Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Re: Welcome To the Abyss
A woman and her rituals. Zell had little time or inclination to ask about what she was doing. In the end it was irrelevant. She could strip down to a bikini and do the worm on molten lava and Zell wouldn’t give her a second thought. He had finished constructing the device, stepping back and nodding to the other young man, who introduced himself as Vega.
”On the second Hour they looked at what they had made…and it was good….Vega, a pleasure to meet you. Zell Atterrius.” Zell said without hesitation, offering his hand. He no longer cared if anyone was able to figure out he was the billionaire genius child. That was the old him. The one foolish enough to believe he had a future, a life to live. He would have given anything to be normal, but in the end he lost it all for being abnormal. He turned to the woman, and sighed. ”In regards to not destroying the church I will only say this… We can uphold this building’s integrity and die as foolish martyrs, or we can use what God have provided and live to praise him another day…” Zell said, slightly irritated by the woman.
Zell walked out towards the front doors of the church. He observed the happenings, seeing a man, not too old, but not as young as him. Zell looked back in the church for a second. He closed his eyes and sighed. He did all he could for the Civilians…he did all he WOULD do for now. Sean was still here, and Zell wanted to make sure he got the chance to show off his little toys to the titan. Zell’s eyes felt heavy, they were burdened, and he had no intentions of opening them. He could have sworn he had fallen asleep standing up. Instead while he slept, a sudden spark of ethereal energy kindled inside him. With a calming sigh, his eyes opened and a predatory glow was shown from the emerald orbs. ”I’ll be back…don’t have too much fun now.” Ouroboros said, going out of his way to make his voice sound exactly like Zell’s. He walked out into the open air, and began walking towards a familiar energy. He had almost instantly located Sean, but now the issue had become getting the attention of the Titan.
Finding the Titan was no small task, but even greater a task was avoiding the incoming Demons that would have flocked to him, likely attempting to end him and prematurely celebrate. He kept his arms crossed, as he always did and he wore that smug grin, as he always had. He knew that the young Titan could sense him, it would have been nigh impossible for him to not of, then again…with all of the events going on Ouro could never be sure.
”Oh where, oh where has my little titan gone?” He mused to himself with a relaxed sigh. Ouroboros looked back to the church. Zell’s fortifications were impressive, able to use the copper to enhance the projection of the barrier and increase the size of the blades. Sadly, it was all in vain. The Demons were beyond that, or at least Ouro was secretly hoping. The human race was a scourge upon the world, a flame to be bloodied out. From the sky dropped down The Ravenheart, Lourishna…the one that Ouro commanded to lead Sean to him. The bird would begin circling overhead, saying Seans name until he got his attention, in case the energy hadn’t. Ouro turned and saw Sean, not too far away.
”Well…Look who it is.” Ouro mused as he let a small smile creep on his face.

Re: Welcome To the Abyss
Standing alone in the parking lot of a convenient store, not too far away from the more than popular Zebulon church, was Tyuki Gold. Clutching her guitar case and overly sized purse, she turned and stepped inside of the store. There was no cashier, no one. She saw a dim sign that read 'Restroom' and chose the small area as her space for changing. Snapping open the bulky case, she carefully took out her guitar and lifted the compartment that was hidden underneath of it. Just enough room was inside to hide her power suit and mask.
Stripping down out of her rebellious attire, she washed her face and cleaned off any makeup she was wearing. Brushing her hair back, she slid on her mask, and pulled on her power suit. The black and gold material was skin tight from the base of her neck, all the way to her toes. It stretched, so there was no zipper. The material was made to breathe, and fit to her body like a second skin. Two modified slits were made in the back, near invisible to the naked eye. Room for her wings. Sighing, she closed up her guitar case, and locked the bathroom door on her way out. Safe keeping. She could easily bust the door down.
Stepping out of the store, she found herself alone, still. Looking out the poster cluttered windows, she saw inky masses stalking toward the church. They were gathering there, as if something was drawing them there. Then again, the creatures were virtually everywhere. Closing her eyes, she opened them to reveal bright white in place of her emerald green. Her hair began to pale, even hiding the pink tips that she had dyed recently.
"I guess I know what I'm supposed to do..."
She opened the door and stepped out, her eyes catching sight of someone running toward the church. Toward the church? Why would they be running toward the church?
She had to find out. Wings spread out behind of her, white feathers ruffling as she rose into the air. With a single pump, she was sent gliding over the beasts and toward the church. It seemed the most popular spot at this moment. She was right.
The beasts had swarmed someone in the graveyard, and they looked as if they needed help. Managing the find the courage in her, she dove down and landed next to the person. Being too wrapped up in the present circumstances, she had no chance to notice who the person was. Her wings snapped open and she spun knocking back the beasts coming for her. Kicks, punches, and aerial assaults also sent the creatures back. Her strength alone was forcing them down. With her chest heaving slightly, and a pile of creatures laying around of her and the stranger, she finally took a moment to talk.
"I'm here to help you... Hermione?" raising a brow, though hidden behind snow white hair, Tyuki was confused.
"How and when did you get here?"

