Personality: Eric is a quiet man, always lost in his own thoughts. Hating noise and constant rush of people Eric naturally tries to avoid cities and prefers life out in the woods, where he can train and work in peace. With a mind that races constantly you would picture a hyperactive man with no organization but Eric is very calm, to the point where most people wonder if he pays attention to whats going on around him, but under the calm exterior is a man constantly observing his surroundings and thinking of something new. Respect is key to Eric, wether it comes to battle or day to day conversation he believes that people should respect those around them or else the world will continue to be in it's constant state of chaos. When it comes to fighting shrouded in secrecy and technology, Samael is a formidable warrior that strikes swiftly before quietly escaping into the night.

History: Eric codename Samael, and his two best friends (Cohen and Irish) served together in a underground militia as a elite unit. While Eric served in combat, he always carried a picture of his father (a renowned scientist who died when Eric was 11) with him in his hat as motivation to always better himself. On a particular mission, a heavy firefight a drug cartel smuggling strange technology resulted in the apparent death of his team mates.

As a helicopter arrived to pick up the surviving team members, the pursuing Cartel opened fire, severely injuring Eric. Despite a direct order from Irish to leave him, Cohen went back for Eric. Running through heavy enemy fire, Cohen was able to getEric safely aboard the helicopter. Upon returning home from the war, Eric met with a doctor , who informed him that he would never walk again on his own. But with the technology that was recovered from the cartel Eric would have a chance if he was willing to give up a part of his humanity, to which he quickly agreed.

After some soul-searching and getting use to his new body, Eric went to study the ninja arts with a contact he made on his travels with the militia. Eric's ability to quickly learn skills impressed, the Clan Master. Over time, Eric and a young man named Teisha became sword brothers, and unintentional rivals for the attention and favor of the Clan Master, who liked pitting them against one another to test their considerable skills. Though Eric often attempted to throw matches in order that his friend should save face in front of his family, the Clan Master was aware of his ruse, and knew him to be the true victor.

During one of Eric's training sessions, the Clan Master expressed his desire for Eric to take over leadership of the ninja clan. Eric refused, but an assassin killed the Clan Master before a leader was appointed. The assassin used an arrow he stole from Teisha, implicating him in the murder of the Clan Master.

With Teisha believed responsible for the death of the Clan Master and no leader to keep things in control, the ninja clan dissolved, and Eric returned to America for the first time in years, where he took up residence in the mountains of Colorado. Now he dedicates his time to training and creating inventions to improve his natural abilities.
