The Beginning of a New Era. (Artemis, Ouroborous,The Valtiari and Vexus)

Today was the day. The day that everything was going to change. It was a day long awaited and nearly countless preparations had been made. Jessica Magic was on her way to the top, and Elena Vexus was following right behind her. After shaking hands with Death on multiple occasions, Elena came across a remarkable discovery in relation to her stolen Celestial Eye. Because it causes a violent cancer like reaction in the body when being used by a human, there was an ability that the Eye posses in order to remain 'alive'. It possessed the ability to dematerialize itself and enter another body and allow it to become the new host. However Vexus was not willing to give up this power so willingly. She had found a way to attach her consciousness into the dematerialization process so that when it enters another body, her mind will suppress that of the host and she will retain all of her memories of her past body. Following the possession of another body, Vexus would return to her lab and have her technomites reconstruct her body so that she appeared just as she had previously. Jessica Magic was quite the public figure and if her looks all of a sudden changed, she might gain some unwanted attention. Her trip to the nations capital though, much needed attention
Ms. Magic was to be recognized at the White House in Washington D.C. for her efforts on rebuilding New York City. It had been going quite well and there was only a small amount of the city left to bring back to life. The US Government also wanted to get their hands in the profits of this new element now seeing it's potential. In giving Jessica the spotlight in D.C. it would also shed more light on the Omnicillium element encouraging more international building companies to purchase it, at least that is what D.C. had planned. They were in it for the money, Vexus had much bigger plans.
An informing message had been sent out to a select handful of individuals to make sure that they attended this event in D.C. Their travels should go undetected since there was already a large influx of traveling to the Washington D.C. area since this was all going to be publicized and broadcast nationwide. Media crews, paparazzi, and every kind of camera was headed to the nation's capital to watch history be made.

Vexus traveled via a private jet to D.C. where she was welcomed graciously by the President himself..
"Ms. Jessica Magic! It's lovely to finally meet you"
"Thank you, it is an absolute honor to be here."
Walking off the jet behind Jessica were two men with long blonde hair in black suits with sunglasses on. The President kind of gave them a weird look but continued on anyways. Ms. Magic rode with the President in the back of the limo back to the White House. On the way, there were already crowds gathering for the ceremony. Once they arrived Jessica was led into into the White House, her own personal security trailing close behind the Secret Service men. She was informed that the event will still be commencing as scheduled. There were chairs being setup on the front lawn and guests were being seated. They were dressed nice, but nothing too extravagant. It was to be a nice event, but more casual in nature. Vexus was almost getting antsy, everything was working out too. Everyone was there, from the President himself right down to the Secretary of Homeland Security. The stage was set, it was time to put her plan into action.

The President was the first to take the stage.
"Over the years, our beautiful country has been battered and beaten by the aftermath of MetaHuman conflict. Though they are not to blame. We cannot, and will not discriminate towards our brethren. It has been a ongoing process to find common ground on how to deal with the destruction without placing any blame on either parties. However, now we will enter an era where no one will have any reason to fear any attack. Whether it be from MetaHuman or even terrorists. We will be protected. A brilliant scientist by the name of Jessica Magic will be leading us into our new era. Her discoveries will thrust this nation into the future. Ladies and gentlemen it is my pleasure to introduce Ms.Jessica Magic."
The crowd applauded, some of the attendees outside the gate cheered for her as Ms.Magic walked onto the stage. She had on black heels that sparkled when the light it them. With every step the red soles of the shoes flashed bright. Her dress was about ankle length, it had a slit up the right thigh, and it was also black that sparkled slightly when it was viewed at the right angle. Vexus took to the podium and pushed her raven hair behind her ear looking out to the crowd, and past the gates of the white house there were crowds of people. Nothing but collateral damage to her.

"Thank you, Mr.President. It is an absolute honor to be here on this beautiful day. And thank you very much to each and every one of you for attending. This means the world to me." she said, her voice booming over the loudspeakers.
"As I stand before all of you on the historical occasion, it simply excites me to know that we will be moving so far into the future so fast. And yes, it may seem forceful and possibly even frightening. But know that it is all for the better. This country, and counties all around the world will be safe from literally everything and anything. If we cannot harm one another, then what is the point of fighting? Issuing in this newly discovered building element will at the same time bring peace..."
There was a little bit of clamor with the Secret Service, as Jessica was going off topic. The two long blonde haired individuals also began to move closer to her person. Almost immediately they were help back from moving any closer. Unfazed by any of this, Ms.Magic continued her speech.
"Peace is not something that this country, or this world, has known in centuries. There has always been death and there has always been killing. I believe that both of those thing, even though synonymous, will continue ruthlessly tearing through this world. I am sorry to say, ladies and gentlemen, that today is not the day where peace becomes the prominent force in this universe. However, I do promise that if all goes according to plan a futuristic and peaceful world will emerge as the first of its kind."
The crowd was looking upon Ms.Magic with a confused and worried look. Everything was falling silent as an eerie aura fell upon the sea of bodies.

"Allow me to explain."
In that very instant all of the chairs of those in the crowd restrained them. There were seventeen in particular who's chairs were a little more 'restraining'. The members of the President's Cabinet were taken by surprise, from the Vice President all the way down to the Secretary of Homeland Security.
"My name is Elena Vexus. Not Jessica Magic. That is all the explanation you need. Now, I invite you all to witness history in the making!"