Re: Welcome To the Abyss
He was getting used to seeing through this fog. The lens visor was helping. Now he could fully see what was happening in the immediate vicinity and everywhere else. It was like an invasion. Better yet, it was one. Creatures were coming from the fog and laying waste to everything around them. The church that this ensemble were located at was surrounded. The mysterious cloud hung overhead and it was sending forth destruction upon this town. This was a suspenseful turn of events on this once fair day. Guess it was a battle against cloud.....born.......monsters. Yeah, that was a fitting term for these things. What else could you call them? Whatever they were to be called, this Toccoa place was in great danger. Forcewave could just go inside the church in order to seek shelter, not that he felt it would do any good though. The defenses that were being set up would probably not last forever. He was not even sure they were fully set-up yet, and the whatever they were to be known as were quickly approaching. Scratch that last thought. They were here and attacking. Forcewave dashed forward and started fighting them off. Strike at one to push it away, knock another to the ground and then become surrounded by a small horde of them. The usual stuff that comes from fighting a group of enemies by yourself. Their attention was becoming focused on him, but they still kept marching forward on their path of destruction. The church was still under attack as well. The people inside seemed to be managing to take care of themselves. It would explain why the place had not collapsed yet from all the creatures onsetting it.
Managing to deal with the nearest horde he fell back to the church itself. He saw somebody else that was covered in armor leaving it. He was thinking he recognized them as he saw another person fly past and around the church to the nearby graveyard. A girl with wings that also looked familiar. How strange was that? Forcewave entered through the doors and looked around. He saw nobody and thus walked through the church towards the graveyard. On his way there he found somebody. "Oh, hey there. How goes it?" he asked ridiculously. The grasping effect of the current situation was still present however. He just couldn't think of what to say. Looking through the window to the graveyard he could see who was in there. Recognizing the winged girl as Tyuki and not knowing who the other woman was made him feel as if he should join them instead.Dayum, Tyuki is so fly, or could fly. Those wings were more than just an effect. It felt more worthwhile than just hanging out in here. This place was safe. Safety wasn't what he was looking for. Protecting the town was what was important to him. He went back outside and fought his way over to them to help them both out. He had no idea if they even needed his help, but it came anyways. "Either of you have any idea what's causing this?" he asked of either of them kind of hoping somebody would know. The woman whom he did not know was performing a ritual of some kind. Perhaps it would get rid of all these things. That strange cloud too since it was the clear source of their existences. A large amount of electricity was brought forth and it was used to erect a barrier around them all. It was some kind of immediate additional defense from all these creatures coming from the cloud at least.

Re: Welcome To the Abyss
What once stood as a lively grove of trees growing in peace off of the shoulder of 123 succumbed to whatever evil permeated from this unholy arrival the small hamlet incurred upon itself. All traces of life began to wither away under the foot of the approaching formation. With the numbers pouring out of the forest, this could be no random encounter of monsters from a nearby bog; only an orchestrated effort could deliver this many bodies and direct them against a single target. Any attempt to stop this encroachment would depend on one moment building upon the next.
Lending her a hand in claiming the moment came a familiar face from the past- or extradimensional timespace wormhole to split hairs, which seemed like something the superpowered girl might be able to do against these bulbous creatures. After the quick dismissal of creatures, Tyuki approached Ame and ran her fingers down the figurative chalkboard by calling her 'Hermoine', the name her partner so nonchalantly used to get around remembering her name. Hoping the incident of her nickname stayed as localized as possible, Ame lifted the mask around Tyuki's face to make sure name stayed with the same entity. "Tyuki."
Before Ame could conjure up a conversation, a man of approached her with a similar question. Perhaps the hat and blazer gave Ame away as some kind of paranormal concierge. "When I got here there was one. Then, there were a lot more. Now we've taken care of..." The mist began to wave in an unnatural manner. "Securing the path for more to come." Standing firm atop the lifted grave, Ame readied her divining rods to attempt some level of connection with the supernatural entities spilling over into this world. In the broad sense of time, these rods were not worth carrying as one could clearly see the direction of the pouring of this invasion, but she still needed to close in on the exact location these devils came from.
"Tyuki, do what you just did again. Guyman, help me get into the forest full of these demon things. If we can find where they are coming from, maybe we can close it off or Tyuki can fall into another extradimensional rift. You're fine from the last time that happened right?" It stood miles in the distance from the realm of good plans, but it seemed to come with a simple set of instructions. Hoping down from the grave and moving towards the onslaught of the demon horde, Ame could feel the pulsations driving her farther into the throes of madness. "Drive Darkness Back!" She screamed her incantation to drive a wedge between the incoming demons around her. They announced their disdain with malice for the magician, but she remained untouched as she moved more boldly towards the dead forest.

