Kyle could have turned out to be a very different person if it wasn't for his unfortunate upbringing. As Kyle grew up from a young age in the Orphanage he was placed in as a baby, he seemed full of life and humour, but as he was continuously bullied for his strange eye colour and hair by the other children he was forced to live with, he grew quiet and shy and tended not to talk about himself or instigate any conversations he did not want to be a part of. Since he joined the Crime Syndicate, he felt like he was wanted, a feeling that he had never had before, this caused him to come out of his shell more and become more social. As he made new friends in the Syndicate and was praised for the fine work that he did, he was growing into a good young man, as good as a thief can get anyway. He is still not fully comfortable talking about himself to strangers, but he was becoming better to talk to.
History:
Kyle was an orphan, he never knew any of his family members, if he had more than just parents that is, he only knew his name from the piece of paper that was stapled to his shirt that he was found wearing on the front door of the local Orphanage many years ago. Kyle has a strange appearance to say the least, he was born with some kind of abnormality that caused his eyes to be red instead of any other colours, he was also left with clear white hair, making him stick out from the rest of the orphans. His odd appearance caused him to be shunned by most families when they came to pick up a child, it also caused him some issues with the rest of the children that he had to live with, he was bullied regularly because of his looks, causing him to become slightly shy and quiet which made more parents shun him.

This constant bullying that he faced caused him to spend more time out of the orphanage than in it, day after day he would walk the same path, past shops filled with items that he did not have enough money to buy, he would regularly try to steal some of the items, but his face was seen regularly so the shopkeepers knew to watch out for him. The part of Chicago that he lived in was shady, meaning that a lot of crime would happen all around him, some that could be seen, and some crimes that were much more subtle. Kyle would watch people be pickpocket'd all of the time, after watching closely and learning all of the techniques, Kyle tried it out for himself and he was surprisingly successful, he finally had a means of income, even when it was not exactly legal. Kyle grew up doing these things, he was still a part of the orphanage and he would face even worse bullying when he would return home with something expensive, making the rest of the orphans jealous, but Kyle looked past it because he had a career now, more than the other kids had, one of his favorite items that he brought was his coat, it was made of a leather type material with a high collar, he would regularly have it popped up to hide his face in case someone got a good look at him.

On one rainy day Kyle's life would change, he carried out a regular pickpocket on someone who looked like they had a lot of money, they had $200 in their wallet to be exact, he thought he got away with it because it was one of the smoothest lifts that he had ever done, his confidence was shaken however when his collar was yanked from an alleyway by the same man he had taken the wallet from. Kyle was expecting a beating, he was fairly good at taken them now, but the stranger simply snatched his wallet back and gave Kyle a card, a business card that would send Kyle to a group known as the Crime Syndicate. After a skeptical visit, Kyle was brought on board, he was told to continue doing what he was doing, but give the Syndicate half of the money that he would take in every day. Kyle seemed to be on par with everyone else in the Syndicate, he didn't seem to be anything special until he did a hit that he liked to call "The Big One".

Kyle was given word that a van transporting gold bars would be moving between two banks, he was surprised the Syndicate had not already known about this, but Kyle decided to hit it to differentiate himself from the others. He followed the van until it stopped at a gas station, one guard was filling up the truck whilst the other was buying supplies for the two in store, Kyle walked by the guard by the truck and slipped the keys off of his belt without him realizing, he opened the back of the truck quietly and slipped one bar into his back, it was surprisingly heavy. He shut the door and placed the keys back on the guards belt before leaving the scene without being caught. Kyle was ecstatic the entire trip to the Syndicate tower, he walked in to the lobby and approached the receptionist and slammed the brick of gold onto the desk, the receptionist was shocked at what she was looking at until she picked up the phone and called the leader of the Syndicate, a man that Kyle had never heard or seen before, Phantom.

The pair met a few hours after, Kyle was praised for his efforts and was told he was doing a terrific job and deserved something more. Phantom asked him if he wanted to be given a serum that will make him even more powerful, Kyle was 19 at this point and was extremely curious to what Phantom actually meant, but he agreed anyway. Kyle was injected with a serum, it made him woozy and ill and he was out of action for a few days, when he was walking and talking again, he completely forgot who the Phantom was and questioned whether he even existed, as far as he knew it was Number 1 who gave him the serum that could make him walk and move through solid objects, an extremely helpful power for a thief.

Intangibility: Kyle has the ability to walk/move through solid objects, allowing him to pass through solid walls, he had yet to find a wall that he has been unable to pass through yet.

Serum Side Effects: The serum that Kyle was injected with to make him Intangible has had some side effects on him, it also made him stronger, faster and tougher than the average person, this has given him the opportunity to improve his dirty fighting technique to make him a tough competitor in a fight.
