Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Title: The Houndmaster
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Name: Bradley Chazington
Renegade Moniker: Tindalos
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Height: 5' 10”
Weight: Light
Appearance: Average build, if somewhat stocky, though his muscles have atrophied a bit. He has a round face, light brown eyes that glow silver when using magic, dark blond hair, and a pale skin tone. Ugly scars mar his legs, lower abdomen, left forearm, and neck. The runic tattoo on his torso is kept hidden at all times, though it glows through whatever he's wearing when he uses magic.
Personality: Bradley is pretty much the definition of a wild card; even he's not sure what he might do in some situations. He's unhinged and often erratic, seeming almost bipolar at times. He does genuinely prefer to do good things, but due to the nature of what caused the whole unstable aspect of his personality, he sometimes does very bad acts, most of which he may not have meant to do in the first place. Aside from that, he's bitter, cynical, withdrawn, and driven, the last of which has not changed; if anything, his determination has only become even more pronounced, bordering on delusional obsession.
History:
Bradley's story begins many years ago, when he developed an interest in magic--not just slight-of-hand tricks, but actual magic, a power that could reshape the universe at a user's whim. Sure, he was a child, so of course he'd like magic, but the tales he was told by his parents intrigued him. As he grew older and wiser, the boy still held on to his belief in magic, though he kept it secret. The main reason he never grew out of it were the stories of superheroes he kept on hearing, people capable of extraordinary feats that often defied conventional logic.
So he continued living a good life, his desire to use magic slowly waning throughout the years. That is, until the collapse. Six years ago, Brad, his parents, and his little sister were driving across a bridge in Manhattan when two metahuman combatants appeared and started fighting. Before they knew it, the bridge practically exploded and started collapsing into the water below. Somehow, their car, while tossed a sizable distance, managed to stay on a part of the bridge that remained intact. Brad got out of the car and tried to get his family out, but just then one of the metahumans was propelled into the bridge near the car by a bolt of energy that subsequently exploded.
The car was destroyed and Brad was thrown clear, his body burned and bleeding from the detonation. He was one of the few civilians to have survived the battle, which he learned upon waking up several days later in a hospital. His older brother arrived shortly after Brad came to and delivered the news: their parents and sister were dead.
With this news on his mind, Brad died inside. He became withdrawn and seemingly emotionless for a while. He went through therapy, but there he found that he could no longer walk very well. Once he was through, Brad was given an advanced set of servo-powered assisting leg braces to help. Upon arriving back at the family's manor, the youngest brother lurked around the halls of the rather large building for months. All that time though, he kept pondering and mulling over what he knew.
Almost a year after the bridge, Bradley renewed his interest in the supernatural with a vengeance, wanting to find a way to bring his family back. He used massive amounts of the family fortune that was his to track down and retrieve various arcane artifacts and information. Most of it was a dead end, but he kept learning and growing in knowledge. Finally, he came across an amulet that would allow him to summon eldritch entities of various kinds.
First, he started small, with simple spirits and familiars and the like. Brad supplemented the information from the summoned beings with other techniques, and in time he hit the jackpot. Just in time, too, for he didn't have that much money left. He initiated a high-level summoning ritual using the Amulet as the focus.
What exactly happened during this ritual was a blur, but one thing is for sure: it was then that Brad's mind was broken and reformed in an unfamiliar pattern. Instead of resurrecting his family, he had instead brought a small pack of monsters into this universe. These...creatures, these eldritch aberrations did not attack. Instead, he found that they obeyed him unhesitatingly, and faded away when he dismissed them. At this time, he also found the pain in his legs to have increased, effectively crippling him for good; despite the servo assisters, he couldn't even stand without being in perpetual agony. The Amulet had vanished, and the symbol that was on it had been etched into his chest like a tattoo.
From what he knew of summoning and binding rituals like the one he'd just performed, Brad came to the conclusion that he must have made some sort of deal. He'd be able to summon and control the creatures, but he would also be unable to walk right again. He suspected there was much more to the deal than just that, but he had no idea what it was.
In his somewhat fragmented state, Brad moved out of the manor and up to New York City, where his family's vacation penthouse was located. He continued to dabble with magic and testing out summoning the monsters, which he eventually dubbed “Hounds”; following this, he gave himself the nickname of “Tindalos” to match.
As he was a fan of Lovecraft, he saw weird similarities between the Hounds and the fictional creatures that preceded them--or maybe it was the other way around, with these creatures being the inspiration. Regardless, they proved to be extremely useful, as monsters that obeyed without question and carried orders out to the best of their abilities ought to be. The tattoo steadily spread over his body as he grew in power and knowledge, to where it's now covering most of his chest, back, and upper arms.
In 2018, the New York Assault occurred. Bradley fled and went back to the family manor, part of which he turned into something unrecognizable. He worked on creating items of power to increase his abilities and give him new ones, along with the occasional testing of the Hounds.
Since then, Bradley has occasionally gone wandering around the world for brief periods of time, always to eventually return home and continue with his experiments.
Powers:
~Hound Summoning: Ever since the summoning ritual, Brad is able to call a small pack of Hounds into this existence. They can stay until being defeated or dismissed, and cannot be summoned again for a while; generally, 1-3 posts after being dismissed, and 3-7 hours after being “killed”. Their basic stats are detailed below.
~Spirit Link: Brad has a mental connection with the Hounds he summons. He can command them telepathically, vaguely sense what they sense (and vice versa), and transfer buffs affecting himself to them (and vice versa).
~Hound Empowerment: Brad has the ability to empower one of the summoned Hounds at will (most likely Alpha, the leader and the one he uses as a mount), increasing their stats by 3 for up to 5 posts; cooldown equals duration.
~Regeneration: After the ritual, Brad's form created an imprint on the dimension/plane he contacted through the Amulet, and he is tethered to it. Because of this, he can regenerate; if his body is changed in any way, it begins to restore itself to the state it was in right after the ritual ended. Of course, this has a major downside as well: he is in constant pain, and his scars and legs can never be healed. This also protects him from various poisons and drugs, and keeps him going far longer than someone of his stamina should be able to go, as it prevents fatigue and such for quite a while. Even if his body is completely destroyed (turned to ash, disintegrated, etc.), he will reform several days later (or in the next thread), either in his home or at the place his body was destroyed.
~Arcane Knowledge: After years of pouring through ancient textbooks and scrolls and communing with various spirits and arcane creatures, he has achieved a level of knowledge on the supernatural that is rarely seen in the wider world.