Re: Welcome To the Abyss
Sean felt the Nether thick within the air, and his body trembled for a moment, though what the feeling was exactly he could not figure out. Now that he thought about it, Sean had no idea why he was even here. The source of that strange life energy was not here, neither was the rather fetching shell that it resided within. His tattered sneakers sounded hollow against the concrete, his freshly stolen graphic tee seeming to hug his frame. 'What is this?” Sean muttered feeling two large sources of Nether seem to reveal themselves amongst a mist that had slowly spread itself out amongst this backwater town.
That was when he felt it, a small glimmer of life among the death, and it was something that caused his heart to literally skip a beat. No really, his heart stopped, and that’s not a good thing. For a moment he paused, body seeming to lock up. A raven seemed to caw his name repeatedly, over and over again...wait a raven was calling his name. It also looked frighteningly familiar, being that Sean had no seen many ravens within his life, and what he did see were not giant ones. Without his commanding it, Nether had begun to form what seemed like an aura from Sean's body, letting off a spark.
Th source was close, but where in the hell was it? Yet he could feel it, the hunger, and with it came pain. Nether coalesced into a tendril, and ripped through the wall of the nearest building, a white house. Its wall mattered little, and from it came what appeared to be a young girl, perhaps barely even nine. She screamed pitifully, fighting her fate as all humans did. The Nether within the air had mingled too much with the oxygen, and it was diluted, allowing him nothing that would fight away the fits. She looked at him with unbridled fear, something within her eyes loathed the monster before her, yet Sean did not look like a monster. In an instant he silenced her struggled, blood splattering across his face, and shirt.
A great sigh seemed to rush along with the wind, as a black mist steam rose from her body, floating around Sean as he breathed it in. His body felt slightly stronger, and the fits that had only seconds ago risen had fallen back. For now, he would not have to worry about them. That was when he noticed a familiar figure, someone that he had last seen when a certain woman was killed a week or two ago, but Sean felt it, the interloper that so enjoyed ruining their meetings wasn't there. He couldn't help but smirk wickedly, letting the corpse fall unmourned, that being until the mortals came to weep over their dead.
And the bizzare creatures continued their march upon the church, as if they held a singular purpose. No matter how many were killed, they would continue to advance, though now they began to show their more deadly of traits, which was what seemed to be a deadly acid shot from their mouths. It ate through the concrete road with absolute ease, and left deep holes where it landed. They also begun to make unearthly howling noises, guttural still but loud. The largest would only stay behind, its intelligent eyes watching

Re: Welcome To the Abyss
The Eternal Youth shook Zell's hand, and didn't bother to correct him aloud. It was Vaga, with two "a"s. Vega was a character from that videogame the boy was never able to play. It was too high a rating for the boy to play it, since he always looked 12. It was crap like this that made the boy wonder why ANYONE would ever think about being young forever. It was HIGHLY overrated.
Still, the person in front of him - another boy by the looks of him - was preparing for some serious assault on the church. Vaga followed him outside... and immediately realized what had Zell worried. Creatures, things that normal people would call Demons, were gathering on the church. On the plus side, other creatures had also begun gathering around the church. Things normal people would call Heroes. Vaga looked at Zell (or Ouro, as he didn't know was the case). "What you did back there... will it hold against these things?" He waited for an answer as the demons got closer. Vaga noticed the other group of heroes breaking off and heading into the forest.
"Wait! Do you know what's going on? Where are you going?" Too much was happening at once. Who were all these people? Where were they coming from? Was the church really safe now? One of the demons got closer, caustic looking ooze dribbling from the sharpened maw. Vaga juked left, spinning right. He landed a punch on the creature's chin, and whispered "Piuqe" to his hand. The Falcon's Talons, his trademark blades, suddenly appeared into existence, spearing the demon's cranium like a fish on a spear. Vaga avoided letting the beastly corpse land on him, and risked a glance at the ground. The patches hit by the Demon's spittle had left scorch marks that burned away the grass. Whatever hell-hole these things had crawled from was a lot nastier than Vaga was comfortable with. The boy withdrew his blade, and ducked as another Demon swiped at him. Vaga took its leg off at the knee, using his blades to slam the creature to the ground. They started making strange noises, and Vaga winced. He didn't know what was spawning evil on this scale, but it needed to be stopped soon. Were the others really planning on making it through this hellish fog? Would Zell's impromptu defenses hold up to the sheer evil raining down on the Church? Were other survivors on their way here? Vaga quickly finished off another demon as he waited for answers to the ever-increasing number of questions.

Vaga quickly finished off another demon as he waited for answers to the ever-increasing number of questions.

