Crafting an Alliance

Gary and Slam sat at a table across from Pain. Slam spoke first, "Seeing as you broke our last deal mate, you can see why we're a bit hesitant to make you a new offer."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah what ever bro...This time I'm real...I need some more power if I'm gonna take down both those damn symbiotes...." Pain chuckled..."Besides that, notice anything new?" He said moving his face from side to side to show his youth.

"Your ugly mug looks the same to me mate," sadi Slam with a chuckle.

"He got younger some how," sadi Overmind, studying Pain from across the room. "Intruiging."

"So what is it that you want mate?"

"I want an arm like yours..." He said with a devilish smile...

"We can do that, for an equal exchange," smiled Gary right back.

"Name your price..."

"You let me get a hold of some of your blood."

"Deal...I got plenty to spare..." Pain said with a chuckle as he stood up and walked over to him..."Make it fun..."

"Not here, let's get down to the lab first, I can do both real quick."

"Alright man...What ever you say..." Pain followed Ed into his lab...

The trio took an elevator down to the depths of the lab. There they broke four needles on Pain trying to extract blood and 7 in Ed's back trying to inject the new concoction into his spinal marrow. The arm forge went smoothly, Slam had requested a fresh pair himself so the metal was ready for forging. After taking a cast the arm was set and made. The arm was then fit with the necessary electronics and fit it onto Pain.

"There, you both go. You now have Pain's healing factor, and you have a bionic arm. Since you don't have a compact form they are more resiliant to heat and electricity. It also runs off of the same system, but since you only wanted one arm it has twice the energy of Slam's, so it can exert more force." said Gary, obviously proud of his work.

Pain moved his new arm about, moving the fingers first, then the whole arm..."Not bad guys...I like it...Now I need to test it...." He chuckled...

"Where we gonna do this mate?"

"I like your style Slam...Dunno, its your place...You decide..."

"I've always wanted to brawl with you in a bigger arena. Gary can you open up the sub-basement?"

"Sure guys, I just finished programming the simulator."
