Fates holiday in Aussie...or not. (closed to Warlach572)

Drake (or Fate) was in desperate need of a holiday. He was tired of being the hero all the time. He grabbed his laptop sat on his bed and typed in Google 'warm sunny place with hot babes', he clicked enter. He looked at the first link 'Aussie, a place for dreams', he clicked on the link and a porno photo greeted him, beckoning him to Australia.
"That is where I'm going" a wide grin spread across his face. He pulled out his phone texting his girlfriend he was going to be in Aussie for a few days. He climbed out the window and ignited his body.
"Let's fly" he yelled as he soared south.

He stopped in Perth for a quick break he still wanted to get to the Gold Coast but using his powers were quite tiring. The weather was perfect, what a great place to be. Nothing could go wrong.

Harpoon dashed through the streets of Perth, his regular area. He climbed up onto a building and looked down at the arriving tourists in the airport. Little did they know that they were all about to be taken hostage by a vicious gang called the Midnight Sharks. He quickly ran towards the airport. He jumped off a building and landed on the ground. Slipping silently past the guards, he moved towards the arrivals lounge of the airport, where the gang was. He knew that the gang should have announced their presence by now. He just hoped he wasn't too late.

Drake looked around as he saw police cars heading in the direction of the airport.
"Are you serious" he muttered angrily, "I still better do my job".
His body once again ignited. He jetted to the back of a police car and started following it at a safe distance through the busy streets of Perth. He was surprised at how normal everyone acted around a flying guy made entirely of fire, their must be another hero in Aussie he mused.
He arrived at the airport and looked around, everything was so quiet. What could be wrong?

Harpoon was just about to sneak in to the arrivals lounge, when he saw through a window, someone on fire flying towards the airport. "Oh great, someone else has decided to show up. I guess I could use the help." He muttered to himself. He exited the building to greet the guy. "So, who are you and what are you doing here? There weren't any other heroes in Perth the last time I checked. Sorry, I'm being rude, I should introduce myself first. My name is Harpoon, and I am the local hero around here." He said.

Fate looked at the guy wearing a wetsuit, he looked pretty gay.
He smirked "Well I am Fate the hottest and awesomest super hero ever to have walked the planet, and I control the stuff which stars are made up of. Cool ah", he played with a fire ball in his hand.
"So what is the problem here, I might as well smash some bad guys up since I'm here".
Fate looked the hero who called himself Harpoon waiting for an answer.
"What powers do you have, if you have any at all" Fate asked.

Harpoon looked at Fate. He was covered in fire. It was surprising that he hadn't burnt down something yet. "Nice too meet you Fate. What I do is simple. I breathe underwater, I am healed underwater, and I use a Spear-gun to kill criminals with. Now there is a gang called the Midnight Sharks in there, and I could use a hand in dealing with them. If you would like to help, I would appreciate it." He said calmly. He watched the guy play with a fireball in his hand. The guy could provide some serious firepower if he decided to help.

Fate look back at Harpoon,
"Sure Ill help, but you didn't tell me what the problem is in their, has an aero plane turned evil".
Fate extinguished the flames around his body waiting for Harpoons reply.

Harpoon started walking towards the airport. "The gang is holding a bunch of people hostage. Now they are going to get paid in a very large sum of money, and if that doesn't happen, they will kill the hostages." He explained. He turned back towards fate. "Well are you coming or not?" He asked, as he held out his hand to the guy. "I could use some help for a change." He said.

Fate looked at the mans hand but not touching it.
"What is the plan, do we go in guns blazing or do we quietly sneak in" Fate asked bemused, "just so you know I think the first option sounds great." In Fates hand was fireball as he made it grow larger and larger.

Harpoon figured out a plan. "I sneak in and free the hostages while you cause a distraction. Once I get the hostages out of there we take down the gang." He explained. He dashed into the airport, hoping Fate would be able to cause a distraction to get them all looking the other way.

Fates body transformed into fire and he jetted onto the roof of the airport just above the hostages. He blasted a hole into the roof and dropped through the hole and yelled at the top of his voice.
"I am god, drop your weapons and bow down to me or...die!!!" instantly the gang dropped their weapons and put their heads as low to the ground as possible, he must look pretty frightening.
"Hostages you may leave and don't forget to tell the cops to come in here" Fate talked in a deep commanding voice. Fate was grinning beneath the flames, he had to be the coolest hero to ever have lived.

Harpoon just stared at the idiot. The chances of that actually working were nearly impossible. But the Midnight Sharks were a bunch of pansies, so they surrendered. Harpoon walked into the arrivals lounge and twirled his Spear-gun. A few minutes later, Harpoon left, and the police came in. The arrivals lounge was a complete mess. There were dead gangster corpses everywhere, and the entire place was covered in blood. Several of the police officers threw up out of sheer disgust. Harpoon walked over to Fate. "Thanks for the help. Killing them was even easier thanks to you. I owe you one." He said. He bowed and turned around, then started to walk off.

Fate chased him and grabbed him by the soldier, "I thought you were a hero, you piece of shit" Fate looked disgusted at Harpoon. "Why the fuck did you kill them all, I am taking you to Los Angeles to go in prison for life".
Fate couldn't believe that someone could be so cold and kill so many people. He was going to take him down. His body ignited in flames.

Harpoon was surprised at Fate's anger. "I did what had to be done. They would have bought their way out of jail anyway. The only way to stop evil is to kill evildoers." He pointed his Spear-gun at Fate's head and fired. Then he started running towards the lake in the middle of Perth. It wasn't that far. Once he was in the lake, he couldn't die. The spear wouldn't kill fate anyway, the guy was made of fire. He had almost reached the lake...

Fate supercharged his body with as much fire as he could muster and released a widespread blast straight at Harpoon.
Only the greatest warriors could manage to dodge this.
