The Legacy

Personality: Freya has a unpredictable personality. So unpredictable, in fact, that psychics refuse to give her a reading. Perhaps it is a undiagnosed medical condition, who knows? She is a master manipulator who uses her power to circumvent money and power and others peoples' emotions. Cunning would also describe her.

History: Freya grew up in a very privaleged family. She was the only child to Donna and James Malone. Her father was an incredible scientist who worked for the government and her mother was a doctor. Before she was born, her father was working for the government on metahuman species. Over time he grew greedy, though, and wanted to engineer a way to gain powers of his own through DNA manipulation of species the government captured or killed. He was driven with the thought of how much good he could do for his wife and child and for the world in general if he was gifted with powers to compliment his immense intelligence. It didn't work though. His body, for whatever reason, would not take to any of his attempts. At times he would get sick from his experiments, and one time he almost died because of it. The government eventually caught onto his plans and banned him from the scientific community, but not before he tried one last experiment. This was done on his newly born baby girl, Freya.

In the most simple terms possible, he had taken DNA samples from a plethora of metahmans and consolidated them, then injected them into her. She was born, she grew up, nothing ever manifested. During this time he grew depressed and eventually committed suicide not long before her 18th birthday. In his suicide note he outlined his dismay over being the sole one responsible for driving them from rich and privileged into poverty and his failure as a scientist to make the world a better place. During her senior year of high school, Freya had bought her first car, paying it down with crappy jobs here and there. But it was a beat up old thing that needed work. Her uncle was a mechanic and offered to fix it, and once he was under the car looking it over the jack lost its hold and the car fell on him, trapping him under it. Freya was there when it happened and quickly sprung into action, summoning help from her phone while grabbing on him and trying to pull him free. She prayed next, asking a God she didn't believe in to give her uncle tremendous strength to survive. Suddenly, her uncle felt a rush of energy and strength through his tormented body and he flung the car off of himself, sending it end over end into the street. Help came and her uncle survived.

Thinking her actions were not that of a blessing from God, Freya began to experiment on her pets. She held her dog and gave him flight, though it did kill him because he was too high in the air when the power left him. From there she experimented on close friends and animals until she had a good idea of what it was she had. Word soon spread from friend to friend, then before she knew it she was getting offered money and favors for a "quick power fix". She used all of this to her advantage, giving certain people powers in exchange for lessons in fighting arts, gun marksmanship, and other things. The world was heading to crap and she knew she'd have to defend herself at all cost. She had no powers to give herself, only others, so she prepared the best way she could by doing this. Although she could have easily went to college and graduated, she chose not to, because she knew the world she was heading into in her adult years would be one that would not cater to the educated, only the ones who could survive. Currently she works as a waitress at a trendy little restaurant. It's her side job, something to keep her under the radar.

The Powers

Power 1: Power Bestow: Freya has the ability to give a super power to anyone she wants, human or meta human, however these abilities are only temporary. The duration of these powers can be short or long depending on the person receiving them. She can only give these powers by touch. She can not give multiple super powers though, only one.

You cannot start off with a stat any higher than 8. As for the power itself, it will work like this. For each point spent you can add 1 point to their stats. Also the stats cannot exceed 8 unless your ability is at least 9.

I unfortunately can't provide an app to use as a reference since it's a power that's rarely been used. Basically if you were to have your character have 8 points in the power, and used that power on a character with a grid like this: INT 2, STR, 2 SPD 2, DUR 2, FS 2. Pretty much a normal person's grid. With those 8 points you can increase their strength, speed and durability however you'd like so long as none of them exceed 8, or give them an ability power of whatever.
Strength, speed, durability and ability are the only stats that can be boosted.

Thanks. I went to one of the approved characters and basically used his stats but took away from some of it where his was stronger than mine. Still equals 30 so it should be good now.

Also the first point in wealth is free. You can have either 0 or 1. It's optional. Just add that in and this is all set.