Guns were drawn and immediately Vexus was fired on, however a barrier of sorts was erected around her completely protecting her from harm; the source of which was one of the long haired blonde males. With a flick of her wrist, everyone who had been restrained by the chairs with the exception of the Cabinet members were dematerialized into a cloud of silver dust which gracefully dance around Vexus. The Secret Service barricaded around the President as they ran towards the white house. With a laugh Elena walked off the podium following slowly behind them. She signaled to one of her body guards who send a bird of sorts speeding in front of the President striking the ground an exploding sending them all flying backwards. Suddenly a shield appeared around Vexus as more bullets bounced off. Looking up she saw snipers on the roof, and before they could take another shot a blonde woman clad in white appeared behind them quickly disposing of every last one of them. Elena smirked, so far so good.
The President's body guards quickly got to their feet drawing the guns and taking aim. The silver cloud which she had gathered early rushed to her defense blocking the shots that all the men took. Flowing to Vexus' will it struck down each and every member of the Secret Service turning the bodies into Technomatter. She could see the fear in the President's eyes as she approached.
"Do not worry, I need to keep you alive..."
"But why... Why are you doing this!?"He asked in a shaky voice.
"Because if I don't, there will never again be anyone competent enough to do so..."
Vexus extended her arm forward encasing the President in a cocoon of technomatter and putting him with the others and moving them all onto the stage.
"Our air lift is en route." said one of the blonde men to Vexus who nodded her head and stepped back up onto the stage. Looking out she could see pandemonium being unleashed throughout the streets of Washington D.C. . She smiled seeing that everything was going according to plan. The three blondes, The Valtiari, appeared around her as she raised both of her arms up until they were extended out at about a forty-five degree angle. The Celestial Eye glowed bright as the Technomatter swirled powerfully around the stage as the quantity of it began to increase rapidly and expand outwards. Eventually the entire lawn was covered in a silver lake of strange matter. Elena brought her hands down and put her hand to her nose feeling something. Looking at her fingers there was blood, the creation of this much Technomatter must have put more of a strain on this body than she first assumed. She may have to switch out again once she returns to NYC.
It was about at this time when the military came into play. Tanks, Apaches, F-15s, foot soldiers, so on and so fourth. This was also about the time where Vexus started to have fun. The hired Trio took off. Valentina started to slaughter the soldiers with her blinding speed and superior fighting skills. Giovanni took to the skies dealing taking on the jets with his explosive energies. Yvvone stayed next to Elena keeping an eye on his brother and sister while also providing protection to his employer. Meanwhile Vexus started to deal with the takes with her massive amounts of Technomatter, easily being able to crush and flip them over. She even managed to grab a hold of a tank, and launch it towards another area.

Elena Vexus displayed a proud evil grin as she looked out on the destruction. Her hired hands were doing their jobs quite well on the other battle fields from what she could see. A Barrier was flung up around her as a fighter jet came crashing into the lawn almost knocking out some of the white house. Vexus quickly moved the Technomatter and tore the crashed jet apart whipping the debris at the looming helicopters. The speed at which they were thrown was too fast for the pilots to react, most of them going down after impact. A couple still remained firing down a rain of missiles and bullets. A barrier was put up and the technomatter coated it as an extra layer of defense. When all the smoke and debris cleared Vexus and Yvvone were still standing strong. Two whips of the silver sand like substance shot up from the large pool, grabbed the copters by the tail and dragged them both into the ground.
"Ahhhaahahaaa!! I should have done this a very, very long time ago!"
The destruction continued and the casualties climbed. Vexus was merciless with her assault on the nation's capital and with her escape plan on its way, there would be little to no one who would be able to stop her.

This was the beginning of a new era, the beginning of the true Genesis Vivification Movement.

.     Robert Soros watched everything. Miss Magic's flight, Her talk with the president and her safe transport through the limo. The woman was under his gaze and she didn't even know it yet....and he hadn't even left LA yet. He sat there on his luxury leather seat, a slight smile on is face as his eyes were plastered wide open as he looked out the window. Ouroboros couldn't help but let out a breathy chuckle. So today was the day it would seem. The day it all fell down. Ouroboros began to snigger, and turned into a full blown laugh. The woman known as "Miss Magic" was actually doing this, he couldn't believe the woman was going to reveal her true colors. This was like a movie for him, watching little ants play God and form a sense of superiority over each other. Granted now, Miss Magic was not an ant, oh no she was a rather valuable tool in her own right. In the beginning, Ouroboros assisted Jessica Magic out of a publicity stunt, to boost the already accredited company. Now however, the name of the game has changed...

pointless stuff only important to the character really:

    This is why Ouroboros supported the turmoil. The woman spoke about peace, one of it's own kind would emerge from the "plan" she had formulated. Ouroboros just laughed. The more chaos, the more turmoil and destruction that she created, that she caused...the more FEAR she instilled into people the more he benefitted from it all. She then invited them, all of them to witness the dawn of a new Era. Ouroboros' eyes closed his laughter died into a chuckle. When his eyes opened they were perfectly normal by measures of human means, his Ethereal energy vanishing from all forms of detection and he simply enjoyed the felling. The fluttering heart was a nice touch to the butterflies in the stomach at the thought of all the hard work this woman was doing FOR him. The only part that he had any tone of dislike for was the one little thing... that name. That God-forsaken name.

   Elena Vexus. The mind of Zell Atterrius recognized it from the Dominus files, the mind of Ouroboros knew it as the one whom harmed someone VERY dear to him. Though he was quite certain that he was informed that her life had ben ended by a bullet through her head. This made Ouroboros look into his goblet, the white wine barely giving off his reflection. The first thing he though of was Sean. True enough, he was in Africa trying to do something or other...but the last thing Ouroboros could see was Elena Vexus hearing about her killer being an eleven-year old. Granted, he was well protected by one whom was superior to most any life form on the planet... he did not like this. Ouroboros forced himself to focus, his mind connecting to the Nexus of all Ethereal beings, reaching out to Guardian and the other Six sins.

    Guardian, Elena Vexus is alive. Sean's protection is of the utmost importance. Take NO risk. You are authorized to tap into the Occuli and access your Guardian form. I am sending the other Six to follow your progress. Ouroboros said. At this single thought, the other six Ouroboros clones moved towards Africa from their random location.

    Understood. Guardian's reply was indeed expected, but what he didn't expect was Vanguard speaking through the link. Ouroboros took a sup from the Wine.

    Negative, the youngest son is in DC. Ouroboros Immediately sprayed the air with the wine he had just taken in. He did not trust Miss Magic from the beginning, you should have seen this coming... Vanguard said, a tone of taunting and belittlement. The Vanguard would pay for that in his own time.

