Rating
Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.
Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Brave the Rain - AU X-men RPG
Brave the Rain
Type: Play-by-Post Alternate Universe RPG (X-men)
Age: New – Opened July 18 2013

It has been a few years since the graduation of the first class: consisting of Banshee, Beast, Cyclops and later joined by Boom Boom and Marvel Girl. During the years with Professor Xavier they not only got an education preparing them to be normal citizens, but training to control and use their mutant gifts. Now, they are the X-men, superheroes championing human/mutant cohabitation of the world. However, the forming of the X-men is not the end of Charles Xavier’s dream. He wishes to do more for mutants now, whether they can one day live peacefully with humans or not. He formed his school not just for the raising of his current X-men, but for future generations to come.
The doors of the school are now open to the world! Oh, they have not gained any recognition, yet. In fact, the world only knows the places as a boarding school for gifted children. Because of this, most students are sought out through the use of Cerebro located in the secret sub-basement of the mansion; lost, lonely and frightened kids struggling with their mutations and even facing persecution by normal human beings.
People are starting to notice that there are those among them with strange gifts, weird powers. The persons that were once chalked up to just being freaks, humans are starting to realize that there is something more to those differences that set them so starkly apart. Nothing spreads quicker than fear and there are those who are already crying to the government for answers. However, despite this rising acknowledgment of mutants throughout the world, for the time being, things seem to be relatively calm in the world.
The threats do not stop just with the humans, but there are enemies within the ranks of mutants as well. Charles is all too aware that Magneto, a former comrade, has been gathering powerful mutants to his side, calling them The Brotherhood. Magneto believes there is a war brewing between mutants and humanity. It is his belief that mutants are the next stage in human evolution and it is homo-superior’s place to subjugate and rule home-sapiens. Professor X knows how damaging this could be to the already fragile relationship between the two sets of humans.
Now, though, some are starting to notice strange disappearances. A neighbor or friend or relative may be here one day and gone the next without leaving so much of a trace of them or a single clue as to where they are gone. What many are not realizing is that all those who are vanishing have one thing in common - they are all mutants. It has become a grave enough situation to grab the attention of both Magneto and Professor X, both worry in their own ways and both are seeking answers.
But with tension ever growing, mutants are not going to be able to hide for much longer and they are going to have to take a side. Do they believe that humans and mutants can and should leave together in peace? Or do they believe that humans are inferior and deserve to be crushed and ruled? Either way, everyone can see the storm clouds building on the horizon, the thunder rumbling in the distance and even a few telltale slivers of lightning streaking the sky – the smell of rain is in the air. What side will you choose? How will you Brave the Rain?
