow [Dissonance] [AU- SHRPG 4567]
A week ago a few men under Johns command reported rumors of an attack on the Meta-human affairs building based in Chicago. That was why he now stood atop an adjacent building, waiting for the buildings defenses to direct their attention on the twelve meta-humans now tearing the place apart. The arms dealer had no interest in their objective but couldn't pass the opportunity to sneak into the chaos and dig up what he could. John was already suited up to hide his identity to protect his weapons manufacturing company from his more illegal endeavors. Leaping with little effort, Siege landed on top of the building and was quickly meet by two guards exiting a stairways armed with advanced weaponry, probably sent up there to guard the roof top from a possible second threat.
"Fr-freeze!" The guard stuttered, holding up his rifle and pointing it at Siege. The other guard did so as well, the weapons humming with power. "Identify yourself" The man said more confidently as his nerves steadied.
"I'm a good guy, a registered all american hero." Siege stated, raising his hands and taking a few steps toward them. "Check your records, my number is 2224507" The one guard nodded at the other to lower his weapon to check the number in their data banks.
In a quick flash of light, two .50 caliber hand cannons appeared in Sieges hands and he quickly shot the man still holding his weapon who was only just now returning his glance to Siege. The accurate shot beheaded the man and startled the second guard who dropped his data pad to raise his rifle but was stopped by a slug in the chest leaving a hole where his heart used to be. Siege looted the guards of their ID badges and used it to unlock the roof stairway. The hand cannons disappeared back into the equip and in his hand was now a new device which he planted on the railing of the building.
Pressing a button the device sent out a silent signal which scanned the entire building which feed the information directly to Sieges HUD, he now had the entire buildings layout as well as an update on the location of people as the device sent out frequent signals to alert Siege of everyone's position in the building. Using that to his advantage, he was able to avoid guards and civilians to remain undetected as long as possible. He was close to the buildings mainframe which likely stored all the data but guards were posted.
With a mental impulse, a grenade appeared in Sieges hand and he tossed it at the feet of the guards. It was incendiary but chemical, it quickly blew into a puff of purple smoke that the guards gagged on before they began bleeding from their pours and dieing. His helmet could filter anything, and he simply walked through the purple smoke which concealed him slightly as the smoke began to dissipate. Swiping the guards card he stole earlier, the room denied him access.
"Figures." Siege stated, placing his hand over the door pad. "Jewel, open the door if you please." The hand he placed on the door illuminated Red as Jewel accessed the panel wirelessly. After a second or two Jewel managed to crack the door and it opened but not without sending a silent alarm out. "Useless AI." Siege cursed, quickly entering the room and opening up the nearest computer terminal.
Siege quickly inserted a USB drive with an antenna attached which began to copy everything on the mainframe and send it encrypted into the internet. The data would be fragmented and hidden through the Web so that only Jewel could relocate the information and recollect it. Sieges HUD beeped, somebody was approaching so he quickly equipped a Hand cannon and waited for whoever it was to arrive.

Re: For tomorrow [Dissonance] [AU- SHRPG 4567]
”Oh eve eve eve we got somethin.” A tomato haired girl cheered as her fingers typed away on a keyboard at an inhuman speed, the sounds of clicking emanating throughout the room. Lights would begin to flash through the room as what apepared to be a corgi would trot over to the, sitting down and looking up to her with intelligent eyes. ”Woooow, this hacking software is weeeeaaaaak.” She chuckled typing a few more strings into her laptop and ignoring the loud siren that was blaring throughout the entire compound, as if she did not have a care within the world. Within an instant she began to intercept the breach within the mainframe, tongue dancing over her lips as she began her own little trick, mind running quickly as she worked with a large amount of junk data, rapidly replicating it and forcing it into the process that the unknown AI was running.
While doing that, she forced it to begin to copy that junk data instead of the vital files and with a single keystroke everything was done, technopathy at its finest running. With that done she would removed the goggles from her eyes and whistle loduly, leaning back and yawning. ”Yeah, that was easy.” She chuckled as the corgi stood to its feet.
”Are you sure thats all?” A female voice would ask from the corgi.
”Even if its not, my brain is like a computer, so nothin is gonna get past me.” She noted standing to her feet, two small metallic drones floating behind her as she left the room, skipping along.

Sean was running full speed, alarms blaring in his ears as he did not even pay much attention to anything else that was happening until he found himself slamming shoulder first into the weapons vault door, which was still intact. Scrambling for the keypad, he quickly tapped in a code as the large metal door open, Sean rushing through and letting his eyes run over the weapons within its stock. He picked up one of the energy blades, a larger rifle with a sleek white design and then something else, a strange looking gauntlet with a sleek blue section over the palm and blue veins running over the silver surface. A small smmirk formed along the males lips as a voice appeared over his ear piece. ”Tiana Zen in, we have someone tryin to hack the systems. Could a certain meathead get in there and deal with that?” The young female voice asked with a chuckle, Sean grumbling something to himself. ”What was that meathead?”
”On it.” Sean said with an annoyed sigh and rolling his eyes, and making sure that he had all of his weapons attached to him with a scowl, letting his mind run over where the info room was. Tiana would speak through hia earpiece, offering directions as well as a few one liners. Where he arrived was the mainframe, with someone standing over it with something hooked into it, Sean's eyes narrowing as he remove the weapon from his thigh, a small metal hilt that sprouted a blade of pure energy. ”Well what do we have here?” Sean noted raising his energy pistol and firing it off, aiming to strike the male down now.

Re: For tomorrow [Dissonance] [AU- SHRPG 4567]
Jewel alerted Siege that the hack had failed, something or somebody had completely rewrote the programming and started throw junk all over the internet. Nothing useful would be retrieved. With precious seconds before the attacker arrived, Siege returned to the mainframe, pulling open the locked drawer which contained computer components. Siege started pulling hard drives out of the tower and scanning them with the equip allowing him to digitize them.
It didn't take long for the single unit to arrive to attack Siege, the man was a shoot first ask questions later sort and fired a shot of immediately. Pulling the USB from the access terminal and quickly spinning around Siege narrowly avoided the shot fired at him. The shot which missed him hit the computer tower which left a hole in it, shorting its power and deactivating it. Lifting up his hand cannon as quickly as he dodged the energy blast Siege began to open fire at his attacker. The fifty caliber slugs could decimate most normal human beings, but Siege wasn't sure who or what he was up against considering the people in the building probably kept a few meta-humans under their employment. The shots he fired were mostly to gauge the level of threat his opponent possessed if any at all.