    Michael's energy has also been detected. The Ethereal Prince Michael is in DC. Scout hopped in. Ouroboros threw his hand down on the end table. If both Michael AND Silus were there, then Elena Vexus stood no chance and neither did any pathetic form of defenses she had planned for herself. Perhaps a little Fatherly persuasion could convince Silus to leave, and a little "Tough Love" could get Michael to back his thick skull out of situations that don't concern him. The Ethereal Arc powered up and in a flash of light, Ouroboros was gone.

   His appearance was right next to that of Vanguard,  Ouroboros saw a tank flying through the air. His first thought of course was Are you kidding me? He grabbed the child and dove forward moving the child literally from under the tank. He rolled and growled as he placed a hand on Silus' shoulder. The little eleven year old looking up, indigo-blue eyes faintly glowing. The little child shook, and Ouroboros smiled. Silus was powerful, but he was still a child and Elena Vexus just effectively scared him beyond the point of actually doing anything. The poor child had already "stepped up" on so many other occasions, but none of them were as nightmarish as this. Ouroboros sighed and put a hand on his son's cheek. "Go...I'll take care of this." He assured the child. Silus nodded, trusting fully what Ouroboros had said.

   Vanguard grabbed onto Silus and the Ethereal Arc teleported them elsewhere. Robert Soros drew out a cigarette and stuck the tip on the flaming fuselage that was an apache tank. All Lights Revered activated for a short time, conjuring the illusion that Ouroboros simply was not there. This Illusion was projected specifically to the Valtiari, as he wished to be able to speak with Miss Vexus. He was able to mask his sound, his smell, and his very existence. This was FAR more useful than the bland invisibility of course, though he quickly closed the distance He casually made his way through the crowd as he began to actually approach the podium, the illusion faded as he walked up the stairs, eyes returning to normal before they could be clearly seen, clapping as he was genuinely impressed.

    "I have to say...if you succeed then you REALLY need to have this recreated as a movie. I might need to even ask for an autograph." His voice boomed, though he acted casually. He picked out the small box of cigarettes and held out his hand. "Would you like one to save? Celebratory or otherwise?" He asked, his own in the other hand, between his forefinger and middle finger. His paladin armor had already fortified. He noticed the speed-demon moving around with her usual, and now she was with the one male, the energy one, if he recalled correctly. His Paladin armor was still guised as a regular suit and tie. He looked around with a sigh. He had to admit it....the woman was damn impressive.

Items used:

Giovanni chimed in reports of conflicts starting all around the D.C. area, just as she had planned. The influx of military support was beginning to dwindle, however her and her three 'employees' were still defending their captives. Their air lift was taking much longer than had expected. Elena was not entirely worried about it as she had the situation on her front under control. There was no doubt other metahumans in the area, most of which were being dealt with by her hired forces in the field. Though if worse comes to worse, she had other methods of escape.
Vexus and the Valtiari continued to ground multiple airborne offenses while also subduing most of the land forces. It was almost sport for the four of them, the military might was laughable compared to their power. It did not seem as if they had the power to shut down Vexus' operation. Be though as it may, there were many strong MetaHumans on the planet and any one of them could show up at Elena's door step to cause her just a little more grief. And that is exactly what happened.

None other than Robert Soros. One of her benefactors for this whole operation. He was partially the reason for why this was happening. She immediately recognized the voice but could not immediately pin point its location. Her eyes darted around before she saw out of the corner of her eye the man walking up the steps onto her podium.
"I have to say...if you succeed then you REALLY need to have this recreated as a movie. I might need to even ask for an autograph." He said casually talking out a box of cigarettes. He offered her one which she politely accepted. She glanced at the tip of the cigarettes and it caught a quick spark lighting it. Taking a drag and puffing out the smoke in a few rings, she kept it between her index and middle finger as she turned back to Robert.
"My, my. Aren't you the sneaky one Mr.Soros." she said flicking the ashes off of the cigarette a bit.
"The only thing I wonder about right now is what exactly you are doing here... As you can see, I am kind of in the middle of something..." she said taking another hit of the cigarette as another fighter jet spiraled downward into the background. The sea of Technomatter retreated from the various tanks and choppers it was tearing apart and swirled around the podium that Vexus and Robert were standing on.
"With that being said, I am going to have to ask you to leave. Now." This sentence was much more stern. This would more than likely be his one and only chance to leave the premises before she reduced him to dust. Or at least tried to. The reports she had gotten from the Valtiari proved that he could be quite the threat if not dealt with immediately. Elena respected others with powers, which is why she was giving him this once chance to leave. There would be no need for any more supporters, benefactors, or press coverage. She was on the brink of something big and absolutely no one was going to get in her way.

Ouroboros looked to Vexus and smiled, still as warm and kind as ever, a state of total tranquility. She presumed to order him...the Ethereal King. In a moment he could project a portal and swarm a legion of creatures far beyond any mere beast she saw in the stolen files that conveniently slipped his fingers. Ouroboros had a plan for everything. The files being taken, the fight between Scout and her three little lackeys. Ouroboros had been playing her from the moment he arranged for that private meeting in New York when she captured the Spirit of Nature. It was true, Ouroboros told her to focus on infrastructure, roads and the like to "show off" her material in small ways, but in reality it was more of a test. A means of progression a slowly conquered rung on the ladder. But it was then that he slowly began to see through Miss Magic's guise. No human was so benevolent after all. So then he began to asses her personality, to put the woman to the test. Michael fighting her was a nice little insight to her capabilities...and her crucial mistake by leaving her "material" inside Artemis' body was more than enough to tell him everything he needed to know.

   She created this material, and so she could control it. To be expected, at this point a lot of cities were living weapons to her. She was at the spearhead of the entire thing and the woman delivered a rather "self-confident" speech. With the whole "left over material" Not only did it allow him analytical time with the substance, but it showed him that the woman was so confident...she was careless...  Either way...Ouroboros loved it.