Re: Welcome To the Abyss
The demons approached the church, and as expected the Ethereal shields activated, protecting the area from harm. The Acid could do nothing as the Shield was generated and persisted. Almost as if an automated response, There were Three massive Ethereal energy swords that spiraled out and around the church. One they reached a certain height in the air they froze. There was a sudden, violent movement as the blade tips pointed to the densest areas of Demons. They were pouring out in masses. Each sword shot into the ground, illuminating it with a pale yellow-green light which disintegrated multiples of dozens of demons with energy. The blades racked up an impressive number of kills, however it was clear that this offensive was not perfect, because where hundreds of demons fell, others simply took their place. Zell had done his part…for now. By the end of this battle, he will have done so much more than protect a shabby church.
However, it was Ouroboros who was capitalizing on this opportunity to further his current agenda. Zell planned on saving lives and ending one…one that was of importance to the Perfect Being. Sean was in danger, and while Ouro had the utmost faith and confidence of his favorite ‘Man’ he felt as though Zell posed a threat. While Ouroboros was closer than ever to the full birthing of his existence, this means Zell was ever closer to him, even so much as gaining small ‘powers’ that were at one time only able to be used by Ouroboros himself. This was also only as small part of the problem, the greatest trait that made Zell a threat was the simple fact of what he’s experienced. Zell had lost his mother, his father, his beloved, he recently lost his brother, and he was even losing his life. Why was Zell dangerous? Because he had lost everything…he had nothing…and there is nothing more dangerous than a man with nothing to lose.
Ouroboros watched as the demons invaded the area, as the acid failed due to the ethereal shields Zell had put in place not long before. Ouro scowled and sighed. It was a pity. That know it all magic bitch would have been much better off as a corpse. Instead Ouroboros approached Sean with his arms crossed over his chest. He watched as the crimson liquid splattered across his face. Ouro looked at him a cold, statue look. He walked closer still, making his displeasure quite apparent.
”I start to think about keeping you around and then while I’m gone you run off and throw a party?” Ouro asked. He couldn’t keep a straight face any longer he wasn’t two feet away from Sean and a gleeful smile crept up on him. He looked up and down Sean with shifting eyes, as if examining him for the first time all over again. He finally let his glowing emerald eyes lock onto Sean’s silver pools and he chuckled. ”Damn boy…you know how to raise the stakes.” Ouro said he still searched Seans face for a reaction. He noted the streak of blood on his cheek.”You’ve got something there… Ouro wiped the blood off with a gloved thumb, placing the thumb in his moth to clean the glove and savor the blood of mortality. He ran a hand down Sean’s arm and walked past him a little, taking his preferred posture of straight back, shoulders back, chest out and crossed arms.

Re: Welcome To the Abyss
Wrenching her hand up hastily, she snapping her mask back into place, hopefully before the guy had shown up. The guy being Forcewave! She had met him before, a couple times, in fact. If they had met up any more, she would assume he was stalking her or something. But, that was just her paranoid self thinking of things to stroke her ego. In reality, no one would likely stalk Tyuki. Not even her number one fan. They're all too afraid of Gwharr eating them. Which is good, I guess.
Laughing nervously, she cleared her throat and made sure to keep her eyes that bright white, her hair matching. "Tyuki? Who's that? I'm Eclipse!" she said, boasting with her chest sticking out. Her ego was deflated, however, as Amethyst started to speak on about the incoming creatures. The mist was thick, but as they came, it parted to show Tyuki how many there were.
Too many.
Swallowing her nerves, she looked over to Ame for guidance. "I should put you on the roof-- Oh!" she said, just as three ethereal looking swords spanned out and put some form of barrier around of the church and half of the cemetery. The half they weren't standing in, unfortunately.
But, even as such, she would have to protect Ame and Forcewave.
"All right! I can do it," she said, confidence swelling up in her chest again.
The confidence was masked with false anger at Ame's other comment.
"Sure, I'm fine but I am never doing that again. Let's see you spend some time in an inter-dimensional time-space rift!"
Rolling her eyes, she dove into action. A kick, a punch, and a spin here and there. She was downing creatures left, and right. The acidic saliva, however, was putting a bit of a drain on her. Keeping her healing field active was also draining her. Sighing, she let the powers fade and would just have to deal with touching Ame on the arm or something if she needed a heal.
"Hiiii-yah!" she cried, using her wings to fly up and slam down onto one of the monsters coming for her.
The acid was eating away at her attire, but only a tiny bit. It would hold up, it was built tough. Just like Tyuki. Hunkering down, she spun again, her wings springing open to send a few of the creatures backward. They catapulted into their allies, sending a messy pile to the ground.
"High score!" she said, bouncing from foot to foot.
"Forcewave! That is your name, right?" she called, holding out her hand.
"Let's show these things who's boss!" the hand then clenched into a fist and she punched another in the jaw.
"I'm taking a look from above!" Having downed too many to count, she flew up into the air to take a glance from a different angle. The sun was gone now, and the mist was too thick to see anything. She would have to return to the ground below. But, there was another person fighting his way through the demonic creatures. He looked like a little kid! Diving down, she landed and sent a swift kick into an oncoming demon that was behind of him.
"You look like you needed help, kiddo," she said, her wings ruffling as a smile stole her features.
She'd have to partner with Vaga and lead him to group with Amethyst and Forcewave. She hoped the other two were all right at the cemetery without her.

