After several months of scouring the globe for the grandest morsels, studying every book he can find and giving charity where it is due Tengri has finally decided to return to the field. Project HOPE (his non-profit organisation) has been sending relief packages and medical aid to the victims in Somalia but their efforts are greatly outnumbered by the ruthless assaults by the neighbouring warlords. Strife, disease and violence consume the charred earth and the noodle loving shaman is in desperate need of some help with the evacuation and protection of innocents.

But there is something else...

Lab results from water testing of a shared waterhole revealed traces of a mysterious substance. As of yet, no one can pinpoint whether its origins are alien, magical or some unnatural phenomena. One thing is for certain though, whatever is in the water is giving it's victims unnatural strength...and rage.

So yes! Tengri's first proper thread! I'm going to leave the rest of the plot a mystery and up to whoever joins. It would be preferable if the joining characters (regardless of alignment) have a believable reason for being in Africa, especially in a country ravaged by civil war. Maybe they're old friend's with Tengri, or doing some relief work of their own...possibly a villain wanting to exploit the peculiar waterhole. Anyways, put down some ideas and I'll begin this thread in the near future...after all my Uni is complete!

If you're interested, I have Shi Ryurou, who would take a break from traveling the world to purge evil, to be a hero attempting to figure out what was wrong and putting an end to whatever evil was causing this corruption from spreading to the people. He would also be attempting to do little things to try and improve the way of life and "deal with" some of the evil men and women who are making life difficult on the innocent.

I also have my bad guy, Ouroboros who would be more than likely to show up in a country like this in order to further his own goals. If you don't have an idea for what is in fact in the water he also supplies a pretty good explanation for that too, or if you do have a clue I could just have him show up to make things worse Razz

Either way I'd be down for it if you'd have me.

Agent Ellie Wong is there for U.S. Interests. Also, Somalia in itself is rife with piracy and its own problems without even considering its neighbors.
