Personality:
While exact personalities differ between the individuals, they all share on trait, that being their unparalleled devotion to the job. Anyone working as Security Detail for Velon Industries will obey any order without thought of insubordination. By order of their employer, they have an "Ask first, shoot later" mindset, only attacking if the target poses a threat. Otherwise they seek to use nonlethal force to detain them.
History:
Originally the Velon Industries Security was made up of private contractors who were outsourced to the company. Overtime, however, the company began to create its own security force. This group came to surpass most police forces, and was the equivalent of a small militia. There are several dozen members of this force at each of Velon Industries' locations at any given time, with a number totaling over two hundred in the New York offices. While their primary purpose is to protect the staff, research and buildings of Velon Industries, they can be hired out to various individuals or organizations. Around one third of the people within the group are metahuman, though this is not known to the public or to the mundane individuals.
