Possible Mischief. Or not. We'll see (Micheal)

"OK, let's go then," Sam said, standing up from his chair. He followed the shorter man out, and they walked for a few minutes in silence. In an attempt at both small talk and gather information, Samuel asked, with a furtive glance, "What's your opinion on all of these Meta-humans, and the like?". As his question was finished, they ended up in front of the bank. It is small, Samuel thought. It was a nice beige color, with a red tile roof and green awnings over all the windows. Turning to the other male,  Sam asked "One thing before we begin: What do I call you?". As an afterthought, he added "Oh, and knowing the plan might be nice".

So Michael would be leading the way on their little criminal venture, something that he was expecting to do anyway. Burying his hands into his pockets, the young ethereal would lead the way, humming something under his breath while the silence seemed to carry itself for a good few minutes, until Samuel at last broke it. ”My opinion on metahumans? Well, considering that I would be called a metahuman when it comes to stupid humans and the public as a whole, I suppose I have no problem with metahumans.” Michael noted a small smirk playing across his lips the bank in question coming in sight. Nothing amazing really, but it had a considerable sum within it, around fifty thousand in all if he did his mental math right. ”You could call me Michael when we’re not workin, but on the job Hyperion works just fine.” He added peering into the bank itself. ”The plan is simple, we rob the bank, the security is not impressive really.” He noted before stepping through the front door, eyes scanning over and considering every variable. Now came the fun part, Mike pursing his lips and releasing as high pitched whistle. ”Alright everyone, it’s a robbery yada yada yada.” Michael muttered as seeming to appear out of nowhere with a chorus of unearthly screeches was a black blade within his right hand, one that would unnerve anyone. Misanthropy would be good enough to work this job.

Samuel walked in with Hyperion, telling him "That's relieving, I was afraid you would be one of those metaphobes. Due to some of them I am now wanted in Paraguay,". It did not go unnoticed by him that Michael/Hyperion had insinuated there would be time off the job, but it was cause for little concern. "I go by Odien when committing illicit activities, but otherwise...actually, we'll get to that later,” as I’m not entirely sure there will be any time “off the job”. Depends on how this goes down, he thought.

He raised a single eyebrow when Hyperion pulled out the sword; it seemed a little overkill to him, even if it did look extremely badass. Even if it hadn’t, it emitted the kind of presence that made you know it could do more than just cut someone. Samuel pulled out his own handgun and waved it around in the air, something he had seen several times in the movies. Too late he realized his face wasn’t covered, and that most of these people would be able to describe him to the police, but he shrugged it off. What did it matter if you were wanted in two countries?

”One, two, three, four.” Michael counted out loud to himself, a small smirk forming upon his lips as he took a few steps forward, his cohort flailing a gun about. So it seemed that at least he had a weapon on him, which would make things much easier. ”Well Odien, lets get this thing started.” Mike muttered with a small smirk, the ones sitting behind the counter seeming to shutter lightly at the sight of the blade. ”I think you know how this thing goes.” Surprisingly there were no cameras here, something that surprised Michael, considering that even though it was a small bank, it was a bank nonetheless.  Taking the initiative, looking to the only customer lying on the ground, a rather devious smirk seemed to form upon his lips. In a blur he was moving, flipping over the counter, standing between the two that served as the bank tellers. One female and one male stood on his sides, stepping back slowly but they could not avoid the bite of the blade. The blade seemed to howl in pleasure almost, as both fell with bloody wounds in their chests, though something unexpected happened.

The female began to convulse, body twisting as it became something else, dark flesh with the occasional tuft of what was her light brown hair, dusky skin replacing her own pale flesh. Three rows of teeth would form within the mouth, all of them appearing as if they were meant to tear flesh. The other however did not change, other than their eyes becoming glowing orbs and the wound seeming to instantly close. On this day an ethereal and an imperfect were born, both subservient to their new god. “I…its like seeing for the first time.” The male muttered as the imperfect rose to its feet, a low growl rippling from its mouth.

”So far so good.” Michael muttered with a light smirk.

Servant grids:

Samuel watched, slightly bothered,  as Hyperion jumped over the counter and appeared to kill the two tellers. His  gaze quickly turned to one of horror as the woman became some form of monstrous abomination.  "What in the name of all Sean Connery?!" he exclaimed.  The patrons in the bank seemed likewise affected,  and some were in hysterics.  This restored some of Samuel's resolve; there was a job to be done,  and these people were beginning to annoy him. Aiming his gun at one woman, he told them "Shut up all of you, or I'll shoot." It was an empty threat,  but they had no way of knowing that.

