(Plasma) Katanas of the Rising Sun

The power (and abuse) of technology by dark powers creates a time-space anomaly in the Multiverse, opening a passageway between this world and another, where a mighty Empire in the East rose to dominate the world. The Dark machinations of unseen masters seek the power of an army that has done what it seeks to do- conquer entire nations.

On a distant Island surrounded by storms, this army of machine and steel, mysticism and bushido has arrived and takes stock of the world they find themselves in. But their might is directed towards the goals of the dark Powers, not their own... and the masters of both constantly seek an advantage over the other.

Their presence does not go unnoticed, for their agents have begun their work in returning to the country that parallels their home. There they find allies, or pawns as the Dark Powers would like, and it is here that the seeds of of a mighty tyranny are sown...
