On a Tuesday during a week in a month, Elaine recovered relics of power with the help of girls who go intangible. Don't know what that means, but it is pretty useful.

Before those girls haphazardly scavenged a dagger and a tome, Elaine and her apothecary assistant, Amethyst, recovered an understanding of how to unlock portals of possibly great evil.

Even before those events transpired, an involuntary time traveler burst forth a hole in the ground in the Mall of America and spoke of crazy things like gaps in reality and Friedrich Nietzsche.

Going back even further in time and space, the primordial atoms burst forth and gave us the universe in an event scientist would later call the Hypothesis of the Primordial Atom.