Approaching the counter, he pointedly refused to look at the woman, and addressed the man with the glowing eyes. “You, show me the money!”, he said, before turning around to see if any of the clients at the bank appreciated the reference. It took a few moments before he realized they were terrified, and unlikely to appreciate anything from him at this moment. Jeez, it’s not like are losing any money, he thought. Grabbing a lollipop from the counter, he threw it to a little girl huddled beside her mother. Samuel returned his gaze to Glowing Eyes. “I’d like to withdraw all of my savings here, and everyone elses, please”.

Michael drunk it in, the worshipful look that the newly awakened ethereal had given him, something about it feeding his slowly growing ego, as  if for a moment he could forget about Shael’s blood on his own hands. ”You, what is your name?” Michael would ask the new ethereal.

“Chris.” He would answer with a reverent tone, looking to him as if he were some kind of god, waiting to hear his words.

”Help my friend out with whatever it was that he needs help with.” He noted and the male would obey, following after Samuel much like a lost pop, a small smirk forming upon Michael’s lips as he knelt over the two that were sitting against the wall, crying. Pressing a fingertip to both of their heads, he muttered something lowly before pulling away and letting the two fall back against the ground, unconscious. ”There we go. They will have major headaches, but other than that they will remember nothing about this whole…heist.” It was a simple trick that his grandmother taught him that one time that they bonded and it would work like a charm.

His ethereal servant was busy gathering all of the money and the imperfect stalked around, long tail swishing about. ”You, go outside and draw attention away from us.” It would let out a low growl before darting through the front door with inhuman speed, shattering doors as it went and leaving Michael with the two males. ”Alright do we have all of the money?”

The devotion shown by Chris to Hyperion was unnerving, to say the least. Is there going to be anything orthodox about this bank robbery?, Samuel asked himself.

"I believe so," Samuel answered to Hyperion. Chris nodded in confirmation.

With Chris in tow, Samuel headed to the windows and glanced outside, where the beast was wrecking havoc. Sirens could be heard in the background, but few people were to be seen. Apparently some people did have a degree of sense, and knew when to run.

"Is this the part where we leave?", Samuel asked Hyperion. This bank robbery wasn't anywhere near what he had been expecting, but he had been paid, and it wasn't an entirely unpleasant experience.

So the job had one off without a single hitch, not a thin out of place it would seem. The newly born ethereal would do as he had commanded, helping out his…partner in crime while Michael let the imperfect rampage as it willed. Things would be destroyed by it, and whatnot, yet that did not concern Michael too much. The blackened monster tore through a human’s throat with a single bite, sending a spray of blood across the ground as well along its flesh, only exciting its senses even more. A flexible tail whipped about, slamming into a car and then reducing it to a dented mess. Michael would look outwards, watching the mayhem for a moment before turning around, failing to notice the chill within the air, only a second too late did he feel it. Something powerful was entering the space, his breath coming out in a puff of mist.

”Well now, what do we have here?” A cold, yet young male voice noted. Seeming to appear out of nowhere was a young male, an inch taller than Michael with well kept blond hair, strange teal eyes and skin that seemed…inhuman, yet he was dressed within human clothing. The air about him seemed to chill rapidly as he looked to both the metahuman that was helping the ethereal and then the ethereal himself. ”I knew I sensed a strange energy within Los Angeles, but….well I suppose this is the first time I had the chance to check it out.” Michael hefted misanthropy slightly, feeling the danger that this male radiated, even though he simply seemed to recline within the air, crossing arms over his chest as the front of the bank began to freeze over, thick and durable ice blocking any escape, save for the back.

”So, what exactly are you? Some kind of fairy or a cold spirit playing hero?” Michael asked rather sarcastically, though the male could only chuckle at the question.

”What I am is of little importance, however you are a different story.” While it may not have seemed it, his sensory made him aware of everyone within a wide area.

NPC grid:

Samuel watched this brief conversation, looking back and forth between the two men, wondering which one was the more interesting. He had witnessed Michael turn two people into different "beings" and give semi-amnesia to a mother and child, while the other male appeared to have the ability to turns places of currency deposition and withdrawal into a Winter wonderland.

The male must have had extremely powerful ice/cold/whatever it was abilities, as it even gave Samuel a chill, like few things could. It piqued his interest that Hyperion/Michael (Sam wasn't really sure if this still counted as "on the job") had mentioned fairies and sprites; were they real, then? Voicing his question, Odien turned to Hyperion "Do you mean to imply that the fae are actually real? I thought that was just a myth?"

He ran a critical eye over the other blond, "I also thought they would look more...fairy like. I mean, I know there are stories of human-looking fae, but weren't they always women?" He failed to wonder whether or not this would have offended the icy blond, as tact occasionally eluded him at the worst times.

