Personality:

Connie is very inquisitive and very pacifistic. She prefers compassion and understanding to grudges and hatred. However, she is fond of Earth. She knows that, while good and evil are purely matters of perception, she will always defend Earth, not because it is particularly the right thing to do, but because she likes Earth and its people and would hate to see them subjugated or wiped out. She is a true enigma. Her hyper awareness has led to many allies failing to understand her. And her motivations are oft perplexing. But most don't ask questions, as long as she is on their side.

History:

"Connie" awoke, floating in the vastness of space. She had no recollection of how she got there. However, she was drifting near a small, blue planet. She soon found that she was attuned to the very strings that hold the cosmos together. Using this, she was able to determine that the planet was called Earth. She could feel every cell in her body as it pulled in the cosmic energies around her. In time, she found that she was able to guide herself. So she flew down to the little blue planet, where she was quickly noticed.

After making fools of a number of forces sent to apprehend her for testing, she was revealed to the general public. She began to appreciate the little blue rock, deciding to settle there. Throughout numerous adventures, she would discover more of her abilities. However, said adventures would also eventually take her back to the stars, seeking answers. She has since gone back and forth as a guardian of the Earth and the rest of the universe in peril.

The Powers

Power 1: Cosmic Energy Absorption & Emission
Connie's body absorbs cosmic energy which she feeds on. However, she takes in far more than she needs. She can expel this excess energy. However, if she begins to get into her reserves, she may risk growing very tired or weak. Her absorption powers the rest of her abilities as well, meaning that when she is running low, she will grow as frail as a mortal human being. Her body can best take in cosmic energy while she is out in the void, uninterrupted by planetary atmospheres or structures erected by a planet's inhabitants. She can expel the energy in various forms, including beams from the eyes for a concentrated heat, high power concussive blasts from her hands, radial explosions and waves, and so-on. While she can take in energy while on the surface, it is an incredibly slow process. Occasionally being struck by a cosmic blast may result in the sensation of Zero-G for about five seconds.

Power 2: Flight
Connie can soar through the air and is among the fastest fliers. While in space, she can harness the power of her cosmic energies to fly at warp, although this comes at the sacrifice of control and does utilize plenty of energy, much faster than she can absorb it, meaning that she can't maintain this for long. She cannot fly anywhere near top speed while within the atmosphere of a planet (for a list of reasons, not the least of which being that she could easily cause a catastrophic event this way).

Power 3: Superhuman Physiology
While empowered, Connie is physically superior to human beings, proving to be far stronger and much more resilient.

Power 4: Cosmic Intuition
Connie has what she refers to as a Cosmological Aptitude. The Cosmos is everything. It is not divided by races or languages. Because she is attuned to the "Bindings of the Universe," she is not restricted by language barriers and is understanding of the mechanics of alien cultures, even if she has never encountered them before, simply by psychically finding their place on the "Cosmic Web" (which is represented on her body). This doesn't mean, however, that she has to agree with every race, simply because something they do is just their way. It means that she will simply make no claim to be acting in the name of justice, should she oppose them. With this, she can sense amplified emotions, which is often what brings her into action, as she most often uses this to sense distress or rage.