Hound Powers:
~Angle Travel: Hounds can teleport by way of entering any sharp angle less than 180 degrees, then reforming at any other angle less than 180 degrees within 85 meters. They can create their own angles mid-air to travel through and/or exit if none are available, but that drastically slows down the time that they dissipate and reform. Can only travel once per post, and they must wait one post before traveling again.
~Weird Physiology: The Hounds have, to put it simply, very strange bodies. Each one looks different every time they're summoned, as in a different number of eyes, legs, teeth, claws, and such, though some details remain the same throughout all the forms individual Hounds take. Their bodies can contort and expand, change and mold, and an almost solid-like “smoke” is emitted from their skin. Essentially: they can reduce their size by 60% or enlarge it by 40%; elongate parts of their body (most often limbs and tongue) for whatever reason; squeeze into very tight spaces; and the smoke obscures the outline/shape of their bodies, which makes it harder to aim at them accurately. A Hound that Brad is using as a mount is also capable of keeping him from falling or being knocked off of the Hound's back, unless immense force is applied (equivalent of 5- or 6-ish STR). In addition, they are capable of telling the physical condition and location of targets they have injured.

Re: Tindalos
You have 29 points spent.
For the buff power. At 3 points spent into it, you can increase 1 grid only by 3 points for up to 5 posts maximum with an equal cooldown to the duration used. You cannot increase a stat past 8.
Regeneration does not allow for immortality in no manner. Something that would kill them, still kills them. A plot oriented form of immortality is not to be abused.

Re: Tindalos
Modified the grid and buff explanation. As for the resurrection/immortality thing, are you saying that I should separate that from the Regeneration and make it into a separate RP Mechanic power or something?