   Ouroboros knew this from the get go, part of him always knew it but she was rather charismatic if nothing else. She was a smart woman who functioned as he did. Logically and without remorse or regret. Knowing this he allowed for his data to be stolen, he SPECIFICALLY ordered Scout to stay and Fight the Valtiari. Why? Because Scout was the second weakest of the seven Deadly sins, Gluttony. With the information relayed to Jessica Magic (or Elena Vexus) she would have information that she acquired through her own means, and since she was so confident in her work, she would likely assume that it was done perfectly and she'd have no reason to suspect anything different. Unfortunately for her and her Trio...Ouroboros was no less than ten times more powerful than Scout...and the kicker? He emitted no energy, gave of no sign of superhuman nature. He was the perfect parlor trick, and while she very well may know he is a powerful threat, she had no clue the gravitas. He looked to the Trio of people and chuckled still with that warm and kind face.

  "Four against one?" Ouroboros asked as he sighed. To one with a mind as advanced as his minutes seemed to drag on like hours, and so the thoughts seemed to draw out, though running his hands through his hair , letting the black locks slip through his fingers as he chuckled. He glared directly at Valentina "You still don't stand a chance sweetheart." He said to her as his with teeth shined. He cleared his throat and crossed his arms, looking directly to Vexus, unlike her he would miss no detail, he would leave not a single molecule unaccounted for. He crossed his arms and looked to the woman named Miss Vexus. In truth, he had no wish to fight her, he simply wanted to see her progress through. In fact, he was actually here to make sure his son Michael didn't ruin this. He has too much invested in this to let that little brat-prince of his ruin it all. Vexus' plan had to succeed...for now. But he also needed to test her. She was doomed to failure, the odds were not in her favor, Failure was predestined, but not here. Not yet. He looked to the direction where he felt Michaels energy radiating. His sentences seemed to blur together from the taunting to discussing Michael whom had just let his energy known.

  "The Reflecting pools is where your old nemesis lies...the one you needed to run away from... the boy with the Maelstrom." He said, recalling Michael regaling them at the table over the event. The more he thought of it, the more he recalled Miss Magic's slip ups. The slides in her conference, the attempts at attacking the cities in the same armor. Granted...were the shoe on the other foot things may or may not have been different."Miss Vexus, I'll be blunt. I'm not here to stop you I'm here to assess you, weather you know it or not there is a greater destiny awaiting, but unfortunately it is not under your banner... whether it is by your hand or not, that has yet to be seen. While I enjoy the custom of talking, I believe all that needs to be said has been said. Are you ready? Lady's first, Miss Vexus." He stated, basically alerting the woman perhaps a little more than he wanted to, but it was not of consequence. She had her chance, and he hoped she would take it.

The Valtiari were approaching they're previous opponent when Vexus threw up her hand, sending them away. The man was overconfident. Yes, Elena was also overconfident at times though may have never actually experienced the same level of overconfidence directly. She did not like it. Did this man not understand exactly what she was accomplishing? And Elena Vexus not standing a chance? Laughable. It was everyone else that did not sand a chance against her. Still yet he continued.
Next Robert mentioned her fight with a boy who conjured up a Maelstorm forcing her to retreat. Yes, she did need to 'run away' though the circumstances did not allow for any other options. This man's next statement was one that truly annoyed her. An assessment? A greater destiny? What sort of deity did he think he is? He clearly wanted her to attack him, it was obvious. Robert was baiting Vexus, and she was going to take the bait. It was just a matter if Mr.Soros would be able to handle all that he's caught...

Vexus' eyes narrowed at the man and her left eye glowed.
"You speak very big words for a man so small..."
All at once her Technomatter rushed passed her to brutally strike down this man all while keeping herself shrouded heavily. Still exposed was the left side of her face in order to keep an eye on his movements. The sliver sand-like material would thrash about violently bending to Vexus' will aiming to ensnare this man one way or another. Just the slightest speck would spell death for Robert. Elena would easily be able to rapidly produce enough of the matter to completely engulf him. There would be no mercy shown. She would easily and immediately tear him limb from limb or simply crush him with pressure if able to get a hold on him. Though at this point it would be impressive to see him escape as he is surrounded by torrential sea of Technomatter.
As the onslaught of the matter persisted, Vexus began to rise up above the stage she had spoke on moments early in a cocoon like shape. Below, silver waves began to crash over and drown the podium and converting it too into Technomatter. Hopefully taking part of Robert Soros down as well. This man's confidence and pride was not to be left unscathed in this conflict.

. "I'd have thought you more of a butterfly myself..." He chuckled slightly seeing the technomatter descending upon him. There was no hiding it any longer it would seem. He noticed her one exposed eye, the unique one, perhaps similar to his own. It was of little consequence however. Desiring to both actually challenge the woman AND keep himself rather secret from a certain Sorceress he was conflicted, for If he continued to keep ALL of his secrets stowed away he might as well be a slippery squishy human against God. With a snap of his finger reality itself bended around his hand, and instantly a blur of beautiful greens and blues slashing through the air like the brilliant strokes of paint upon a portrait. Red and purple lightning seemed to snap and crackle around the brush as he rose his hand up. The colors all followed through to his hand, forming and assimilating into a rather beautiful sword.

A pale green energy vibrating from the mystically humming blade. He made four slashes, one to each cardinal direction before following it up with a rotating slash over his head like a helicopter blade. Each slash projected two spirit blades of equal force, clashing with the technomatter that would otherwise have made mincemeat of him. The slashes seemed to be of equal strength and canceled each other out, buying him a moment.

"Very Well...since you were nice enough to show me yours..." He said as he pulled at the front of his air, before shifting and pressing it back, spiking it in the front slightly, allowing perfect vision between him and the woman. "I'll show you mine..." He said, his eyelids flew open. Emerald green eyes dimly glowing, and the blacks of his eyes no longer pupils, rather serpent like rings, the symbol of his namesake. In this instant he could see everything as clear as day. His reflexes reacted, and as if in a single heart beat he could almost see what was going to happen before it even did. He also saw the very purest for of energy emitted by the woman, and it was then that he noticed that her eye had a rather unique energy to it...in fact one that was rather familiar. The same energy as the Celestial Queen, and the Sorceress he was oh so hoping to avoid. He was also able to note that this technomatter substance shared an energy with the eye itself. No wonder it took him so long to understand the substance... it seemed to have some connection with the Crimson Bitch.