Re: Welcome To the Abyss
"Help you get where?" he asked the woman all confused and the like. Did he hear her right? She was going directly into the forest that so many of these things were coming from. That's certainly brave. She also wanted his help in doing that. Well going alone was definitely not a good idea. He wanted to stay out in the open more though. More room to maneuver and see around you and all that. Ugh, he did not want to go to the forest. Still, she clearly knew what she was doing and so, when the time came, he would follow her."Yeah, sure. I got you covered."
Wait, what? She got what now? Was he having hearing problems or something all of a sudden. Forcewave was utterly lost at this point. Did she just say that Tyuki fell into an extra-dimensional rift? What the hell were they even? These two definitely knew each other. The conversation going on here was quite casual for all this danger they were in. Oh, never mind. For the time being it was just fighting off the horde.
Forcewave did this, and that, and fought off whatever approached. The horde attacked in inconsistent numbers. Sometimes it would be a small pack, other times a large amount all came at once. They were not well organized in this attack. They were just attacking. These creatures had been completely let off their leashes. Did that make fighting them off any easier? Uh, maybe. He then ran forward and hit one right in the face, then used it as a shield against another one's acid spitting before knocking that one away. The acid burned through its skin and into the organs. That stuff was something to watch out for. Forcewave then followed this up with a powerful lightning blast to scatter the ranks of an incoming group and taking out a bunch of them before dismantling a bunch more as best he could. He stood on his tiptoes and tried to relocate. There was a lot of acid around his feet. He could feel it burning the soles of his shoes. Some of it had also splattered onto his leg. Now there were some holes in his pants, and a pretty bad burn on his leg.
The church was somehow holding up. Some strange energy came from it. That energy fended off some of the things. It prevented them from completely assaulting the cemetery. He remembered that one guy that he had seen inside earlier. Was he still in there, or had he left? Wait, he was outside too. Forcewave hadn't even seen him through all the fog and incoming monstrosities. Now there were four of them fighting in the cemetery.
"Yeah, that's me. Nice to see you again." he answered Tyuki as the two of them momentarily worked together to fight off more of the horde. Just so much going on all at once. It was hard to even keep track of all of it. He wanted to go find the source of all these things and do whatever to it to stop this onslaught. There was just no chance to though. Besides, he couldn't just leave them. Looks like he was going to keep fighting alongside them. Hopefully none of them would die as well.
The masses that the creatures formed were scattered all about. The group was splitting up to deal with the rest. Forcewave went with the woman that was being referred to as 'hermione' towards the forest like she said she was going to. He had no clue what she was planning on doing. He just hoped it would work. "What do you have planned? I might be able to help out more if I knew what you even doing. I can just fight them all off for you if you need though. No problems there." he told her as he started to breathe very heavily at the end. This was starting to get a bit tiring. He was just worrying about it all way too much. Whatever was about to happen would work. That was all that needed to be thought about. Believing in the success of what was about to be attempted was the best thing to do. Of course it was.

Re: Welcome To the Abyss
"Well, I don't know what I'm doing exactly." Electricity erupted into a bright burst as Ame ignited a flask in the vicinity of a huddle mass of demons. "All I know is I want to not know what I am doing in the forest as opposed to not knowing what I am doing in the cemetery." More of the creatures spilled out oozing their decrepit mass and hissing an acid with a terrible resolve. Bumming a ride through Europe before or after college usually stimulates the mind to figure out what it wants to do. The analogy with the current situation probably falls short of drawing the parallel, but there is something about adrenaline that can help a magic girl think. "It might give me a better idea as to what these things are and where they are coming from."
Fighting together pushed back the tide of darkness with enough in tow to give Ame all the time she needed to put together her wards. With each piece of levity breaking before them, Ame claimed a new tract to keep her back safe as the trio moved forward. Slipping past the handle Forcewave kept over the ensuing horde of demons, one slipped past and unleashed an acidic onslaught against Ame. "Drive Darkness Back!" Shooting her hand forward, Ame threw forth a ward to break the vicious wave in it wake. Answering with a cruel hiss and a broken stead, the acid simmered into the ground and began to toil in a burning puddle. As she paused to take in her surroundings two beasts approached. Any well of energy resting in her soul called out for her incantation, but none of the power made its way from her fingers. Standing in powerless resolve, Ame threw her hat in a spiraling motion to impact into one the creature's mouth. She took some comfort as it choked on its own acidic saliva, but the second drew back to finish the assault.
The creature burst forth into a vivisection of evil. Its lower body skittered under the momentum the torso brought in the final moments of existence before finally falling to the ground. Never far from a smoking gun, Elaine Angara pushed herself into line to fight against the forces of evil. "Black people in Georgia are out of control."
"These aren't black people; they are demons!"
"That's the most racist thing I've ever heard."
"Buy a taperecorder." Taking his spot just a few steps behind troubel, the spectral corgi felt compelled to guide his protege.
"Now or do we wait until we kill that big looking thing?"
"I believe we have pressing matters."
"Well are you actually going to be useful, or just sit around being maybe or maybe not real?"
"That big thing has a taperecorder."
"Son of a dick." Fixing her hat to stare the bill towards the vile behemoth, Elaine prepared to make her way through the fray and into the fighting corner of the biggest demon she could find. While Ame tagged behind shouting magic words, Elaine laid out enough explosions and nonsensical jumps through reality to make a Michael Bay movie. Gazing towards the demon with both pistols pulled with full barrels, Elaine narrowed her eyes and cocked a load of spit into the side of her mouth. Leaning forward, Elaine hocked the load onto the ground before setting her gaze back to the giant. "Why do I need a taperecorder?"
"All Other Lights Go Out!" A brilliant beam raced from Ame's fingers to bind the creature in light. Ame had raced through the battlefield to get back into line with Elaine, but found her situation worsening by the second. Scores of the creatures surrounded Elaine and Ame, rendering them no quarter or possible escape. "Tyuki!" Ame tried to signal down the flying heroine to orchestrate a rescue, when Elaine caught on to another idea.
Both guns drew to the extremities to create a straight line from left hand to right, balancing the spin Elaine took to position her barrels to places most influential to the fight. Two bullets screamed in opposite directions with similar results while her poncho twirled in the dust. Both bullets dug into the ground beneath the feet of encroaching hordes. The seemingly misplaced bullets briefly stopped the creatures who found her shots falling somewhere outside of basic logic.
Then Elaine logic happened. Throwing her lasso towards the entangled beast, Elaine pulled against his point of balance to bring him falling towards the girls. With the slide of her finger and a pressing of a button both bullets exploded in a mess of darkened blood and acid. Acid rained and singed against the flesh of the plummeting leader as it sheltered Elaine and Ame from the deadly debris. Before the beast could crush the two girls, Elaine grabbed Ame and shadow jumped through the colossus, coming out on top of his back. "What's a Tyuki?"

