Chiro, Venatorus' non fighting pet monkey!

Name: Chiro

Image: Resembles a Capuchin monkey, except where the Capuchin is beige, Chiro is a pale green, and where the Capuchin is black, he is a bright blue. Has golden eyes.




History:
Venatorus had heard tales of a strange colored monkey hiding out in the ruins of Machu Picchu. It was a strange blue-green color, and there had been alleged sightings of the animal for the past two hundred years. As he had been meaning to learn more of the various cultures on Earth, he planned a trip to Peru. After weeks of searching through the ruins and the surrounding forest, he discovered the source of the tales.

In what is the equivalent of the Earth year 1439, the Elrenians sent their first rocket containing a living organism into space. Chiro, a Putoen monkey (shape shifting species that resemble Capuchins) was supposed to visit the third Elrenian moon, and then come back. However, the mission went horribly wrong and the spacecraft, with Chiro inside, blasted away, to be never heard from again. The mission was deemed a failure, and Chiro was presumed dead.

However it appeared that the mission just went farther than planned, and Chino was alive after all. With the ability to turn into any other primate, it was clear how he had been able to avoid capture for so long. Venatorus found him living in a hollow inside of a tree. He brought him back to the states, and has adopted him as a pet/child. Venatorus was glad to find a pet who could live as long as he; neither of them could die without outside interference (i.e murder, illness, natural disaster, etc.)

Description of the Species:
Putoen are an extremely advanced species, more akin to humans than other ape/monkey species. There bodies are extremely durable, as they would have to be, to shape shift. They are extremely agile and intelligent, more so than the average human. They are able to move at speeds of up to 250 mph. When they transform they retain all of their former capabilities, with the exclusion of speed, and their strength changes to fit the animal they are currently impersonating (However much speed goes down by, strength goes up). If they die while transformed, as long as the brain is not irreparably damaged, they return back to their original form.

Power(s):
The ability to shape shift into any form of primate. Any human who sees the transformation occur will not remember it. This only applies to human's who are not related to the super powered world.