"Well someone's been playing Celestial's fire." Ouroboros said unimpressed. He brought his arm up and threw it, sending it for the ground. He dove forth, jumping and positioning himself perfectly in balance on the hilt of his sword as he landed. With inhuman balance he proceeded to jump and lunge at Vexus in the cocoon. As he approached he brought his hand back and his eyes narrowed, shifting, looking all around, processing every potential threat and formulating a defense. The blade vanished from the ground and reappeared in his hand, in time to make an attempt at the cocoon to test it's defensive power.

He was obviously no stranger to combat. Robert quickly drew a sword from what seemed to have ben thin air and wielded it with break skill. Each slash unleaded a powerful wave of energy that collided with her Technomatter keeping her attacks at bay for the time being. He then revealed his own ocular ability as his eyes had changed to something more reptilian in nature. Impressively enough, Mr.Soros knew that the origin of her eye was Celestial. These eyes of his must have granted him some sort of insight as he had not mentioned her eye previously. Vexus was not amused by the green color schem he was presenting. Geen was a hideous color.
In a very acrobatic display, he plunged his sword into the ground and perched him self atop of the hilt. Elena watched his following movements closely as the Technomatter was closing in rapidly on him. He then launched himself off of his sword heading straight for Vexus. The sea of sliver below engulfed his sword and dozens of tendrils rushed up after him. To her surprise, the sword reappeared in his hand not having been devoured by the matter below. The cocoon she had herself in quickly shrouded her face as he struck at her defense.
The impact was strong, strong enough to send her flying out of the other side of the cocoon. Mid air the Technomatter formed a runway of sorts and she was able to catch her balance. Elena was unfazed by the impact as her defense had protected her for the most part, though the force of the impact continued through. She stood tall on her platform watching as the tendrils of Technomatter continued after the man aiming to impale and ensnare him. Her face held an expression of somewhat amusement, as it had been a while since she would be able to have fun like this. Her silver element continued its ruthless onslaught on this man while simultaneous her red suit of armor began to take form over her body.

After just a few seconds her suit was completely active, she gave a smirk and slid the visor over her face and took off from the Technomatter pad she had been standing on, which dissipated and followed her. The armor had it's defense turned up to maximum as she flew in closer to the man (+4DUR). She drew both of her M.Tech Guns and began to open fire. Flying around at a number of different angles Vexus mercilessly attacked the man, with the Technomatter still at large it would be rather difficult to launch another attack towards her. There was plenty of Matter not only on the ground, but swirling around her to add to the difficultly in finding an opening to strike. Elena Vexus was, for once, taking this conflict seriously and it would be highly recommended that Mr.Soros do the same.

She was launched through the other side of the cocoon, which was not entirely unexpected but it was still slightly amusing. Being able to manipulate this much energy had to be taxing in it's own respect, something he made mental note of. So far she was at least impressive in the way she handled her power, even going to the lengths to try and hide herself behind the silver waves. Unfortunately, when you combine super human hearing and the fat he could see energies and life essence, it was rather easy to track the woman. Tendrils left and right began to spawn, All of them with the intention of impaling him he would assume. Looking over his shoulder as he began towards the ground, confirming what he had heard.

  A tendril was en route to pierce his spine and rumble his ribcage. He leaned back in his fall, the tendril blew past him and he spun around, kicking the tendril. While he didn't expect to actually destroy the tendril he did know that the solid substance would allow for a great place to kick off from. With bullet flying at him, he kicked off the tendril and turned, his back to the ground again, but by no means was he ill prepared to defend himself. With inhuman fighting skill and god-like perception he was able to slash the bullets, and not only was he able to slash the bullets, but he managed to send three spirit slashes at the suited woman before needing to flip himself back, landing on the ground perched on his blade. He sighed as he watched Technomatter begin to consume the blade, denaturing it and dematerializing it. He had formulated a theory... time to put it to the test. He leapt from the Blade back into the air. He then landed almost as if the air were solid ground, the area in the air warped, except this time what sounded like a chorus of screaming souls, terrified and crying out in agony would fill the air. The air would be filled with a somber Macabre energy, one that was untraceable and constantly changing, yet somehow felt. Suddenly an enveloping force was released and it sounded as if some form of angry demon let out a fierce cat-like roar as purple and black majestic flame bent reality and revealed that Ouroboros stood upon a new blade, the blade known only as the ancient magical blade of hatred Misanthropy. His eyes narrowed upon the woman and he began to process information acquired.

   "So far so good..." He mused as he thought about the situation, analyzing every movement and every action, though at this moment he was content to simply watch his beloved blade Sovereignty be consumed by the technomatter.

Nimble and resourceful. He sent himself to the ground and quickly her Terchnomatter began to close in on him, obviously staying in one spot would never prove successful against Vexus. He laser-like bullets were simply deflected by his weapon while simultaneously sending three powerful waves of energy identical to what was utilized when the sword was first summoned. Quickly countering, three waves of Technomatter equal in size rushed to Elena's defense taking the impact of the offensive move. The energy released from the sword knocked the Matter out of formation in the same way a sand castle would be knocked apart, there was still some of the silver material floating in the air which Vexus selectively manipulated into tiny bullets that shot downward. Robert was able to avoid them back flipping back onto his blade once again, Elena though immediately retaliated by using the Technomatter that had just impaled the ground around the sword to rapidly multiply and engulf his weapon hoping to not allow him to retrieve it this time around.
It did not appear as if he would as he flew up into the air once again, this time landing on what seemed to be some sort of invisible platform. Whatever he was standing on began to warp the space around his feet with a sound that the Devil himself would find unpleasant. Following was a strange sort of presence in the air. It was some form of energy, but nothing that Vexus would keep on her radar for more than just a blip. The screeches condensed to a demonic roar accompanied with flames in shades of evil. After the dramatic displace it was revealed that her opponent stood upon yet another blade. The powers that this one might have possessed she would only be able to guess. Vexus stood at the ready, as anything was to be expected with this man.