Re: Welcome To the Abyss
He could feel the energy radiate from Ouro and seem to mingle with the Nether filling the air. It had been too long since they last met, and he was more than happy to see this beings face ocne again, though he had to keep the trepidation under strict lock and key. Weakness in the wake of the expansion of The Abyss was not something that he could afford to show. ”So you did come. I was expecting him, but this is much better than I expected.” Sean noted as the Nether seemed to dance in close proximity around him. His emotions reflected in the dark energy around him, and if anyone could catch on, they would know the Titan was pleased. However his expression was far different than the dark aura suggested.
The distance was closed easy enough, and Ouroborous wiping away a small amount of blood along his cheek, seeming to drink the very life force from the blood of what was once a young girls blood. A small spark seemed to form among the small aura that had formed around him, letting off quickly.”I've been wondering when you would show up.” He turned around, easily keeping pace with the male before him. He would make the process go along much smoother, if no one got it within their mind to try and stop him anyway.
”This is where everything will begin.” He breathed as black mist issued from his mouth and joined the Nether cuirculating around him, as the mist spewed from the abyss began to slowly spread from the center. There were two large beacons of Nether energy within the town, ones not as large as his but still sizable. It was likely that powerful Titans were sent to find him, and perhaps commence his ascension into his full power. He would need to meet with them soon but not now.
While that happened, there was the matter of the demons. Though the horde seemed endless, the heroes opposing them were far too powerful for them to take down alone, which meant that they would have to be dealt with first.”Can't let these mortals continue to make mincemeat of our troops, now can we?'
”He can wait. These need to be dealt with as soon as possible, before they lower our numbers anymore.” The male agreed as they stepped through the cloud that separated these two sections of the town. Around the male writhed dark shadows, like snakes in shape though they had strange red eyes. ”I think its time we stopped playing around and end these whelps.” Eight of these would strike out, splitting up among the heroes that were fighting the demonic horde.

Re: Welcome To the Abyss
Vaga, was a spinning ball of blades, by this point. There were demons everywhere, each of them advancing on him with malice in their hearts and murder in their intent. The Eternal Youth jumped on top of one, slashing it as it went down. He rolled off of it, careful to avoid the acid now that he was outside the protective sphere Zell had set up. A hand accosted the boy from the side, so he took it off with a clean slice. Where were these things even coming from?
The demons were circling him, now, trying to pin him in. Vaga exhaled slowly as he wiped a bit of sweat from his brow. Served him right for complaining about the humidity earlier. As the Demons got closer, Vaga lunged, feigning a slash from the right and instead uppercutting (an apt term, Vaga mused in his head) with a right hook. The Demon in front of him fell, but the one from behind had an opening. It didn't take it, for some reason. Vaga whirled, not giving it the chance. His left blade might've whistled, had he moved faster while reflexively spinning it over his head in a back-handed fashion. The wicked curved weapon gleamed with demon blood as it came downward...
...and stopped a foot away from a beautiful woman with wings that nearly shone with contrast to the darkness around them. Vaga quickly retracted his weapon as she commented on his decreasingly dire circumstances. "Oh, hey- thanks for the assist. I was getting in a little over my head here." The boy, remembering where they were, spun once more, taking off more than a few demon digits in the process. It seemed they had earned a brief few seconds, as the demons took steps back. Vaga turned to see how the other hero was faring, and he was impressed. She wasn't even using weapons and she was devastating their ranks just as easily. Vaga reached out, offering a hand to shake as he introduced himself... but realized that handshaking was probably too difficult when you had blades attached to your arms.
"Right, handshakes later, talking now." He looked up at her, still amazed at her huge wings. Maybe he should look into those wing styles some day. His own wings, though incredibly useful when activated, left much to be desired aesthetically. He mentally commanded himself to get back on topic. "The name's Vaga. I'm the new hero on campus." Well, he added mentally, new to the hero gig, anyway.
Vaga glanced around. The demons were giving them space for some reason. "So... any idea what's going on? Why aren't they attacking?" If Vaga had known that his answer was going to come in the form of eight terrifyingly powerful titans... he never would've asked. He glanced at Eclipse, trying his best to follow her lead. She seemed to know what she was doing.