Typical human reaction, people can breathe fire and move the ground with their mind but the idea of The Fae would seem impossible; how idiotic. ”No, I’m just calling him really gay and bitchy.” Michael said with a roll of his eyes, growling lightly as he hefted misanthropy and pointed it towards Anthony. The male however only really snickered at the comment, shadows seeming to dance around his feet in a dark manner, some seeming to form rather dark looking tendrils. Something about what Michael had said amused him, yet that did not stop the tendrils from reaching out towards Odien, aiming to restrain him, but not to do any real harm, moving at immense speeds.

”And did you expect me to flutter around on wings and wear a dress?” Anthony queried slightly curious, arms crossed over his chest as the cie seemed to slowly spread from the door to the rest of the bank.

"I can deal with gay, but bitchy is a deal breaker, sorry," Samuel informed the blond, watching warily as long dark tendrils crept from the fairy towards him. Even with his above human reflexes he didn't have enough time to move, and the tendrils curled around him, making it nigh impossible for him to move.

"Could have at least bought me dinner first," Samuel muttered under his breath. "I didn't expect you to fly or have wings, but it would've been a nice touch. As it is, your fairyness, the grip is a little tight; mind loosening up?".

He didn't notice any alleviation of the pressure, so he simply sighed; the constriction wasn't altogether too painful, but the lack of mobility was kind of annoying.

”Surprises me he’s been able to stand me so long then.” Michael muttered lightly, rolling his eyes and keeping ready to strike at the male that now stood before them. Of course he was joking about himself being bitchy, yet he could not deny the whole gay part, not that sexual orientation really bothered Michael to begin with. Shadowy tendrils would bind Odien, hefting him into the air as the imperfect finished off the police and took notice of the icy barrier, ramming itself into it with a resounding crack. A few cracks would begin to spread out along its dense surface, but it would still take more than one attack to really break such a thick defense.

”I don’t know about loosening up, I kind of like you all tied up.” Anthony hummed smoothly, as the shadows would bind him tighter, yet they would not break skin, though slightly perforate clothing. In a blur of motion, Michael was gone, Misanthropy moving through the air in rapid succession and slashing out at the shadowy tendrils that held Odien, enough that they would weaken, most being half cut through. The speeds by which they were cut however made up for it, as he was quickly cut free from the grasp of the blond, who did not really vocally show his displeasure. ”An impressive blade you have there ethereal.”

”Maybe I can give you a…personal demonstration of what it can do.” Michael muttered drawing up to full height, still an unimpressive height for sure but he had what he was born with. One hand rose into the air and with a snap, three spheres of dark ethereal energy roared from around them, all trained upon Anthony and Michael called forth a pale white pistol, tossing it to Odien. ”Here, I think you’ll find this packs more of a punch than that peashooter.” It was a weapon that would unleash a burst of pure ethereal energy upon having the trigger pulled, though how powerful the blast was depended upon how long the trigger was pulled. It ranged from small bursts to radial blast, and it was something that would make him useful within the battle.

Anthony erected a barrier of ice, one that rose ahead of the blasts and took the brunt, shattering as the view of Michael rushing him came next. The blade misanthropy was raised into the air, and only three inches from his neck before the shadows rose to defend him, Mike jumping back before they tried to take his head off, using swift blows to deflect each attack aimed to kill. One raked along his cheek and drew black blood, and a deep growl from Michael as he waited for some back up from his ally.

Samuel rolled his eyes slightly at the remarks passed between the two. Falling to the ground unceremoniously  upon Michael cutting him free, he caught the pistol out of the air, and, relieved at having his form freed from the shadowy tendrils, quickly raises it to the blond’s chest. He lets out a few rapid bursts, though he was doubtful they will break through whatever shield the fairy managed to create. Sparing a quick sideways glance at Hyperion, Samuel grins at him,”Got to hand it to  you Mike, this is a pretty nice gun. Mind if I borrow it some time?”

Thinking quickly, as one does in the midst of battle, he said a quick goodbye to his gun, for he was fairly certain she wouldn’t survive this. He lifted his beloved, albeit mundane firearm, and threw it at the blond, following up with another few shots while the aforementioned blond attempted to shield himself. While he didn’t expect the attack to work, hopefully it would at least distract him momentarily, enough time for Michael to attack again.  Samuel did not have low confidence, but he could easily see that he was the underdog, by far, in this fight.

“So,” he began to inquire of the blond, “What exactly inspires a member of the Fae, such as yourself, or anyone really, outside of those of a heroic disposition, to interrupt two opportunistic businessmen such as ourselves?” .After finishing the question he fired two more rounds at his adversary, before giving a sheepish smile “Sorry, twitchy finger.”