Again, she was the first to strike sending her Technomatter that had just devoured his sword spiraling upwards to bring any sort of harm it could to her opponent. On her guns, she turned the dial up on the size of the energy-bullets it fired increasing them from regular bullet size to more golf ball sized. They may move slower and be easier to see, but the potential damage they could cause would be much greater. Elena pulled more of her Technomatter, which was separate from the batch aiming to strike from underneath, from around her and the ground and formed them into superdense bullets. She repeated the attack she performed earlier, this time if they missed, were broken apart, or deflected, they would be recycled and reformed before being fired again from whatever spot they ended up. Vexus had a mastery over her element and would continue to demonstrate so. There was just one thing that perplexed her. The first time she tried to destroy his sword she failed and it was just simply transported back into his hand. Upon the second attempt it appeared as if he allowed the sword to be destroyed. It was because of this that Vexus paid explicit attention to the Technomatter which contained the dematerialized sword and, for at least the time being, not allowing it to intermingle with the other preexisting Technomatter. Every precaution needed to be taken, this was not going to be the stage of her defeat.

. He stood there upon his sword, which upon the empathic link remained floating, allowing him to remain away from the Technomatter on the ground. The very essence that just earlier consumed the blade known as Sovereignty now shot up and aimed to strike out at him. Ouroboros scoffed as he folded his arms over his chest and closed his eyes, head shaking in disappointment. The woman was certainly powerful, but fighting her thus far proved irritating and tedious rather than daring and dangerous. An evaluation was an evaluation however, and he was to execute this one with the same fervor and zeal as all evaluations prior. Not being able to touch the ground was irritating though. Probably her attempt to demoralize him through a display of power and taking the fight to a new "elevation" that he was not accustom too. Unfortunately for her, air-based combat was actually a "specialty" of his. Once a LONG time ago... Exosuits were his only means of heroism. The remembrance of being a heroic fool made Ouroboros to snigger as he bent at the knees and shot up, jumping up and back as the Technomatter shot up. Misanthropy flew out and circled around the pillar that flew out and plotted it's own course to intercept Ouroboros before he reached any lower elevation than when he had jumped.

Had that been the end of the assault that would have been one thing, however it was not. Incredible golf-ball sized bullets of sorts. He sighed at the thought of this. It could not be helped any longer. He finally needed to use it. He allowed but one rain-drops worth of his Ethereal energy to seep through, and in an instant he had accessed the Etherium itself. He called upon the power of another realm entirely and augmented his own power. He stepped off the blade and suspended in air, proving now capable to walk upon it. Meanwhile the remainder of the energy not fixated on stimulating and sustaining the molecular thickness beneath his feet, the remainder forked to augmenting his tendons, ligaments and more specifically his twitch-fibers to amplify his speed greatly. Where he was once an Olympian runner, he was now an ungodly blur of speed. (Ascension activated +1 Ability: Air walking +3 Speed) He held out his hand and Misanthropy obediently flew around form behind him and placed itself in his hand. The fire ensued and Ouroboros this time needed to time himself perfectly. The bullets moved much slower, and so it was easier on him, but he was using a slightly weaker sword... subsequently his Spirit strikes would also be weaker. Where one strike would have destroyed a bullet now all three strikes would likely be required. He used his advanced processes and with the ability to carryout equally as fast as he processed, he had little difficulty destroying the bullets. It was too easy though. Generally when someone was able to so easily destroy and disperse energy that quickly Ouroboros was the one who followed it-

SHIT!" He snapped under his breath, turning and exhaling, allowing his cigarette to do it's job creating a massive smokescreen. A bullet piercing through his armor and boring into his skin, drawing blood and twisting. His eyes activated as the suit soaked up all energy influencing the matter that was stick inside his body, transmuting it into Ethereal energy. The smoke-screen held cover, but he wasn't sure for long. He activated his Ethereal channeling rods and took a step. With new inhuman speed Ouroboros was nearly instantly behind the exo suited woman The Paladin Armor already near healed over, but the wound within him still fresh. He held out a single finger and form it a Sphere of tearing Ethereal energy, which grew bigger with the distance traveled fired out at Vexus.

"You used one of my own tactics against me... I must say you only get more and more impressive." Ouroboros said. With a snap of the fingers in each hand, Misanthropy returned and in a shimmering heavenly light, reality itself warped once more, this time summoning forth a celestial looking blade known as The Imperium, a Blade known through legend as the very blade which struck down Death itself. The balde unleashed a celestial blue flame that mended over all of Ouroboros' wounds and relieved any fatigue the man may have had...not that using items caused much fatigue. "But the warm ups over Sweetheart." He stated, opening his eyes revealing a rather new look, and with his blades in hand he charged at Vexus, using his new speed, superior skill and mobility to compliment his powerful Kushala-Tatsu fighting style, unleashing an ungodly powerful barrage of spirit strikes. Between the Transmutation, the blades and Kushala-Tatsu this battle just kicked into second gear.

Elena grinned behind her mask seeing she had managed to land a hit on the confident man. He quickly released a smoke screen which temporarily obscured Vexus' view. With Technomatter around the area she used it to quickly disperse the smoke only to catch a glimpse of Robert vanishing. Her sensors were unable to follow him, but just by instinct she spun around and was met face to face with a ball of energy growing in size as it sped towards her. There was none of her Silver Sand close enough to defend her so she blocked by forming an 'X' with her arms and bringing her knees up. The impact was not as damaging as she had been expecting, but it was plenty powerful. She had been thrown back a bit in the air, but remained at altitude.
Vexus flipped up her visor as the man manifested yet another sword in his hands.
"Your tactic? Though it may not look it, I've been around for over a century my dear. Maybe after this I'll come at your for copyright infringement." she said with a chuckle.
Apparently now the man was going to get a little more serious as he revealed that his eyes had changed. Elena gave a quick nod and her visor slid back over her face. She put her two guns back away in the holsters she had hidden in her thigh area, her arms then proceeded to separate and Techomatter swirled around forming swords in all four arms. Simultaneously the matter was also repairing any scratch marks of any sort that the blast from just a moment ago may have caused. She switched the power of her suit to a close combat setting (-4DUR +4FS [Reflexes/Reaction Time] ) and activated her M.Tech Defense Discs creating a subtle outline around her person. Robert with his new and rather impressive speed ran head on at Vexus sending out multiple waves of energy similar to those he had performed earlier. A large mass of Technomatter roared up from behind Vexus as she too sped forward. She blocked against the waves of energy with any one of her four Techno-Swords, and what she couldn't defend against the free flowing Technomatter around her would.