Re: Welcome To the Abyss
”What, and miss this? It would be like missing Christmas, and we can’t have that can we?” Ouro chuckled as he looked over his shoulder. The heroes were crushing the living hell out of those demons. Zell’s fortifications were helpful no doubt, but they were not exactly good enough. Ouro smirked, but it faded into a look of disgust. ”Their race is a scourge upon the world…” He sneered under his breath, not particularly addressing Sean, but not trying to keep it hidden. He looked back to Sean and gave a weary smile as he stepped forward.
”When I would show up? Or when I would SHOW UP?” Ouroboros asked as he crossed his arms, the skies twisting behind him. He was a decent distance from Sean, far enough to be comfortable. He no longer needed to fear the touch of a Nether being, however he so enjoyed playing cat and mouse with his little black haired cat. It however would be most interesting to see what happens when poor kitty realizes he hasn’t cornered a mouse, but rather something far worse. His eyes scanned around, looking up to Lourishna, the Ravenheart. Ouroboros, snagged Sean’s shoulder, hoping to turn him to face him, or at least gather his attention. ”Is this what you REALLY want?” He asked. His voice was impartial, but it was dead serious abut finding if this was what Sean wanted. He smiled, knowingly at the response. ”Then take it.” Ouro said, it might not have been much, but he basically gave his own support in saying Sean should go for it, to take what he deserved.
A howl of pain roared form Ouro as he grabbed onto the A.V.A.T.A.R He looked and pressed the compartments on it, bringing up descriptions and data entries, commands and scheduled tasks for the supercomputer attachment to do. His face turned sour as her noted that at that very moment in time, Zell had programmed special nanites filled with an energy almost carbon-copied of nether energy to release into his bloodstream. ”Damn you Atterrius, you don’t know when you’ve lost…” He snarled to himself. He felt his hold on the mind and body loosening, and his powers waning as his blood was neutralized. ”Looks like I need to cut this short again…It seems that Zell has finally found a way he can beat me. Ouro broke out into a quiet, but fulfilling episode of chuckling. He shook his head and sighed. ”I couldn’t even say that with a straight face…regardless. I take my leave, Do me a favor and make his life a living hell?” Ouro asked as he began to walk away, winking at the Titan before Lourishna dropped from the sky and lifted Ouro, taking him to back to the other heroes. He was lowered to the ground, and Lourishna dropped him.
Zell had returned, making a point to land by Vega and a strange woman he hadn’t yet met. He looked at her and nodded as he attached his right eye visor and eye piece. Vaga seemed to be in need of assistance, and yet somehow Zell was late for the party.
”Vaga, good to see you’re okay. Nice to meet you Miss.” Zell said as he pulled Misanthropy from his back and throwing it. The blade flew in a straight line, impaling two demons, then pulling out form them as if it retracted back to his hand. The blade secured in had, Zell began to watch as the Demons ran for the hills. The very nature of that was not well. Demons were supposed to be fierce creatures, and this was not expected. ”This is insane…What’s the point of not aging if the world burns with you on it?”

Re: Welcome To the Abyss
"Awesome! I've always wanted to see more teenage heroes!"
The Pop Princess had a huge attitude change for a moment. She had to play the role of a hero, and she couldn't mess that up. Not when she could impress this guy. Throwing another punch left, then right, she took down two demons. Their acidic saliva coated her hand and ate through part of her gold glove, however. Her skin sizzled and burned from the acid, but she had the power to fix that. Literally.
With only a moment to react, a demon had slashed for her, but Vaga's swiping claws hindered the demon. Sighing with relief, she gave him a nod and let her healing powers activate. A soft breeze rolled around of herself and Vaga, and then the white and gold healing energy spread out in a wide sphere, healing herself, and Vaga of any wounds he had suffered. Her eyes became bright white, her hair as well. As her wound began to heal, the tears and rips in her suit were more noticeable now than ever. A bit embarrassed, she curled her wings around of herself. This was no time to be embarrassed, though! She had to face a horde of demons!
But, they were retreating.
Wait, they were retreating?
"Huh? What?"
She then noticed a sword fly by and impale two of the creatures as they shrunk back to the forest.
"Oh no! They're heading to the graveyard!" she said, and took off, her wings sending a huge cloud of debris as she took off.
Snapping the feathered appendages to her back, she dropped like a heavy weight and landed just behind of Elaine.
"ELAINE?" she asked, a bit taken aback by the crazy cowgirl being here.
"I'm a Tyuki!" she exclaimed, too excited to see the crazy cowgirl here.
"But, this Tyuki has to punch things!" she cracked her knuckles and turned around, just to see two scary looking Titans landing on the highway that the graveyard was a mere five feet from.
This was going to be great.