With his ally offered a powerful weapon,that put the conflict on a more even level, even though the fae continued to prove that he was a powerful opponent within his own right. The difficult part would be hitting him, considering the control that he had over both ice and shadow. ”Thanks! Try not to blow your hand off with it.” Michael noted partially joking, though he did hope that the male did not end up maiming himself with the weapon. One would wander why Michael was worried about the metahuman harming himself, but the simply answer was that he did not need his ally nearly killing himself and possibly leaving the fight less within Michael’s favor. The few rapid bursts that were released slammed futily against the ice barrier, though they did take a chunk of it with them.

It seemed that he was going to use that weapon to great effect, Michael following in that moment. However it would have taken more than a few mundane tactics to fool the blond male, whos sight allowed for a view upon the situation that was…not as limited as one would assume. A tendril of shadows enwrapped the ice barrier, seemingly increasing the durability of it as more of the shots slammed into the barrier and weakened it even more. A loud crash would sound off behind him, as the imperfect broke through the ice barrier, shards of the cold substance falling to the ground and breaking. However as the ice and shadow barrier fell, the male was nowhere to be seen.

”Well, I was hoping to see an ethereal for myself.” Anthony noted seemingly appearing behind the two, arms still crossed over his chest as the one known as Chris was bound tightly in shadows. Then a few tendrils of shadows lashed out, much like blades in how they were designed and sharp enough to sheer through flesh with ease. Michael managed to easily dodge them, moving as speeds too fast for most to comprehend and closed the distance, Misanthropy clashing with one of the blade like shadows

An exclamation emitted from Samuel’s voice, as the male (who, when he had left the line of sight, Odien had hoped had ran away) appeared behind them suddenly; in the few moments of confusion he experienced, Sam’s hand jerked, firing the gun at the ground. The impact left a decent sized hole in the ground, throwing up several pounds of debris. A slight growl arose from within his chest.

“What is it with you and bondage?” he asked, rather irritated at the blond fairy. “Ethereal? As in heavenly? Does that mean you’re an Angel?” Samuel inquired, this time to Micheal. As he awaited an answer, Hyperion started attacking the Fae. Raising the gun yet again, Odien began firing it at the blond, hoping to avoid hitting Hyperion; that could be really bad. The confrontation did not seem to be going in their favor at this time, though it was hard to tell exactly; while a balanced fight may be more exciting, it certainly wasn’t better for the nerves.

“Hey, you!” Samuel shouted in an exasperated tone at the more monstrous of the bank tellers, “Feel free to help anytime.” It occurred to him that the man with the glowing eyes-Chris-might not be entirely useless, and any assistance would be great here. “I don’t suppose there are any magic cards up your sleeve, are there?”. While he was “tied up”, there was a possibility that his glowing eyes could contain some power.

A burst of ammunition came from the firearm, as Samuel persisted in his efforts. There was a frustrating lack of success from the rounds, though the Metahuman was sure if any of the shots landed they could do serious damage; the small crater in the ground was proof of that.

As that thought crossed through his mind, an idea occurred to him. Sam lowered the gun and fired it at the ground near the blond several times, and as dust and concrete flew into the air he holstered the gun, using the place his own firearm had previously occupied, and unsheathed a knife from the back of his paints, under the jacket. Using the debris as a distraction, he darted forward and stabbed at the fairy, aiming for the jugular.

Michael narrowly dodged another shadowy tendril, one that would have shorn through his face. Eyes narrowed upon the fae before turning to the male, one that had said something about him being an angel. The guy was firing off some of the rounds at the blond, though they found themselves mostly negated by the shadowy tendrils that went up to defend him. While he would have enjoyed throwing a witty retort towards the whole angel thing, they had more important things to do other than banter back and forth. Silver eyes shot to the bound ethereal, almost as if expecting him to finally release his ethereal energy and do something with the power that Michael had granted him; rather than wasting it.

Without wasting a second, Michael rushed Anthony, letting Misanthropy whistle through the air, aimed for his neck. A barrier of ice formed over his neck, before growing further, pushing Michael back to avoid any sort of serious injury. However he was not prepared for the shots that fired off at his feet, creating a cloud of dust, yet that did not blind his far reaching sight very easily. He saw the male coming in to attack his neck and so Anthony raised one hand, as the shadows snaked along it, moving to apprehend the wrist that was lashing out at him. ”Too slow.” Anthony noted simply, blinking a few times as the dust cleared.

”Good thing that’s not a problem for me.” Michael noted, seeming to appear from nowhere, as Misanthropy was drawn across the males back, releasing a small spurt of blood. The ice may have stopped him from cutting the male in two but it was enough to force him to release Odien if he were captured, as well as the ethereal. With rapid movements, Michael moved away from a counter attack, as the ethereal released a barrage of energy attacks that wore away at the males defenses slowly.
