Personality:

Nika has a playful and mischievous attitude to her at any given time. It constantly seems like she rarely takes anything seriously. She often will tease and flirt with people, regardless of gender. Nika is also very mysterious, not being very open about herself. She is most open to Artemis but even then there are multiple things she won't tell her. The only thing Artemis knows for sure is that Nika is very loyal to her. Even though Nika can be very polite, there always feels like there is something she is hiding. As much as Nika will hate to ever admit, she has a constant need for attention, regardless of who it is from. When she doesn't feel like she is getting enough attention she begins to feel on edge, as if she will be forgotten.

History:

For a spirit Nikara is very very young. It is common for other spirits to bring that point up, even though by human standards she is very very old. There is not much she likes to bring up about her past, even to Artemis who she has pledged loyalty to as the successor to her original mistress, Fera. Although her and Fera's exact relationship still is shrouded in mystery, even to other spirits. She does refer to Artemis as Mistress, much to Artemis' annoyance, mainly because she has no idea what the word means. According to Nika she had been following Artemis ever since Fera first fused with Artemis, even though Artemis doesn't recognize her scent. All she is willing to tell Artemis and another else is that Artemis needs to be more connected to the spirits and that it's her job to get her to that point.

Even though she says she was always watching Artemis from a far, that wasn't always true. Once she noticed that Artemis was capable enough to handle herself due to Fera's power she would travel away from time to time, really only checking on Artemis once every few months, despite her Mistress' wishes for her to keep an eye on Artemis after they fused. She was still a young spirit, there where people she could follow and trick. People who would give her the attention she felt like she deserved. And then before she knew it, in her absence, Fera died. Nika could feel it in her... for such a powerful spirit to die, it felt as it were impossible. She could remember what she was exactly doing when it happened. Probably some party on the east coast, she most likely had a few people fawning over her. She just could feel it. She stopped what she was doing and began to run, back to Fera.

But by the time she had returned it was too late, the Fera she had known had past on. She could feel Fera's power in the child she chose to protect. But it was different. It wasn't Fera's power anymore, the power came from the human. Fera had made a human an Elder Spirit and she had felt Nika alone. Stricken by grief Nika ran away once more, filled with anger and hate. At first it was directed towards Artemis. It was all her fault, if it wasn't for her Fera would still be alive and still be with her. And t hen her grief went to herself. It was her fault... if she had only listened to Fera, she may still be alive.

Months past and Nika lived in relative solitude. The loneliness was killing her but it was her punishment that she placed on herself. But then she noticed something, the world felt off. Fera's death had an impact on the world, greater then Nika could of imagined. The behavior of different animals began to change with out a greater force keeping them in check. Did Artemis not know how to communicate with spirits? Did she not know how to do any of Fera's responsibilities? Nika had a vague idea on how to do them so she returned to Artemis. Even if only to teach her the ways of the spirits.

The Powers and Weaknesses

(All characters can be as powerful as they want, as long as they are balanced with proper weaknesses.)

Power 1: Limited Shapeshifting: Nikara can change into a fox.

Power 2: Astral Fire: Nikara has the ability to generate and control Astral fire, also known as fox fire. The fire is an eerie blue color and is infused with the very spirit of the caster. It has the ability to hurt the very soul of the target, so even intangible they can feel the burn.

Power 3: Telepathic communication: Nikara can talk to other telepathically and can be used as a medium for telepathic communication with multiple people.

Weakness 1: Nikara can only change into a fox and nothing else.

Weakness 2: Nikara is very sensitive about her age (she is still considered young for a spirit)

Weakness 3: She has to visibly see a person before she can connect with them telepathically.

Weakness 4: Since Astral fire a spirit infused fire it can only be created from oneself and it takes up the user's energy to create.

Weakness 5: Nikara can not control normal fire

Weakness 6: Using excessive amounts of spirit fire will tire Nikara out

Weakness 7: Nikara gets very lonely very fast and will push off her duties if it means she will get some attention

The Powers

Universal Power:

Power 1:Fox and Human form: Nikara has two forms, one people that of a human and one being that of a fox, she can freely shift between the two for different powers (2 ability)

Power 2: Heighten sense: Nika has Heighten senses. (1 ability)

Fox Form:

Power 1: Super speed: Nika can run faster then a normal creature.

Power 2:Telepathic communication: Being unable to talk normally while in her original Fox form Nikara can talk to other through telepathic communication, however if the person would be beyond hearing distance, they will not be able to hear here. (1 ability)

Human Form:

Power 1: Partial Shifting: Nika can show some of her fox attributes while in human form, although it doesn't effect her senses in anyway. (RP Mechanic)

Power 2: Astral Fire: Also referred to as Fox Fire by Nika, astral fire is a spiritual fire that can burn the very spirit of it's target. Even those who are intangible like most spirits cannot escape it. It glows a very inhuman, eerie light blue color. (8 Ability)