Re: Welcome To the Abyss
In the forest they were. Likely because standing among the trees is more suitable than standing above a bunch of graves. By now both the forest floor and cemetery grounds were doused in the acid of these things. It was becoming difficult to even walk around without risk of burning through the soles of your shoes, and then your feet themselves. The people that had gathered here just kept on fighting the endless barrage of what were apparently demons. According to this Hermione woman at least. Demons would fit as a term for them. Though knowing what to call them wasn't all that helpful. Forcewave looked over the threshold of the nearest group and just saw more and more. Outnumbered was an understatement. They could retreat deeper into the forest. The ground there had not been doused in acid and the canopy would be thicker. Though the lack of light would make it easier for these apparent demons to use sneak attacks. Though these things preferred to just lunge at whatever they saw that they wanted to kill.
Forcewave was using the trees as a way to hold them close and take them out in small groups rather than just one at a time. He knocked over a tree on top of a few and ducked to dodge one swiping at his head before striking it in the ribcage and slamming it to the ground. He dove away from a few more that were coming towards him and blasted them away and to their demise. Kneeling over to watch what was going on he saw the rest nearby being taken down by a woman in a cowgirl hat. Somebody new had joined the fray, bringing the grand total of individuals here fighting off these demons up to five. That's right, five. This newcomer immediately got into the main fold of the action all while apparently talking to herself. Eh, help was help.
Trying to keep track of all that was occuring was proving to be a dangerous gamble. It wasn't working out all that well. By this point he was just avoiding a ton of burns and wounds at the hands of the demons and the endless acid they were producing. Forcewave had been pushed out of the forest and back into the cemetery simply by trying to find a place to stand. His feet were burning too, and it really freaking hurt. After blasting the group nearest him away he looked down at his feet. The soles were nearly completely burn't through and they were just ravaged. Seeing that keeping them on would just get in the way he slipped out of them and put them away. "Great. I'm going to need to buy new shoes, and I liked this pair. Uhh. I'm gonna have such stained socks after this."
The endless horde may have kept coming, but it was just being fought off. Their only real strength was in numbers, and the pools of acid they left everywhere. Other than that they were no match for the heroes that were there. This was becoming clear to everyone as others arrived. These two were different from the others. High ranking members of this whatever order it was. Perhaps even the leaders. Then came eight more and the attack struck upon them all again. Forcewave fired a powerful bolt of energy directly at the two newcomers. Might as well take the fight to them since they were here.

Re: Welcome To the Abyss
Sitting pretty on a highway, nestled between the quickly decaying outskirts of the small town, two titans of destruction took form. It mattered in a greater context, but for now the swarms of demons moved throughout the fray of the hectic battles with rampant dismay. "I think we're doing better against the demons." Or, at least it looked as though the rampant destruction would prove problematic until the new wave of heroes crashed through the demonic horde.
"Okay, so you're a Tyuki. I met the princess of the Tyukis once in Minnesota, but she's dead now; I'm sure that was tragic, but we did our best." Before the swarm of demons could regroup and descend upon the trio, Elaine pressed another six rounds into the chamber and closed it with the pleasing click.
"You pushed her in the gaping hole." The corgi retorted.
"She would've died any number of other ways. Princess Tyuki was a dumbass." Elaine looked back towards the abyss to make any number of assumptions as to what her next move should come as. The next move came to her.
"Any opinions on the situation at hand?"
"Someone needs to tell the Abyss to stop gazing into me because it's pervy."
"I'm sure the abyss is having second thoughts on its gaze."
"This shouldn't be all that hard. Twelve year olds don't have anything to live for, so the kid standing over there can sacrifice himself as a diversion. After, that we can flank the demons and fight them from each angle with anyone who can fly or defy space. Also, you die after the kid for obvious reasons." The heroic team assembled before the gates of chaos and lightning crashed before them. "Everyone got your assignments?"
Before any answers could come or any children could be flayed alive, Elaine shot through the titans and came out on the other side with her pistols unholstered and pointed in between the titans. Two round would impact in the middle and stay dormant until the she flipped the guns back in her hands. Her fingers slid towards the detonation triggers. A burst of energy would heat up the humid air with a violent explosion rupturing from the ground. If her plan worked, she would break up the titans and divert their attention from being able to fight as a team. She slid her legs around to shift her hips in a rotation to bring her to face the titans in their next range of actions.
As the explosion blasted up, Ame went in to action to try and avoid what Elaine felt so obvious. "Drive Darkness Back!" Throwing a ward towards the titans, Ame tried to build on the momentum of Elaine's surprise element and drive a wedge between the two titans. When the smoke cleared, the ward would stay in place to keep a barrier between the divided fights. "So good so far."