It was bold heading straight in for Elena, but yet foolish all at the same time. The two of them collided the four swords going against the two. He was clearly more skilled that Vexus as far as swordsmanship, but with her heightened reflexes with the suit and the two extra arms it greatly helped. Not to mention the Technomatter following their every move protecting Vexus if she missed a block and launching attacks at random intervals. It had been quite some time since Vexus had truly had this much fun against an opponent. Robert was giving her a good time, and Elena would gladly return the favor.
When their swords collided Vexus had hers immediately snake around and hold onto his two swords, hopefully holding him in place. The Technomatter would not devour the swords at this moment, but instead begin to slither downwards towards the man's hands in order to better hold him still. Simultaneously with her other two hands the swords she held went to join the efforts of the other two, all he while she pulled back out her two M.Tech Guns and proceeded to fire at Mr. Soros from point blank range. Hopefully Vexus would succeed in blowing two golf ball sized holes in this man and would finally be able to continue on with her day.

.     She wanted to fight, that's fine they could fight. He had no qualms whatsoever with fighting this woman, it was the first time in a long time that someone had truly challenged him. While it hurt in the darkest regions of his cold blackened heart, he had to confess that even Sean was a lesser opponent. Though there were things one had to consider in such a battle like that. He regulated his breathing, keeping himself calm and steady, as he closed in he noted a wave of technomatter behind the woman. She sped forward, dealing with the several spirit-strikes that were propelled at her. Her suit split and divided into several arms, four to be precise. Each one with it's own little make-shift technoswords. She closed in the distance, the blades all clashed, however it was what came next that pleased Ouroboros. The woman's technomatter snaked onto him and latched on. It was rather interesting how she secured him. Her two now free arms moved. He already knew this tactic. She was planning to blow him in half with her gun, or at least completely ruin his insides. He showed no emotion, no inclination whatsoever as to what was going to happen... "I suppose in the end it was fought well..." He chuckled, time moving ever so slowly.

     Superior processing, superior observation and superior reflexes would be the key to his survival. They always had been. But how does that happen to one who is bound? His means of defending himself were thoroughly locked down and he was closed in to Vexus. Blades bound in serpants of silver-sand and bitten into the Paladin armor gauntlets... he was bound to Vexus, and to Ouroboros Vexus was bound. His eyes were fixated on the gun. For a moment perhaps it was as if his life flashed before his eyes. Everything had always moved so slow to the young Atterrius... the world was in slow motion all the time, and now was no different. He felt a gentle breeze blow between him and Vexus, feeling the chill as it sent a lone bead of sweat down the side of his face, just as slowly as the rest of time. Though his entire time he was holding off, holding back he had yet to realize until not the one simple truth that was within this fight. It was fun. It pressed him, the battle itself pressed upon him the desire to unleash his Ultima, to fight without restraint. But he knew all too well that fighting without restraint was not something that he could simply do. When he was unleashed there was no such thing as battle... there was only annihilation. Maybe that was the way this battle needed to end? Perhaps not... Only a few seconds had passed. The bullets fired out.

     But they went through him. In an instant, before anything could even truly be processed, Misanthropy and Imperium had phased through the technomatter that bound them and flew just behind Vexus, one aimed right for her back. In one fluid motion, Ouroboros had energized himself becoming completely intangible while spawning six large tendrils that encompassed around him, almost caging the woman in. He fell through as if he had still delivered the blow, and reality warped around his hand one last time as he came down, though the colors did not damage Vexus. But his hands stopped at the area over her right lung as Ethereal Soverignty took form,partially phased through her...right for the lung... and in that instant Ouroboros and the blade solidified. Ouroboros did not believe she had the means to react, and he armor would prove most useless form a weapon that took her on the inside out. He was more than fast enough to follow her so running was scarcely an option...

   "But all that aside I'll see you in Hell." He finished his earlier statement Quickly moving Ethereal Tendrils spawned form his back and three each wrapping around the extra arms, pulling at them to drag them aside slightly, if not tear them off completely. He was prepared for nearly anything, if the woman survived, if she could retaliate with the technomatter in the surrounding area. If Vexus were to "perish" as well he was well prepared for that as well. He did not intend on killing the woman here...nor did he intend on letting her die. Her success in this stage was instrumental to his own plans in development. The very blade which attempted to strike the woman down was the very blade which safeguarded her victory.
 
   Regardless of whatever happened...the battle was of no significance. It was the war which had only just begun.

Victory as so close, literally within her grasp and it all fell apart just as fast as she had put it together. Her grip on the swords failed, her attack failed and passed right through the man. In the same instant tendrils formed from the man's back, identical to the ones she had dealt with during her attack on Chicago. Immediately there was a power shift in her suit(-4FS +2ABI +2SPD) and she literally vanished right before Mr.Soros' eyes. Elena had converted her entire being Technomatter and was temporarily scattered about in the air. She took a moment to assess exactly what had happened, yes she had been able to appropriately react but was not sure what exactly had been avoided. Where she stood previously the sword she had destroyed earlier was right through where her lung would be. How this man was capable of manifesting a sword through another being was perplexing even to her and a new cation had been added to the conflict. As she floated through the air, the large amount of Technomatter sat still on the ground below.

Technomatter began to swirl around on top of the White House, quickly it began to take the shape of Vexus in her suit eventually solidifying. There was nothing to be said at this point. The man was more powerful than he let on, and it seemed like his power only continued. She raised her arms up and her shimmering silver matter came to her and effortlessly rose up next to her. Elena then slowly pointed both her hands towards Robert, from all ten of her fingers small missiles were fired off and at the same time small streams of Technomatter shot forward as well weaving in an out of the trajectory of the explosives. All ten rushed towards her target, four of them diverged dramatically while the other six continued on for impact. The Matter sped ahead of the missiles and past Robert before it curved back to attack him from that angle. The other four missiles had split again and now two of them where going to strike from above and the other two from underneath. As an added precaution more of her Technomatter rushed to the scene to cover any other direction that he might think of trying to escape.

With what this man had demonstrated before she did not think that this would cause too much of a problem, but she was watching carefully to further observe any other abilities which may be displayed. Unfortunately she limited on the time she could utilize her suit and with her using it to its maximum capacity Elena did not have much time left. She may be able to get one more attack in, and after that she will have to rely solely on her Technomatter. Be though as it may it would slightly be a relief since manipulating the Technomatter so precisely on top of using her suit to it's full potential was putting a very large mental strain on her. At least with the suit gone she would be able to focus just on manipulating the Matter. In other news, where the hell was her air lift!?

"The ability to temporarily consume yourself with technomatter and molecularly reassemble untouched. Exactly as I suspected." Ouroboros said with a little hum, looking to the woman who had reappeared. The technomatter seemed to be shifting to attack him from angles. Their movements were so easy to trace...so incredibly clear... yes somehow the woman continued to avoid him. This was as if they were both greased pigs trying to catch one and other. The question was who would mess up first. This game was cute...but it had finally run it's course. He was sick and tired of the games. "Silus forgive me." He muttered to himself. The Woman had truly been persistent. He sighed and closed his eyes. He opened them again. A small pulse of energy left his being, and within a moment a large gust of wind picked up before Ouroboros. A large sphere began pulling with vast strength, sucking up loose technomatter like a vortex of terror, and even greatly slowing the bombs incoming to a degree. The Singularity shot up to the heavens and swirled with an endless hunger, pulling everything and anything it could into the abyss it created, the rift. The Celestial Singularity began removing all things and transporting it far off, never to be called upon again, even incoming air-support if they ventured too close.

The Singularity wouldn't be enough either however, and so he also accessed his telekinetic capabilities and sent out a radial kinetic shockwave from his person. He knew this was going to hurt, but he knew he was more than capable of surviving such damages. With his impressive reflexes he moved and with the help of Sovereignty and Kushala-tatsu, he was able to protect his immediate person, slashing out at the technomatter and the bombs. Activating his inner powers, he projected the perfect illusion that he had vanished as the Ethereal tendrils formed yet another protective coating aroun himself. He survived immediate damage, but the aftermath was devastating. The explosions were enough o tear away the armor, scalding him like a lobster and branding him with third degree burns on his right arm, and shrapnel in his left arm. Becoming completely cloaked to the senses. He growled in pain as he shifted. In truth, he very well could have avoided all of that bullshit and simply detonated the bombs as she shot them out and left her to deal with the several explosions. Though it was his damnable pride that bid him refuse to transcend. With himself masked the commanded Misanthropy to fly out, and he wrapped his hand on the hilt, it propelled him through the air and Misanthropy and Sovereignty were stuck within the top of the white-house by Vexus, the blade literally smoking, while Misanthropy made a cling. The organic Gemini material seemed to make the blades wail slightly as Ouroboros had let go of them, still remaining cloaked form the senses to all as he himself stood upon the White House. He looked rather worse for wear, though his armor began to quickly heal over. While he looked worse for wear beneath the suit, none could possibly hope to see the damages. He let his breathe hiss out, knowing he was safe from even the most superhuman of senses. He looked back to where he had been before using Misanthropy as a rescue. He noticed that a large chunk of the armor fell to the ground and was immediately shredded and devoured into the technomatter like a bloody steak to a horde of piranha's.

The Singularity successfully began clearing area on the ground, as it endlessly sucked up anything and everything, His telekinesis disempowered and he stood waiting. If the woman was expecting to go anywhere...she was sorely mistaken. The Air...teleportation...it was all things he had planned to counter... and if it didn't come soon he could simply reveal himself and continue the fight. His first order of business would be using the transmutation power to take the residual technomatter form the wounds and transform it into Ethereal energy to use.

Vexus felt the pulse of energy that come from the man's body. An orb appeared in the sky and began to drag everything upwards, absolutely ignoring any laws of physics. Thankfully her missiles were moving at such a speed that they were not too heavily affected by the sphere. He was, however, able to heavily dampen the impact. Vexus watched the explosion closely, but nothing came of it. She didn't see a body, and nothing came up on her sensors. Elena was positive that he was using the same technique he had initially used to sneak up on her. Waisting no time, she hoped down off of the White House and began to rush over to her cocooned prisoners. They were the real reason that she was here and she did not plan on letting them perish.
As she ran through the White House grounds, she weaved and dodged as random chunks of earth began to dislodge and get sucked up into the singularity. She had given up on trying to rescue her Technomatter, it was a waste of her effort anyways. As Elena sprinted along, the very earth beneath her feet lifted off and she was suddenly being brought up to the void. Instinctively she threw herself off the floating rock, but since she had moved so much closer to the singularity she was being drawn in too. Vexus had nothing to convert to Technomatter, and at this rate she would be be on the event horizon with absolutely no chance of survival. She cursed under her breath as her suit of armor dematerialized and a thin stream of the silver matter rocketed to the ground and anchored itself into the earth. Vexus held onto one end of it as it began to pull her back down to safety. Simultaneously the Techonmatter was multiplying in the ground to increase the strength of the line and to prevent it from lifting up and being dragged into this void. Eventually she made it to the ground and ran towards the Cabinet members who's technomatter prisons had locked themselves down to the ground.

Vexus pulled out a communicator of sorts from inside her dress and quickly dialed a number. Meanwhile her Techomatter was hard at work keeping her and everyone else on the ground.
"This is Vexus. The opposing forces have produced a singularity similar to that of a black hole. You are going to have to retreat until I call you again and give you the all clear..."
This was annoying to say the least, and with her suit gone and no way of finding this man she needed to be on guard. Not to mention she needed to find another way out. God knows if her air lift wasn't already too close, might already be too late for them. Vexus figured she might be able to repair one of the choppers, but she would need to do so with out Mr.Soros noticing. With her Technomatter underground, she had some of it snake through to one of the downed helicopters. The silver sand like material not only helped to anchor to the ground but began to run itself all over the damaged parts of the chopper. It would take some time to properly repair without being hands on, but it would be a backup just in case. In the mean time, Elena was just going to do her best to keep planted on the ground and hopefully just wait out this large scale attack.
